I've read that Mongolian girls are hot too, but that the men are violently protective of them. It's such a remote and sparse place I wouldn't go there unless there is somrthing else I was primarily interested in.

I heard that too about the males there. However, Mongolia is a very beautiful country which is slowly opening to tourism, specially Europeans going there in droves in the summer.

Haha, this is awesome, glad I found it. Off to Japan for two weeks at the start of May. Will implement some of the above and ensure I post a report or two.

Got my JR unlimited train pass for two weeks and attempting to couch surf as much as possible to save cash. Apparently it is hard to get accommodation via CS'ing in Japan, especially at the start of may when there is a big holiday / festival on.

Will post up any money saving tips I have on return.

Don't speak any Japanese as such. Have a kick ass lonely planet phrase book. That goes into some pretty neat pick lines. There is a 'romance' seciton.

Literally there is a translation for "do you want to have sex" "Do you have a comdom" "want to got to a hotel" etc.

They are top books, the spanish one has similar translations.

Figure I literally carry it about and read it to them if I can't be bothered getting it down. Handy pocket sized book to.
