WTF is wrong with the Spurs? From being masterfully dominant in he first 2 games to being toyed with in game 4? What a turn around! It surely cant be due to just one player being added to the game.

My my what do we have here. This looks like 2012. Like I keep saying the Spurs can't beat a healthy OKC team, especially in OKC.

RE: The NBA Thread
Heat haters better hope OKC's success against the Spurs these last 2 games is a mirage. OKC is tailor-made for the Heat. Spurs will beat the Heat.

The Heat's kryptonite is ball movement. Their swarming defense just takes up way too much energy. With Scott Brooks running the show in OKC and their offense prone to stagnating, the Heat will walk right through an OKC sans Harden.

Been saying the same thing all year and you are 100% correct. As a Heat fan I do not want to see the Spurs in the finals. But now that Ibaka is back the Thunder have a shot. I just wish they didn't spot the Spurs those first two games haha.

Hell yea, check this out:

$15 All-Time NBA Team Challenge

This is easy as hell.

Magic - $5
Michael Jordan - $5
Durant - $2
Kevin Garnett - $1
Shaq - $2

Unbeatable. Garnett and Shaq particularly are huge bargains.

Why are ringless Malone and Barkley worth more than Tim Duncan? And why isn't David Robinson listed among the centers?

No. You went for too much front court/perimeter splash and not enough nitty gritty efficiency ansd front court dominance. - Defense wins championships.

Walt Frazier - 1$
Jordan - 5$
Pippen - 1$
Duncan - 3$
Russell - 4$ OR Wilt - 3 $ OR JABBAR - 5 $

RE: The NBA Thread
Isiah $3
Jordan $5
Lebron $5
Garnett $1
Hakeem $1

Assuming they're all healthy and can put aside personal differences.

Isiah is the floor general, making sure everybody is happy and getting their shots. Jordan is the primary scorer, Lebron is the utility guy that does everything the team needs, Garnett is the defensive anchor, Hakeem is the post player and rim protector.

Never mind the offense, that lineup would be damn near impossible to score against. Fill the rest of the roster with shooters and they'd be unstoppable.

Closest thing we'll ever get to this is the 1992 Dream Team, and the 2012 Olympic team to a lesser extent.

I do worry about defense a bit, but Garnett is just about the perfect team defender. What I AM afraid of with your team is Pippen would absolutely shut down KD. If KD struggles against Tony Allen, Pippen might hold his ass scoreless. But your team has 0 3-point shooters.

Offensively the team has everything... the best PG and SG ever, plus a great shooter, interior low-post dominance, plus effective mid-range w/ KG when Jordan wants to work the post (like a super Chris Bosh).

Also, ridiculous stat from the Game 4 Spurs-Thunder game:

Russell Westbrook had more points, assists, steals, and FT attempts than the entire Spurs starting lineup combined eek

Crazy series, Spurs are a bipolar team but I still think they'll win in 7.

Creepin, you should switch Michael Jordan for Jerry West and Shaq for Bill Walton, and you have the Donald Sterling All Stars.

This is tough and there are really a lot of combinations that could work.

I have to have Micheal and Lebron on my team so..

1. Isiah
2. Micheal
3. Lebron
4. Garnett
5. Hakeem

= 15

Coach: Phil Jackson or Pop

*****

Hakeem is the most undervalued player on that list!

Karl Malone is the most overvalued. Duncan should be the #1 power forward.

Wade should be ahead of Drexler.

*****

Lebron rarely bites his nails anymore!

He finally reached supreme confidence!

That should be a lesson for all of us.. It takes a few years of hard work and dedication to to truly become confident at what we do.

$5 on Kobe and eat lunch with the rest of the money.

He won't pass the ball to the others, so why spend the cash?

Russell

Put Dirk instead of Duncan because of his shooting, Russell is the boss, Lebron is batman, Wade is robin, and Stockton would win a ring. Plus I saved a buck.

Magic Johnson - $5
Michael Jordan - $5
Scottie Pippen - $1
Tim Duncan - $3
Hakeem Olajuwon - $1

People forgot how good Hakeem was. Timmy for $3 was a steal. He is easily the best power forward to play the game. Those two also have the best footwork the game have seen.

The other three explain themselves.

Russell - 4$ OR Wilt - 3 $ OR JABBAR - 5 $

Mine is still the best. Here's why :

1.Russell (wilt and KAJ) would dominate Hakeem Defensively - make him inefficient
2. Duncan is consistently superb and efficient on both ends: he doesn't have Dirk's range offensively, but this team wouldn't need it.
3. Scotty could guard anyone anytime: so could Jordan and Walt.
This perimeter group would hold down any other grouping defensively.

-The only x factor: Lebron. In a pinch put Russell on him and make Duncan guard the center.

Offense would not be the issue in this competiton. It would come down to Defense, Tenancity, and competitiveneness. (Scotty and Jordan could knock down threes when open.)

Here's why: Walt "Clyde" Frazier:

6 ft 4 in 200 lb (91 kg)

"He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team in 1968. He was an NBA All-Star seven times (and was named MVP of the 1975 NBA All-Star Game), was named to the All-NBA First Team four times, the All-NBA Second Team twice, and the All-Defensive First Team seven times. With Frazier, the Knicks captured the NBA championships in 1970 and 1973.

Won 2 NBA championships (1970,1973) with the New York Knicks.

In 1987, Walt Frazier was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame along with Pete Maravich and Rick Barry.

In 1996, he was elected to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.

LOL, Lance Stephenson cracks me up, he's such a troll. I do think he got under the skin of LeBron in Game 5 a bit, but he's gotta stay focused on winning the game instead of creating individual battles.

With Bron in foul trouble for most of the game (a lot of those were bullshit calls too), he couldn't get in rhythm and didn't help his team much. But even with his foul trouble, it took Paul George hitting impossible shots and putting in 37 points to win a home game by 3 points. I think the Pacers are going to get blown out in Game 6, and wouldn't be surprised if LeBron goes off for a crazy game.

I hope I'm wrong though.

I was also shocked at the turnaround. Ibaka is crucial - he provides balance on offense with the jump shot so the Spurs can't collapse on Westbrook and Durant. And he anchors the defense and takes away many of the Spurs easy buckets.

The Thunder actually played well this year without Westbrook because Reggie Jackson can run the offense pretty well, but without Ibaka they are done.

All time crazy starting 5:

Sg: vernon maxwell(or stephen jackson?)
Sf: metta world peace
Pf: dennis rodman
C: boogie

Did I miss anyone? There'd be a brawl every single game.

I'd also pay to see Lance and Javale McGee on the same team.

I love Lance. When Ray Allen describes your antics as 'buffoonery,' you're doing something RIGHT!

PG - Walt Frazier
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - KD
PF - Duncan
C Abdul-jabbar

The rewards I see from working is what made me an addict.
There's way more people that want it than people that have it.
