However, you make a great point. Something I've heard repeatedly (haven't been to Latin America myself yet) is that it's much more socially acceptable for a young woman (late teens to mid-20's) to be with a older man (like, 20 or 30 years her senior) in Latin America in general (Colombia in particular was mentioned) than it is in North America.

Yes, in Colombia I ADD 5 years to my real age whe I meet any girl under 23, they go crazy trying to bed me quickly and claim me. If I say I'm 40, it's amazing the positive reaction I get from 19 year olds!
