Vibe of Burlington: Very laid back and chill. Similar to Santa Monica

Cost of Burlington: Considering its a college town prices are kept low to make it college friendly. Pretty much all the jobs in the town are held by college students.

Where to stay: Anywhere near church street which is the main street with all the bars

Colleges: The University of Vermont (UVM), Burlington College, and Champlain College are located in this college town

Ratio: I was in Burlington after graduation so many had already left but the ratio seemed more women than men. I would say a 5-3 ratio FM to M

Nightlife: Burlington is one of those small towns where everything is on one street (Church street) this is where you would chill and day game, smoke at night, and pick up drunks after close. Its a bar town with maybe one or two small clubs. If you have good bar game this is your spot.

Avg age of women would be between 18-22, and many simply walk to bars from campus / apartments

Tons of house parties go on during the weekend while school is in session I'm sure.

Where to eat: Church street, as I said mostly everything is on this street

Ethnicity: I would say about 90% white, 5% asian, 3% middle eastern, 1% black, 1 other.with that being said, Burlington police are out and about all the time. So if your a brotha be ready to have eyes follow you unless you dress like Carlton Banks

Who should visit Burlington: If you in your early 20's and are good at house party scene.

Cougar Scene: I saw a few cougars but nothing worth going after. Might be different during session

Chance of success are very very high. I would suggest only going during the first weekend of school when everyone is out partying and trying to make friends. If your a pro at the college niche scene this is right up your alley.
Any recent Champ sightings?

Vermont is underrated. MY homie form Quebec goes there a lot and always says how nice and chill the girls are there. Plus Vermont is strict about food, no fast food really in the state, no outside advertising and shit the girls minds aren't as polluted there. I really like small City America. Way better then small Cities and towns in Canada.
Someone have more informations about burlington and nightlife there in this period ?
For some reason, when I was in college in California, we've had a group of like around 10 girls from Vermont, they all had amazing and big tits.
Well this is something I never expected to see on this forum....

I actually grew up in Vermont so I've spent considerable amount of time in Burlington. I feel like this thread is somehow trending with the presumption that Vermont is actually pretty good for game and women. Unfortunately I couldn't disagree with that notion more. But to each their own and it definitely depends on your type as well. So let me try to break down Burlington and some of the things people have suggested here.

UVM girls: Probably something like a 98% chance they are to be from New England, New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Most girls will be very liberal and the outdoorsy type. They will likely be very masculine in their ways compared to any European or Latin girls. Most likely 95% blonde or brunette white girls, of like Irish, Italian or maybe eastern European descent. Appearance isn't so important to people in Vermont, so this is kind of the general attitude, no one will go out of their way to really look that good. They probably are from middle class or maybe mid-to upper class families. They probably love the Boston Red Sox. Most likely brought up in communities where it's either cool to be the football or rugby playing jock, so they typically will trend towards athletic guys, but some will be more open minded and be into hippie guys or whatever their little niche is. But overwhelming majority of New England girls are into sports guys. Because they're young and in college they will probably still look pretty good until they're like a year or two out of college and start letting themselves go. Most girls will be from smaller towns so they do care what others think of them and what people will say about them since Burlington is pretty small and word will get around. But they will still try to party hard and get wild because they're young and inexperienced and on their own for the first time. Yes, most are probably laid back, not golddiggers or anything like that, but they kind of are petty in my opinion. They will probably be extremely intrigued by foreigners or people from completely random parts of the US outside of the north east — there's not really that much tourism in Vermont.

You'll also have St. Mike's (the private catholic college) and Champlain College kids in Burlington, but it's pretty much the same type of people that would go to UVM, maybe just not as well off. So pretty much the same for them.

Now, to directly address some things said here:

OP said the chances of picking up girls is very high in Burlington....I guess I could agree with that statement while college is going on, but personally if I had to rate what the talent there is, I would say 4-6's. Probably some 7s, but I really am not a fan of these small town / New England attitudes or personalities so to me that knocks some points off.

I can't believe people from Quebec of all places would be into Vermont girls. I used to go to Montreal pretty much as much as possible in the summers because girls are so much more feminine and pretty up there! Like they actually were trying to take care of themselves, which girls in Vermont really aren't all about. I would kind of agree that people in general in Vermont aren't so fucking crazy in the head like people elsewhere, Vermont does have good, genuine people. But there is definitely plenty of shitty fast food in the state. Girls from Vermont will not age very well. I dunno if it has anything to do with the food or the way they eat, but seriously, girls who were 9s in their teens are like 3s now in their late 20s. It's insane.

I guess it's all the dairy we drink in Vermont? I dunno. I remember some girls having great tits when they were in college, but they got pretty burnt pretty quickly during their college years and after. I guess the shelf life of Vermont girls is pretty short.

To expand upon the nightlife stuff a little bit, yes, Church Street really does have like 95% of the venues right there in it's vicinity.

-One place off Church Street is called Higher Ground, which is a concert venue, but it's a pretty good place for shows when they have em. Great place to pick up college chicks at.

-Red Square - one of my favorite places on Church Street. It's definitely more of a fall/spring/summer location because it's got some outdoor space, so it's obviously cold right now and during the winter. But pretty popular place with a decent crowd.

