RE: Things losers say
"I can't wake up early because of x"

Never met a loser who woke up early. In fact, I stopped being such a loser when I started waking up at 4 am.

"I need to ask x for permission"

I've noticed that compliance is always present among losers but not among winners. Losers will ask someone else, be it their parents, girlfriend, wife, etc. Winners seize the day regardless of what anyone else may think or say.

"I'll see"

Losers can never say no because they are too scared to.

Any excuse blaming an external entity

The best test of someone's integrity (which is usually resent in winners) is owning up to failure. Losers don't own up, they blame someone or something else for each and every one of their problems.

4 am? That's a bit too early unless you are waking up for work lol.

I learned this from Eric Thomas. Most people get up at 7 am. The earlier I get up, the more of a head start I have. The amount of work I accomplish by 9 am, when most people are just getting ready, is insane. By 10 am, I'm usually done with the day's work, be it office work or schoolwork.

This leaves me plenty of time to read, surf the net, listen to music and take leisurely walks throughout the day. Because I finish my work when most people are just starting their's.

Don't mean to sound harsh, but what is really the point of that? I am genuinely curious. If you are waking up at 4, I am assuming you are sleeping by 9 or 10 pm daily. Most people who wake up at 6/7/8 am sleep by 11 or 12. In the end you are getting the same number of hours during the day depending upon the number of hours you sleep. You can do the same activities later during the day regardless of when other people are finishing their work.

From the perspective of working I don't see the point either. Whether you are working a full-time job or running your own business, waking up at 4 am is not really ideal (unless you are working some early shift but that's obvious). If I remember correctly, you are in school right now. Are you only doing this before school starts? Also, sleeping early to wake up at 4 am might take away your ability to socialize with friends or meet with girls in the evenings or late nights especially during the summer.

I started doing this last year, in school. Didn't do it regularly, but I noticed a spike in productivity when I did so. I started doing it again this summer with my internship. I usually sleep by midnight, wake up at 4 am, do my work, take a long siesta after classes/ work. I get to office by 9 am, leave at 1 pm (its part-time).

The only real effect on my social life is that I can't get drunk as often because I cannot wake up early with a hangover to save my own life.

It's true, the adage early to bed early to rise holds true. I had a job that required me to come in at 7am and I was out by 3. I got a TON of work done.

It is and I don't disagree with that but 4am seems too early to me. Hey, if it works for you then it works for you.

"We're lucky to have a job in the economy..."

Also, saying "maybe" instead of yes or no when someone asks if you can do something, go somewhere, ect. Obviously in certain situations you actually mean maybe because you have to figure out if you're available or something, but maybe is usually used when the person wants to say "no" but doesn't have the balls. I do this shit way too much.

No you idiot. There is a single universal and common truth and you better find it out and not cuddle your stupid opinion that your ego wants you to beleive to feel better about yourself or face conseqences.

This is actually completely untrue. Objective truth doesn't exist in a lot of things.

The inability to tolerate a different opinion is a sign of a loser.

Truth teller, I agree Life is full of grey areas that are not clear-cut. Social dynamics is an area in which there are few universal truths accepted across sex, culture, and socioeconomic status. Men of wisdom recognize this and learn to appreciate other points of view.

What would be the things, where objective truth doesn't exist? Please note that matters where the objective truth is not known doesn't mean this truth doesn't exist.

Different opinons are fine with things that are not known for sure. But losers use the call to sanctity of different opinion all the time on things that are sure, but that they just don't want to admit. Unless we are talking about cutting edge science or some spiritual/religious stuff the truth is always known rather well.

There is another thing that losers say: "You must be tolerant" You must be tolerant to different opinions, tolerant to gays throwing their perversion to your face, tolerant to fatties taking up space, tolerant to every passive-aggressive behaviour if it is legal and so on.

Sorry, if you invoke any sort of call to tolerance you are automatically a big Loser anda passive-aggressive sleazebag in my eyes. A loser with a big L. I only tolerate things that are prescribed by nature for a man to tolerate. I don't tolerate your shit, Loser.

Losers start threads about being a loser and claim that not wanting to work a 9-5 job is for losers. OP, your second point makes you a loser.

Losers also say that they care more about a girl's personality than her looks. Personality is extremely important, but a girl's personality isn't even a consideration if she doesn't look good. Losers don't have the confidence to go for the types of girls they want.

You just contradicted yourself. Tell me, what is the best movie ever made? What is the proof for this? Who is at fault for World War I? Who was the greatest president in the history of the United States?

Are these questions where there's objective truth? No. These are subjective ideas.

You have the biggest sign of being a loser- an inability to tolerate someone who disagrees with you. Educated people can respect someone's opinion, even if he/she disagrees with you.

RE: Things losers say
I would say general victim mentality is an immediate red flag for me.

Most victim talk I hear is about somebody's family/childhood. And here is why it bothers me and i tune out.

Unless you’re amongst the tiny number of people with a perfectly functional family and an idyllic childhood, there’s a good chance you had some hard times growing up.

Here's what I believe: an awkward childhood and teenage period, family chaos and dysfunction is less often the exception and more often the rule.

It means were all in the same boat and you're not a special case just because your mother left you and you weren't popular at school. You're not a special case with family problems. We've all been there. So get on with you life, create things and get busy making the world a better place.

I would actually argue that the minority of people who had perfect families and childhoods are more messed up than the rest of us in adulthood.

I once read a quote somewhere: Family problems? Yeah, we all have those. You know what I call them? “So what?”

People who call you "cocky" for talking shit and bragging about your achievements. Winners laugh it off and get motivated, losers insult you and stay in their "safe space".
Another things losers do is play victim, all those English majors who demand bail outs for their student loans when a simple Google search will show you how that degree isn't worth shit are a good example.

A big one in Australia is
"It's not my fault that nobody is hiring"
To which my standard reply is "it is your fault that you're a un-employable sack of shit"

Another HUUUUGE one in Austalia, not so much a phrase, but just blaming everything that is wrong on the government. It has gotten so out of hand in the last few years. Fat? Gummints fault. Ugly? gummints fault! Broke? Fucking gummints fault!

The less fucks you give, the more fucks you get.

Quote:"Just be yourself"
Quote:"People should love me for who I am"

Both are just excuses for laziness.

Quote:"You're racist/sexist/homophobic/bigoted/mean/etc."

May have actually meant something once upon a time, but is nowadays just name-calling used by people who feel inferior, or who are losing an argument.

Quote:"This isn't who we are"

What the sheeple repeat when trying to guilt someone into supporting the latest policy designed to hurt middle-class Americans.

Quote:"I love everybody"

People who say this can actually be very hateful and venomous towards the people they don't like, but they hide it because they're afraid of conflict.

Quote:"I'm a cinemaphile", "I'm a sapiosexual"

Anyone who describes themselves with words like that is not worth your time.
