RE: Zyzz: Opinions?
A few simple tricks. Depending on how serious you are taking weight lifting. During your 6 week cutting phase you should absolutely see your abs without flexing. That's your best measure for body fat visually. Generally men will gain fat below the belly button and retain there the most, so if you have your lower abs ripped as well now you're talking "I want to fuck this guy" looks from women. Generally when you get to that level the girl wakes up and immediately assumes you're never calling her again.
4-6 weeks muscular encdurance (20 reps lower weight slow lift, count to 5 as you lower the bar to your chest as an example)
4-6 weeks build phase (heavy protein intake and calories, large weights lower reps speed less important, for must be on point)
4-6 weeks cutting, faster reps dependent on genetics and skillet, you may crank out up to 10 reps
Basically as you can guess during the 4-6 gain cycle you can't see your abs and you rarely get eye fucked by women unless you are already a big dude in long sleeve t-shirts. taking off your shirt has no effect, during the other cycles you can take off your shirt and get eye fucked fast. Other simple tests include arm fat, there should be 0 fat practically on your triceps, the fat will be between bicep and shoulder if anywhere, this is where during the cutting phase it goes away. In terms of muscle growth your shoulders should protrude out and dip into your arm, just look at Dwight Howard for an extreme example. When you flex your biceps in a long- sleeve you should still be able to see the peak to it, shit even in a nice suit you can see the peak.
Glad you're ignoring all the hate in muscle dude game. If Gio ends up reading this I literally just fucked that 19 y/o from the mall. Want to know what she said when we finished up?Don't put your shirt on I want it off until I leave in an hour
Guess that makes me a gay fanboy.
Oh one extra rule. Suck in your stomach do not flex it then pinch around to measure body fat. Flexing your abs is incorrect lifting. You want to suck in your stomach to stabilize your spine, also gives you a better way to measure the body fat. If you are "flexing" you should only be able to pinch skin, otherwise you're still not there yet. Under 1/2 inch or so when sucked in. This one is harder and more accurate. The skin pinch on flexing abs is better for general good body fat %. Next thing you know the new hate comment is going to be so womanly they call you "anorexic". Ha!

Like I said earlier, maybe this is a generation thing. I'm closing in on 40, so the whole internet celebrity thing just seems weird to me. I came of age before Facebook and YouTube, so I'm still of the mentality that bad boy moves in silence and violence. Maybe that's an outdated way of thinking and maybe I should adjust. Who knows? I'll just have to see what the next 40 years has in store for me.
I don't understand it either man. Has anyone in this thread even talked shit about his body?? Don't criticize the gay Zyzz God or you're hating on working out and muscles.

RE: Zyzz: Opinions?
I thought the point of the forum is to post up topics to improve life/game.
I don't know how discussing a man's sexual orientation, a dead man, helps us get a better looking body.
Then again I'm socially inept.
Prefer focusing on what can be learned from someone like zyzz. Get in shape, be audacious. Or sit there and live a boring ass life, the choice is ours.
I dont have time for negative commentary that adds no value
So if I see it I'll comment on it and attempt to turn it into a positive. Ex: sounds like bacan is somewhat more motivated to get in shape. At least this thread added a positve to his life. Again. I am a retard.
Maybe discussing a dead man's sexual orientation gives us results? If so how? Please explain. Wasted time is pissing money down the drain
@ magicbullets: you should absolutely get positive comments regarding veins. Particularly when drinking. It's another common positive comment made by bitches.
@bacan: make your own slide show. Every 6 weeks take a photo and you'll track the improvement.
Finally, while I agree the guy kind of looked like a "clown" and jr summed it up nicely saying he had no doubt the guy could "pull mad ass".... The obvious correct answer is infront of you. Get in shape
If I am perceived as "homo" for being in shape but I pull "mad ass" because of it. Whose winning that war?
Saying fitness is a waste of time has no value. You can't even take money with you if you're dead.

You quoted my post, but I don't really understand what it is that I've said that you're reacting to. Who said that you were gay for caring about your body? I made a comment about Zyzz, based on Kosko's observation. The dude happens to remind me of some dudes I've known who were closeted. That's about all I said. I don't know why you would interpret that as having anything to do with you. Did someone say that anyone with a six pack must be a homo? Maybe you're not reacting to me, though.
As for the whole negative vs. positive thing, again who's being negative? The OP asked what people's opinions of this dude are. I gave mine. I don't get the appeal. He's got a great body, awesome. That doesn't do anything for me. The running around, making up catch phrases, promoting yourself on YouTube, that doesn't do anything for me. I find it very feminine. And I also think that the large majority of the dudes who jock this guy (and no, that's not a knock at anyone on this forum) are more living vicariously through him than using him as motivation.
If other people like Zyzz, cool. If he motivates other people to get into the gym and improve themselves, awesome. The less people sitting around eating Cheetos, playing video games and getting fat, the better off our society will be. I have no issue with fitness what's so ever. It's one of the best investments that any man can ever make.
You make it sound like if I don't tell you how awesome you are, then I'm "hating." I don't really understand that mentality. When I came up, dudes clowned on each other constantly. If one of my friends was wearing a slightly suspect shirt, I might say something like, "nice shirt. Do they sell men's clothes at the store you got that?" That's not "hating" on his shirt, that's just dudes giving each other grief. Likewise, when I say that Zyzz's hair looks like Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, that's just jokes.

RE: Zyzz: Opinions?
Since it was posted in lifestyle, assumption was lifestyle takeaways from this guy.
1. Get ripped
2. Learn how to be good at marketing (catch phrases like "you jelly", "come at me bro", "you mirin"
3. Who gives a fuck attitude
4. You only live once
Instead it got derailed multiple times. Takes a lot to make me annoyed and the derailment fucked the thread.
To be honest, the second category mentioned is even more important. If you suck at marketing you can't make money. No doubt there are some shredded guys who don't make shit and look similar. Mike had a post on some muscle dude who won 10gs that's a smart move. This guy made a lifestyle off you tube videos.
Shit. Think about the cool people we all know I will bet money you use some of their repeated phrases. Or at least can recognize them.
Looks, Money, Girls... Wtf else is there to want in life?

The body adjusts and gets used to everything. You constantly have to surprise and shock your body. When you start to plateau, mix up your workouts, mix up your diet. I change my entire routine every 2-3 months.
But, to answer your question more directly, burning more calories with exercise while eating fewer calories is a good basic rule of thumb. However, some people mistake this for under eating. You can eat, just eat clean. And, eat when the sun is up, limit your eating at night.
FOCUS ON HIGH QUALITY, NUTRIENT RICH, AND DENSE CALORIES!!
You don't have to starve yourself, you just have to eat high quality food! And, avoid bullshit foods.
When your body starts getting used to something, make a change!