-Esox - a no-frills dive/skater bar a few years back. Not sure if that's still it's main clientel but that's where I was a lot. Think, snowboarder girls. Technically not on Church Street but right around the corner.

-Nectars / Metronome - right now to Esox, this is a place with smaller concerts and cover bands or random nights of really random events. Been to a wide range of shows and things at these places. I went this summer and Friday night was like salsa night - something I'd never ever thought I'd see in Vermont. I was super confused when I walked by and heard Colombian music. Unfortunately there were definitely no Colombianas or girls that rival them inside. But a cool spot, just keep an eye on the calendar for decent events. I think this is where lots of the hippy Phish/Dead cover band shit is at too, if that's your thing.

-Manhattan Pizza & Pub - a pizza place but with good music some nights. Kind of also a dive / skater bar but I liked it. Actually kind of more diverse than I'm making it out to be when school is in, I think, since it's a pizza place too.

-Ruben James - a little sports bar or something of that sort next to Manhattan Pizza & Pub. Usually a random mix of different crowds of college kids.

-But honestly the best advice is probably to just walk around the Church Street and Main Street area and see what looks like it's got the most going on.

I think I'm jaded cause I grew up on Vermont and my main objective in life was to get the fuck out of there and see what else was out there, but I do actually think Burlington is a pretty good small town. Hard for me to even call it a city because it's so small. But I had some fun hanging out with friends up there and crashing in UVM dorms and going to random parties with strange UVM students that were friends of friends. Definitely a unique place, kinda like Iowa or Colorado, but not as good or big.
Thank you for those informations , i live in MTL and planning to go see vermont nightlife (for just one night)

So far, between all the citcies i have been to in North America, Montreal is the worst in terms of girls. The highest bitch shield girls of North America are quebcoises.

So i agree that girls in montreal look more feminine but way more bitchy and way less thirsty.
For Vermont, the only thing i know is , in summer a group of girls i saw in a montreal club. I hesitated to approches because i thought they are Quebecers( so chances of rejections is very high), then i approched, one of them took me and start making out!! things that never happens with a Quebec girl with the same quality.

Do someone knows how is clubbing in vermont this period of the year (April) ? I am scared that clubs will be empty as it is a small city.
Just so you know, there aren't real "clubs" in Vermont. It's illegal to do bottle service in the state, except for champagne. So places are like bars or concert venues really. There is one place that tries to be a "club" in a Burlington called Rasputins but I don't know how it is these days or what their deal is. But since it's April and school is in until May it should a good time of year.
Burlington Vermont, the sister city to Santa Monica. Who knew? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting comparison OP. I am a believer in the "first week of school." I think this is a winning time to visit anyplace in the world with a heavy college influence.

I dont need luxey clubs and bottle service. I had enough of that in MTL.

I had enough of the high bitch shield i see every week end from even low quality girls here.

I dont care as long as there is a dancefloor , good music , chill girls , looking to have fun not looking for validation.
What's the weather like there? Is it a lot colder than New York?
New York City? Without question. Vermont is a popular skiing destination.

Finally someone telling the truth about girls from my city. Laval/Montréal is NASTY! Especially at Moomba/centropolis girls... even 5/10 big bellied flat assed girls that work 12$/hours look at you like you are a piece of garbage because you are '' only '' 5'10.

Wanna spend 40$ for a night and have fun with funny girls? Wanna tell you the secret! Victoriaville friday nights near the CEGEP are amazing! often 2$/beer lol! Wednesday its amateur night at the strip club... the cegep is like 3minutes walking... god it's get naughty lolol.

You've got bar le rebel in st-perpetue... saturday night... there's like 40 ( 20/20 Young and cougar ) there for the country dance lesson ( best nights ever ) and we laugh alot and the whole night is nearly cheaper then the entrance fee at the moomba lol. You can buy those country girl with a pitcher and the good thing is thoses farmer have NO GAME AT ALL. Just don't talk about your car/truck and you'll score.

You've got drummonville, lots of singing pub. girls are a little bit more classy there BUT there still really affordable! ( Add an extra 20$ compare to Victoriaville ).

Louiseville, 50minutes from montreal, lots of good night there too! Drink are cheap but girls drink ALOT there tho... la brassette is the way to go there!

Those are the '' 1 hour in car '' best place for you my friend!

Everyone living in MTL wants to leave this city , this is by far the worst city in North America.

Well i agree that victoriaville and drummonville are good , but i think veromont is better , American mentality.

But we can do plans if you want, i am down to leave MTL every week end and have fun even if it is 40 or 50 dollars more.

I am going to Burlington Tomorow with a freind, we have some places left if you want to join , it is pleasure. we will go back the same night after party.
Any good tips on traveling to and around the Lake Champlain area?

I imagine one can only get limited views of the lake from the Burlington, VT side. Are the mountains & better views closer to the Plattsburgh, NY side?

Like ones in this video?

I'm interested in visiting one day. Thanks guys!

For a split-second, I thought I read "flat-bellied big-assed" and was intrigued to learn more about your fine city…
