Botox users?
this might sound gay but I think I am going to get a botox.

I had this wrinkles on my forehead since I was kid.
(because I get shit faced all the time, raise eyebrows when I open eyes bigger)

I tried to move my scalp backward to see what it would look like without wrinkles. It made me look 5 years younger.

there is another alternative thing called dysport.
dysport is cheaper but it requires more units so the cost is the same at the end.

Any botox users? how was your experience?

Skip the botox. If you go to the wrong clinic, or they even make a mistake at the right one, you can end up looking like Frankenstein for months.

Hyaluronic Acid injections are the way to go

If they make a mistake, you can fix/get rid of it. It's also naturally occurring in our bodies. I take it orally (liquid form) for a martial arts injury I sustained to my elbow.

Look into it. Via injection, it can do the same thing, with substantially less risk.

Lol wut? That's not how it works. You don't have to be obsessed with your looks, but I'd like to see you in action if you don't care about your looks at all and strictly rely on confidence.

If you have paler skin and want something that will last longer, check CO2 laser resurfacing. Fair skinned individuals react better to CO2 laser treatments. I work with some vapid middle aged women, and I have witnessed the results of different treatments on a daily basis. The laser resurfacing is a winner, and converted former Botox + Juvederm user. Recovery time may be an issue, but I can't argue, as it works well on those 50 somethings.

Check some dentists out, as some dentists are now getting into the Botox racket and for lower prices.

RE: Botox users?
try it out, i actually work at a plastic surgery clinic and over thousands of patients, i don't think I've seen one male get botox. maybe one or two...but usually not. the laser resurfacing or TCA peels is good if you want to rejuvenate your skin surface but yeah, you look like a lobster for a while. or just get a good massage and facial regularly. 4-5 of those is probably going to cost as much as botox injections.

i've also heard good things about the Obaji blue system.

RE: Botox users?
Haven't tried it but plan to start Doing it regularly

Botox is safe and has been used for over 20 years for different reasons.
It works in existing wrinkles and prevents new ones forming. Studies in which one twin has received it regularly and not the other is dramatic.

I would guess everyone in Hollywood uses it.

Like anything medical, go to the right person ie dermatogist In this case which makes the Small chance of a side effect ( headache, droopy eyelid) even less likely. The toxin dissolves after 4-6 months so it's a regular treatment although regular users have a sustained effect

Botox is the best for wrinkles

Hyakuronic acid and other fillers are for lost volume and known as a soft lift

CO2 lasers etc again are targeting something totally different in this case skin texture say from acne scarring etc

Bottom line go ahead and do it just have it done by the right person

I was being somewhat facetious, but for minor issues like crow's feet, it actually works.

Botox is not worth the money. It can mess up your face for a good 6 months.
If you are in SE Asia, try it - it is much cheaper there! It works differently for people, depending on your facial muscles. Very often you get wrinkles you never had before after the treatment. Your face also looks different a bit. The cost is around 500 USD in one of the best hospitals in Bangkok for example.
My advice don't do it! I have tried it and I regret it.

RE: Botox users?
Where did you inject botox? the whole face?

People still need some natural wrinkles to look normal.
It would look too scary if your face looks like it got ironed.
It will also paralyze some muscle groups for smiling and laughing. basically, you might not be able to smile and laugh in a natural looking way.

I think I will just give it a shot since it's just for wrinkles on my forehead.

Topical retinoids like retin-A have been proven to reduce wrinkles, but you'll be prone to sunburn and your skin can peel like crazy in the first few weeks.

On a side note, at one point I had an acne breakout and had to use huge amounts of 10% benzyl peroxide. After 3 months my forehead lines were gone and so were my crow's feet. Skin felt very tight though. But I was acne free and wrinkle free. I still use the 5% benzyl peroxide and whenever I skip a few days the lines start coming back.

Not sure what the long term consequences will be though. But I prefer a cream to getting needles stuck in my face.
