How did this effect me?

I felt the most underconfident I've felt in a long time. I've never felt so insecure, anxious and weird, since I was a youngin' in high school.

I felt like I wasn't worthwhile for other women, and kept avoiding many situations with them.

I felt like I didn't have the confidence or motivation to do school work, construction work, or even hobbies I normally enjoyed. I was more interested getting my next fix of masturbation, or reading articles that had nothing to do with anything.

And lastly, and the worst, was that I started to become very feminine in my interactions, and mixed with my anxiety, made me feel even worse.

For lack of better wording, I over did it on masturbation, and felt like I temporarily lost my manhood.

I've gone back to only having sex (not watching porn) and abstaining from jerking off, and if I feel like I absolutely have to, it's in the morning and there are no visual aids. I feel confident, outgoing and motivated as fuck, and when I bust loads, they are fucking huge. I am still taking my magnesium pills and taking my creatine, but I'm just abstaining from jerking off hardcore even though both seem to have made me feel really horny lately.

Now, I'm not certain of the science behind why I felt so fucked up during my mass-masturbation time, but, I know how I feel now, compared to then, I felt the most effeminate I've ever felt. This is a hard lesson I am not taking lightly.

Aside from Route and just a bit off topic does any one have any experience with lifting, bulking, and trimming fat as a result of NP/NF. I've been out of the gym for a minute and I'm trying to get back in it. I've got some pretty decent OTC hormone stimulants or what ever T-bomb is and I'm ready to get back in. I used to abstain for a week or two at a time when I was at my best but that never really gave me much in the way of evidence to go on. It always just kind of seemed like it would add or at least not release any testosterone. So long term is it beneficial to the extent that it can create a short cut to my previous self? So basically me..myself.... I can go days without FAP, but then once I cave in and Binge drink for a night...the next morning, not that I'm craving it or anything, but I always seem to cave into FAP...

Is it because my mind isn't sharp? I'm hungover and believe like I cant feel any worse so why not jack off?

I feel SO much better and outgoing when EVEN 2 days off of both! its totally noticeable

Day 112 of no porn.

I did this whole nofap-thing for 30 days and it was an interesting experience that, I think, every man should make at least once for a while. But at the end of the day, I didn't see too many benefits from abstaining completely from it and it feels just unnatural for me to forcibly cut out the only form of sexual pleasure that I have, now that I've been in a dry spell for seeks weeks. My masturbation patterns are different, though. In these days, I fap four times a week, tops, mostly to get rid of my morning boners and I don't fantasize about porn while doing it.

Bottom line: Stop watching porn. That is crucial, for sure. Surprisingly, I didn't have any cravings to go back to redtube and all this shit. I couldn't imagine anything more pathetic now than me sitting huddled in front of my computer and jerking off to Jenna Jameson getting pumped in the anus by three different dudes.

Further benefits:
- Better sleeping patterns
- More productive during the day

I used to wonder about this myself. Why is it that every time I have a wild night and drink to much the next day I get horny. Sometimes I don't even feel that horny but I would fap 3 or 4 times (way more then I normally would in a days time)
The answers I found are that your body loses and uses a lot of hormones and testosterone when you drink heavily. The next day your brain realizes your levels are low and produces the chemicals in a high amount to try and get your levels back in the normal range. Ofcourse when you get that flood of testosterone and other hormones you tend to want sex or fap.

I think one way to stop fapping is to start living with a girl. I am kinda living with my girlfriend at the moment and I am just not masturbating at all, I don't even think about it.

I've read about this no fap stuff a while back on a bodybuilding forum. I decided to go at least 2 weeks by completely deleting all porn on my computer (except my own homemade ones). Well, it's been 2 months since then and I still haven't fapped. I can attest, it's way more positive than negative.

I feel so clear, alert, driven, and creative. I like to draw on my spare time, so this only makes it more apparent. Before,when I use to fap 3-4 times a week watching porn, I would have these small bouts of anxiety and a small pang of insecurity. Now, I'm no where near feeling that way. When I experience a failure or setback, I simply say, "Oh well, whatever. On to the next one." Before, I would question everything that went wrong and hesitate on making a move the next time.


When it came to women, i instantly felt sexually charged to her (granted that she's at least cute) and I escalate faster in the interaction.

Case in point: Two weeks ago, I went out to a club with some friends just to check things out. I started talking to some chick, and the conversation went sexual fast. I honestly felt like that was me being natural. At some point, she said she was a dancer so I grabbed her hand and told her to prove it.

