I stayed in a condo almost opposite sawasdee hotel. Great location, soi 8 has 7-11s and a couple good restaurants (recommend eat at Monsoon and Viva) . You are a short walk from the bts and soi 11 is opposite.

Welcome to Bangkok traffic my friend hah. It can be 15 or 50 minutes away, but it isn't too far. You won't be walking anyways.

Soi 8 is actually a pretty nice soi, it's just too bad it's so close to soi 4. The last time I walked down it about 1.5 years ago I was surprised, it was kind of like an oasis in a desert of hookers and chaos.
Anyone looking for a wingman or just chat over a beer?

I've been in Thailand 4 months, now staying in BKK, Asoke area till end of August (returning after a month) ...

I know only Thai girls here and when I go out with them the chance of meeting a new one is obviously under zero. Going out alone is fine, but it's always easier here in group.
Been a lurker on this forum for a while but I just changed to Bangkok after being in Vietnam for over a year and having a lot of success there.

Unlike Vietnam there's a fuck load of girls on tinder here, I'm scared to swipe yes any more because it always seems to be a match and I've already got a few dates lined up for next week.

Can anyone give the low down on what kind of girls these are? Pros, normal, serial white man daters?
Tinder girls are mainly normal with a few farang hunters and sluts mixed in.

Decent place for a haircut. Not as good as the 100.00 haircuts i get in u.s. but was alright. I'd actually like to find a better place if anyone knows one that's top of the line. costed about 600 baht.

I'm up for it.

I pm'd you my contact info. Others wanting to go out message me I'll probably be up for meeting up sometime.
I seem to have about a 75% flake rate on Thai friendly so far over a couple of weeks of being on the site.

I knew it would be high, but this was higher than I had anticipated. Any recommendations?

I've been trying to get them on the phone but usually the connection is pretty bad on their end.

The good news is I have my LINE and thai friendly / thai cupid accounts stocked up with messages, so there's definitely some upside going on here.

cheers!
Sent you a message, I'm up for a meet too.

I've used Thai friendly in the past for short times when I've been in BKK and I I tend to ask for their Line in the first message and chat a bit on there, then arrange the date.

Out of the 3 girls I met on there I banged all of them on the first date. One of them had been out partying with friends and turned up at my hotel wasted lol.

I've got probably the best haircut ever at this place.
Thanks for the tip on the barbers, I had a terrible haircut here a couple of weeks ago and cost me 1000 baht too.

Had my first date of the tip today with a girl from Tinder, university student and pretty cute. Had a coffee then went for a walk intentionally towards my hotel and the rest was easy from there.

How did you transition from walking to convince her to go to inside your apartment?

Were you already getting some escalation before you went up to the apartment?
Honestly I just asked if she wanted to check out my place, no real escalation before that. She thought I was a shy guy which to be honest I've found that to be perfect game in Asia.

If the girls think you are shy then they trust you and don't think you are a "playboy".

I can confirm that. I had multiple girls who called me an asshole when I was texting with them (I used to be too cocky when texting with Asian girls). Then they met me and all of a sudden I am not that asshole any more but a calm guy who doesn't come across as a playboy.
Being a "shy guy" isn't the way to do it. Don't be shy, just don't treat them like you would most American girls, unless the girl starts in on you first. There are quite a bit of westernized Thai girls who need to be gamed more like an American chick, but in general just be confident and don't be an asshole.

Acting shy is going to make you lose out on a ton of girls. No girl with a high value is going to want a shy guy. You need to escalate on dates to build attraction. Basic game doesn't change just because you're in Thailand. If the girl is willing to go straight to your room with no escalation, she probably doesn't have many guys of any value chasing her. The more high value men a woman has to choose from, the more work and tighter your game is going to have to be. Going on a date and acting shy isn't going to get it done.

And all girls like "playboys", even Thai girls who say they don't.
I'll be in bangkok on Friday, going to be good.
We went to Demo in Thonglor with CocoBoy yesterday.

Great music to my taste, but really loud. Difficult to talk but the girls were super friendly. Got a lot of contacts

Anyway the guys were not so friendly, we got beaten up when we walked out of the club. Poor CocoBoy had to get fixed up at hospital.

Really? What happened?
We don't know

We walked out of the club and bunch of guys stopped us.
I don't remember exactly what happened - being drunk & get so many hits to head doesn't help either Smile

I just remember telling the guy "we did not do anything" and then I got hit. The girls helped to get into taxi and took us to hospital.

Maybe we talked to someone we shouldn't... Or it was related to those 2 girls we went out of the club. Or just wrong place at the wrong time.
Typical coward Thai guys.
How many guys was it?

I've never had any trouble, but I can see that happening occasionally. Did you guys approach a table with girls and guys?
Places like Demo/Funky/DND or Rachada 8 are quite local places and some Thai people don't like foreigners there. So beware cause at the latter location guns/knifes and drunk locals seeking for trouble are not uncommon. Despite Thailand's reputation of being a quite safe country I've heard some stories of farangs getting fucked up.

Best thing is to go there with Thai friends (you need the social proof for the hottest girls anyway) and play the game like the locals do. Descrete social circle game plus avoid fucking with the wrong guys, since some of them have connections to people who can seriously harm you. Better get a number/Line and game the girls the next day. Still, keep yourself out of trouble and don't date chicks with high status boyfriends. That greatly decreases the risk of serious trouble.

10-15 guys, very cowardly, just seemed to happen out of nowhere all of a sudden in the car park.

Definitely seems better to go to the local places with Thai friends, especially since a lot of the girls couldn't speak much English anyway. Our game wasn't particularly discrete, we talked to quite a few people so probably talked to the wrong ones, lesson learnt there.

I took a lot of blows to my head and body, just about over the concussion now. Thankful it wasn't worse.

The Thai police were surprisingly helpful but not expecting much to come of it.
Did the police arrive at the scene? Did you have to pay to file a report?
CoCoBoy & JJH, Good on you guys for posting about the unfortunate incident, you guys could have wrote a bunch of BS up but told it like it is. This is valuable information for guys that don't have a grip on night game in BKK. In return hopefully others that are not so familiar with the BKK scene will learn from you guys. Nice breakdown Randolph...
