The biggest player I know and one of my good friends is Turkish. Privately and within social circles, promiscuity rules; at least amongst the more secular and Westernized crowd.

His Turkish network has led to a number of Turkish bangs and a pretty good understanding of their culture.

I wouldn't call B.S. on that survey too quickly. After all, it's probably a survey amongst a big range of people from all sorts of backgrounds. Not just players.. heh. I had more than the average number of sex partners years ago before I went to japan (crazy time) and before I even heard of pick-up theory. So 14 doesn't seem too odd.

Also, some of the other numbers seem to make sense. For example I told my girl in Croatia about the high percentage of Croatians who, according to the survey, said they had sex in a car. She said: "That makes sense. We all live with our parents."

And I do not think so much has changed in 7 years. And note how the countries with few partners, and low numbers for satisfaction are in fact poosy paradises. That makes perfect sense. Japan is just one example..

Turks are very flexible with the truth
I spent three months there and three of my best friends are Turkish women - a mother and her 2 daughters. They are muslims but have very modern attitudes. Nevertheless, one daughter has only had 2 sex partners, her sister probably is a virgin (haven't asked) and her friends also have a low cock-count. We discussed sexual attitudes repeatedly and at great length. Turkish women are highly jealous of their partners and will not tolerate infidelity. Turkish males are very protective of their women, and cockblock like crazy. Turkey is not a hook-up society. The survey is bollocks.