Now, I'm the kind of guy who didn't like to dance before, but this time I went with it effortlessly. After grinding with her, she commented on my moves and said if I wouldn't mind taking her home. We bounced and I later ended up banging her at her house. Granted, I did nut quick but whatever, it comes with the territory.

Every man should at least go 2 weeks on no fap. The benefits are worth it.

I have to say I'm conflicted on this issue
There's benefits for sure, like increased energy and focus (when you can take your mind off sex, that is)
And no question I am getting more interest from women in general, even random women stopping to talk to me on the street
This is probably partly due to my being more alpha/less beta than before but I'm sure it's also to do with the NoFap thing
But the flipside is that unless you're getting tail on the regular, sex is almost always on your mind, and that's a major distraction, not to mention bloody frustrating!

One interesting sidenote I should add is my voice, it seems deeper now
I've always had a slighty deeper voice than the average (Irish) guy, but it seems a register or two lower since I started doing the NoFap, and this I'm sure helps when it comes to women, cos subconsciously at any rate, women tend to like guys with deep voices
Another thing is even after breaking the NoFap thing for a couple of days, it barely made a difference to my voice, and a day or two later, it was back at it's proper deep level again, probably cos my T-levels are getting back up again swiftly, with this, better diet, sleep, exercise, supplements, etc

Thought I would update as it's been a while.

No Porn has immensely improved the quality of sex and BJs. 0% doubt about that. I am not planning to go back to porn. I think it's a pretty much closed case.

The jury is still out regarding No Fap. Mostly positive though. Some things I've noticed:

- NF gives you more "masculine energy" (the test level boost I assume) but the outlet itself will depend on you. It's not some golden bullet for game but it could help your motivation. In my case, I have been smashing it at the gym and feeling MUCH more ambitious about my career. Instead of settling for my current situation I have been exploring my options more aggressively and started to upgrade my wardrobe. Others may put this energy towards gaming girls or other pursuits.

- Feeling more competitive than usual. Again, this must be the testosterone.

- It's nice to bang a girl 2-3 times and still feel capable of going for more. It's like you have more fuel in the tank instead of feeling depleted all the time.

- The girls I'm dating are acting more submissively than before. Shit tests are becoming pretty much non-existent. One girl who was on her period blew me 3 times in one night and has been cooking, cleaning my clothes...you name it (OK this IS Japan but...). With NF you feel more masculine so this is may be the natural balance of things.

- My acne on my back that I've had for years has almost disappeared. I know this sounds like BS but it's true. One of my regulars commented on it. Haven't changed anything else in my lifestyle but have no idea why this would be related.

- The effects seem to become more subtle over time. For the first few weeks things were haywire but eventually you get used to feeling this way. Again, I think this is hormonal.

- One possible downside is that I could see myself orientating more towards LTRs with this. Instead of porn, you become more addicted to real pussy. Unless you are out there getting new prospects, you could very well find yourself more reliant on the girls you have at the moment. This is one thing to bear in mind for the single guys.

I can see the advantages of this challenge and agree with the fact that watching porn is bad for the mind.

But how do you guys really manage to succeed? If I have a girl coming over every 1-2 days, then this is fine and no big deal at all. But sometimes I only have time to see a girl every couple of days and without a release it just drives me nuts and my concentration is pretty bad for the whole working day. This means that I have to work even more hours, which means less time for girls.

I am also doing meditation and working out daily, but this does not help.

Needless to say I think I've fallen into a minor depression. My weightlifting goals have stalled and I struggle to get out of bed every morning or sleep less than nine hours a night. I have trouble maintaining a conversation with anybody, or being interested in anything, even drinking and smoking. It's pretty fucked. I'm not sure what's going on. My guess is that it's SAD + porn withdrawal.

Depending on how long you've been using, and I'm talking from personal experience being a user of 20 years since the age of 8 on a daily basis, the depressions I've suffered while ceasing usage have varied from extreme black depressions to semi-pleasant melancholia, but the good news is it clears at around 30 days, and then if you continue your no-fap streak, it can return at various times depending on your current state, stress levels, and diet. Everyone happens to be different with their reboots, but this happens to be my own personal experience, so do take it with a grain of salt. My longest streak was 109 days and I kick myself for indulging and rubbing one out. I've rebooted at least 20 times in the past year and a half. It's an uphill struggle, broski.
