attractiveness rating scales
This is a bit of a read and obviously this dude took serious math in college, but his whole theory on rating male vs female attractiveness is probably the most well thought-out that I've ever read:

RE: attractiveness rating scales
Nice post. I use binary ratings for my hookups, not so much relationships, but I do like his take on the 1-10 scale. I wonder if there could ever be a 10 on that scale. Is there a woman that 100% of guys would find attractive? Monica Bellucci? Sofia Vergara (The Columbian from Modern Family)? I'm sure some guppy would prefer his Super Mario playing nerdfemme and ruin that perfect score. God damn nerds.

In related news (OMG): Sofia Vergara

I really think it would be impossible for a guy not to find those two girls the pinnacle of beauty.

Interesting that they are both older women.

Well if 99% of guys would bang Vergara, that's as good as 100%.

I thought that guy's way of having two different scales for men and women was fascinating, especially the way he broke it down using math. Even a true good looking alpha male may will not have the majority of the female population wanting to sleep with him. Yet a girl that's a hair above a 5 will have slightly more than half the population of males wanting to sleep with her if she made herself available.

Yeah, it is kind of strange.

I always find it interesting how some girls will think I am extremely good looking and others are very put off looks wise.

But I do come with a pretty heavy style so I guess it doesn't work universally.

It is, this article you posted is pretty spot on too. Women's tendency toward group think and gossip is pretty damn annoying. You can be hanging with a group of girls, one of them will excuse herself to the lady's room and before you know it, the rest of them all of a sudden have to excuse themselves too to join their friend in the bathroom. I guess so they can all gossip. You'll never see guys doing shit like that.

Same problem here.

On the other end, there are absolutely girls that people tell me are gorgeous and I just don't think so.

For example Monica Bellucci mentioned above. Sure I'd bang her, and very well, but I can think of better. In fact you can google her and find pictures where I think she looks downright creepy.

Aloha!

Speaking of beauty scales, I think this chic is about the closest thing to a perfect 10 I've ever seen
