Disney is going to be make Blade likely into a Muslim:

"Allahu Akbar you filthy infidel white supremacist vampires!" The wokeness at Disney continues. Because what you truly needed was a Muslim Blade getting all woke instead of just a cool black guy having a great time.

I think a muslim would be well placed to take on the blood-sucking parasites plaguing America.

He could also kill some vampires too.

I would love to see how they confront the fact that vampires is a christian thing. Either they have to acknowledge the religion or do something twisted.

This movie is one of the final attacks on the front that is still somewhat standing in America. The left has went after our family and destroyed it. They went after heterosexuality and destroyed it. They went after our traditions and tore statues down. And with none of those obstacles in the way, our children are now laid bare for any and all attacks. The moment they get our children, they win.

I watched the trailer. I really hope I live long enough to see the people who did this to our culture get the reckoning they deserve.

I just finished watching Clint Eastwood's 'The Mule'. It was a really fun film with a killer soundtrack. The story is pretty simple: a 90-year-old man becomes a drug mule for the cartel. Clint Eastwood is still a beast. Even in his advanced age, he still hasn't lost any of his charm. Good movie for men to watch if they're afraid of growing old.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was quite a movie. It's more of a sit down and just relax kind of movie rather than trying to invoke anything meaningful, which is fine.

QT brings some amazing performances out of actors, even the little girl was awesome. Leo and Pitt nail almost every scene they're in. Robbie does a great job but she doesn't have an interesting plot (in the context of this movie, not history).

But, there are huge sections of this movie that are pointless. They don't drive the plot at all. Then, toward the end, QT relies on exposition to set up the final act because he knows the plot wasn't headed in that direction naturally.

Supposedly, Harvey Keitel is also in the film, but I did not notice him in the trailer.

Speaking of Martin Scorcese, Robert DeNiro, and Harvey Keitel, I watched "Mean Streets" last week. I had not seen the film in over a decade. It still holds up well. DeNiro and Keitel look like kids. Great sound track.

I know I should be able to separate the Art from the Artist, but I'm only human and I just can't stomach watching DeNiro films anymore. Was a big fan back in the day too. I could quote from 'Cape Fear', 'Taxi Driver' (who can't quote from Taxi Driver!) and Midnight Run. Midnight Run is one of my top ten faves as well, so Bobby has really messed things up for me with his big mouth lately.

To be fair, it's not just his political views (as disgusting as these are), it's the fact that he's now just a gurning parody of himself. The memory of his later performances now sully any of his old movies whenever I watch them, tarnishing them permanently. A bit like I can't even watch old Star Wars movies anymore.

RE: The Movie Thread
I was browsing last night on Netflix and this new movie with Chris Evans: "The Red Sea Diving Resort" was all over Netflix. I liked Chris Evans a lot in Snowpiercer and we watched the first 10minute until I had immediately to quit the Jew Netflix propaganda.

Why?

The movie is based on "true-life events" featuring Mossad agents rescuing Jewish-Ethiopians from Sudan to Israel in 1984.

The moment I had to immediately turn off the TV was, when Chris Evans said something like: "In the past, the Jews were haunted and now just like us in the past, the Ethiopians suffer the same cause and we are here to help them".

Speaking of Keitel, a couple of months ago I went back and watched Bad Lieutenant for the first time since I saw it on VHS sometime in the 1990s. I've rewatched it several times since. What a great movie, although I think you might need to be a Roman Catholic to fully appreciate it.

Bad Lieutenant and Taxi Driver are good bookends to the cinematic depictions of the bad old days of NYC. Maybe expand it further to include Death Wish and Kids if you really want to get wild.

And who can forget this scene!!! Idea Icon_biggrin Laugh As I recall, it was pretty controversial at the time, and even led to an NC-17 rating (the soft version of rated X).

A reminder, about 2/3rds of the way through Bad Lieutenant, I realized I had yet to hear the Schooly D song that interpolates the Led Zeppelin song "Kashmir," which is repeated throughout the movie. I looked it up and it turns out that Jimmy Page successfully sued to get the song taken off of the soundtrack! So track down a VHS copy if you are able to. It's a movie that deserves the VCR treatment anyway...

Mean Streets is a great, great movie. Very Catholic. I think Martin Scorsese was still feeling guilt over not becoming a priest when he wrote Mean Streets. A Bronx Tale is another classic movie in a similar vein.

I remember when Menace II Society first came out. A lot of people thought it was a ripoff of Mean Streets. I disagree. Though there are many similarities, Menace II Society is a great film on on its own merits

Hmmm, let's just wait and see, shall we. Just had a look at the IMDB Full Cast List and we've got;

Nabhaan Rizwan
Gabriel Akuwudike
Ibrahim Majid (British Soldier)

All fine English names of course. No way Sam Mendes will be missing this chance to stick a message for the plebs in among the action. I anticipate a 'Darkest Hour' type 'train scene' or two (those who've seen it, know what I mean).

A quick reminder that Ernst Jünger's Storm of Steel, his account as a German soldier during WWI, is one of the finest books ever written about any war.

From what I remember, Jünger had a great deal of respect for the English troops, of whom he killed many. On the other hand, he was mostly disgusted by the French troops, especially how they complained after being injured! Laugh

I realize that this is an advertisement, but it is a great sentiment for those of us that are of European descent and have an aversion to anymore brother wars:

And the best part is that many Israelis regret that saving of "Jewish-Ethopians" since they are doing riots now and are constantly complaigning about the racism of the gaps. But they won't show any of that - it will be portrayed as a true egalitarian multi-racial eldorado despite being essentially an ethno-state now (it's not one, but it has the policies established that will make it so ever more in the future).

I needed a healthy dose of ear bleach after that listening to that garbage. I listened to Heart's live performance of "Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Center honoring Led Zeppelin. Note Jimmy Page's unrestrained joy while listening.
