Yeah, that is hypocritical and maybe even fits that sad feminist mantra about "nice guys are actually jerks". When I was nice and getting absolutely no play (or even a date), I was genuinely nice, and would have been absolutely mortified at the thought of punching someone for being annoying, that no can mean yes, or that a girl is somehow obligated to have sex with me.

That said, I don't think these guys represent a large part of the nice guy population country-wide.

I was just going to post this lol, you beat me to it.

This show the "extremes" of niceguyism.

But if they showed a "normal looking", schlubby, slightly disheveled guy that said he likes video games, etc, without all the "women are only after douchebags" shit, then mocked him - that would be a bit different.

If someone has the time, there should be a "betas of okcupid" or "real nice guys of okcupid" tumblr.


For men or women - advertising your dating failures on a dating site is not a good look. This site is pretty much equivalent to the "okcupid hamster" thread.

This Tumblr is fucking abominable. It's just pure cruelty. Let's laugh at the fat unlaid dorks. There was a Gawker article about it where I meekly tried to defend these sad sacks, and the bit everyone latched on to in defending the site's author was: two guys answered "yes" to the match question: "Do you feel there are any circumstances in which a person is obligated to have sex with you?"

Two guys out of 20 or so said yes. That's the wrong answer to this absurd Women's Studies land mine of a question. This Shibboleth.

Fine. They chose poorly; fuck 'em. Those two are the better looking dudes on the site, anyway. The rest of these guys are just so fucking sad-- their pictures and words are like watching a baby rabbit get hit by a car. But the author of this blog implicitly ties them in to "rape culture" and a bunch of other buzzword bullshit to get moral cover for mocking sad, lonely dorks. Guys whom we should be helping. Making fun of these dudes is like kicking a one-legged orphan's ankle out from under him.

Where are the fucking MEN in these guys' lives? Would any of you let your worst enemy say any of that shit in his OKC profile? Would any of you let your worst enemy get that fat and grow that beard? They're not just lacking women in their lives, they're lacking men who know the way shit really is. And these guys are legion. One in a hundred thousand of them will pick up a gun and go kill a bunch of kids. One in one of them are human beings feeling serious pain every motherfucking day.

The "man-o-sphere" is bullshit, in a lot of ways. It's Palestine to Jezebel's Israel, where the rest of the planet rightly says "fuck off, your conflict is absurd." But then you see shit like this. These guys need the message. How the fuck have they not found it? How do we get it to them?

I would say poor guys but the truth is at least 90% of guys out there are haters, will fuck you over the first chance they get just for some pussy and don't even want to be helped. These are the same dummies that will talk shit about you for trying to fuck so many girls and "disrespecting" them. I'm done feeling sorry for them or trying to get them over to the dark side.
