Question Eastern Europe, Montreal, or somewhere else
I've already done the backpacking around western Europe thing twice already, and both times were fun, but I would like to try something new.

Seeing that the dollar is kind of weak right now, I was looking into East Europe, or Montreal, or somewhere else where the weather is good and the girls are pretty and friendly.

Montreal is supposed to have a lot of pretty girls, and same with East Europe, and I would like to experience something new and something affordable. My plans were for South America before, but since it's OUR summer and THEIR winter, maybe the weather is not right for traveling?? Your opinions?

Where is the ideal place to travel right now if you're on a budget and you want to have a lot of fun?

I grew up in Montreal. I don't get the hype, maybe it's just one of those things.. back then my game sucked ass

Unless you venture to the suburbs, you wont have language problems in Montreal. There's quite a few outdoors festivals happening downtown (hurry up, comedy/jazz/etc festival). The city isn't THAT cheap tho..

Anyway, it depends how exotic you wanna go. How long were you thinking? Im a fan of eastern europe. As mentioned in previous threads, there's a bunch of beaches and music festivals hit. What would I be doing if I weren't swamped with work? Sziget festival, exit festival, island hop in ex-yu, boat from varna to odessa, boat from odessa to georgia.

And about south america. Went to argentina last year in their winter. Love it. I dont care much for summers in general tho.

Yeah, I am living in Montreal right now, and in the summer here is the best place to be in Canada. I have never done the travelling here, but the cost of living is the cheapest in all of Canada. It is definitely a party city too, cheap bars, overpriced night clubs, a strip club every block, and a festival every weekend. But either way, a kick ass city.

As for eastern europe, it is a pretty bad ass place to travel. A few years ago I spend a summer (3.5 months) in Western Ukraine. Now you buck goes pretty far there, eight times in fact. The booze is cheap and so is the food. The women are some of the best looking girls in the world but I found them to be a bit conservative, and not many people speak english either. Half of my time was spent in Lviv, and the other half in a small village (dacha) doing small scale agriculture work. If you do go to anywhere in EE, get to the village, befriend a family, and it will be worth it. (think homemade perogies, fresh fruit and vegetables, and plenty of vodka.) I also did a week long trek in the Carpathian mountains in the south west (stretching into Romania.)

Just spent the afternoon at Parc Mount Royal. If you are coming to Montreal, come on the weekend and check out the tam tam.

These go every sunday, all afternoon and late into the night, always a good time.

Cuba extremely easy and you need 0 game, its vacation and sex needs to be easy. Along with new girl every night or twice a day in many cases! Cuba is not as good as a few years ago, but they have stricter rationing on food. Makes Women more likely to be hungry and will please for food. Buying them dinner usually gets you laid! Not into Eastern European Women, none seem to have a sense of humor--more cold fish, like screwing my hand! Montreal, grew up in Canada, and I'm against the whole forced dual language bull sh$t--Quebec needs to get the F4ck out of Canada............ Having said that. Yes, girls are friendly in Montreal, outside of the city--find the Women almost racist if your English Canadian or white American. Surprisingly the attitude in Montreal is much like Vancouver--Women in Vancouver are friendlier and I grew up here. Almost like my favorite American city--Phoenix is one of the easiest American cities to get laid in, its like a third world country, except American girls. But nothing beats Cuba--get laid just for giving a girl a little attention, some food (just like dating) except your guaranteed to get laid.................. Again on vacation needs to be extremely easy and available 24/7.......................................

A buddy of mine told me a story how he approached a 9/10 in Cuba. She told him that she'll go with him if he buys her a sandwich. He bought her a sandwich and watched in complete disbelief how she devoured it like she hasn't eaten in days. Needless to say he was very turned off after that and didn't end up sleeping with her.

This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. The girls outside of Montreal are not racist. On the contrary, I have gone out with an Indian friend, and myself (who speaks a fair bit of french, but chooses not to,) and we did quite alright. Usually people who can't speak a language automatically think that people are saying bad shit about them, this is compounded if it is your fellow countrymen. Or maybe you just had no game, and the girls just didn't like you eh? But hey, looks like you made up for your failures in the third world. And I know this isn't a political forum, or a history forum, so I won't go into how a federation works, or a consociational democracy, or the history of language in Quebec, but Quebec will (and rightly so) remain in Canada, but thankfully you got the fu*k out of Canada. Stay in Phoenix, where you belong, but let the Coyotes come back to Manitoba, where they belong.

Most young girls, especially in downtown Montreal will certainly speak English. There is a (slight) degree of animosity towards Bostonians, because they are all over here, no stop. There are also a lot of young new yorkers who come to Quebec to party (the drinking age is 18 here). So there is a tourist vagina pool to capitalize on as well, I have yet to venture into that, one reason is they all party on Crescent, which is just a bit more expensive.
