what a beast! that is definitely impressive for a ten year old, period! it's even more crazy because she's female. i have a feeling that she's going to be a dykey lesbian when she grows up though.

I thought to myself 215 is the women's record? Then I read the article. 215 at 97 pounds is pretty ridiculous.

Imagine what she'll be lifting at 25. This woman is a genetic freak. I wouldn't mind having kids with her, because you'd know they'd be strong as fuck.

It makes me sad to realize, though, that all of this heavy lifting at her young age is going to hurt her.

215 pounds is heavy for me.

215 pounds on a little girl is going to damage her growth plates or fuck her joints for life.

Fuck, I was hoping she wouldn't be American. Go figure.

How is this biologically explainable? Super muscle fibers or what? I mean, lightweight guys just above her weight who are at 5-10% body fat would still be hard pressed to lift that much. Has it been certified by some official organization=?

She's definitely a genetic freak. In pure bodyweight ratio terms, over 2x your weight on squat is very impressive, male or female.

How many guys do you know who weight only a little over 97lbs? Wow.

I squatted about the same when I first started free squatting as well, however I'm a 180lb male.

This was my first thought. Yeah its cool, but her parents are probably pushing this shit on her and its going to destroy her body. She'll be ruined by the time she's 18.

Because YOU don't agree with what she does, her parents must be forcing her to do these things against her will.

But aren't parents suppose to be introducing new experiences to their kids ? I'm a weightlifter and you wimps better believe I will be instilling my passion of health and fitness onto my children.

What type of parental values will some of you be instilling in your kids ? What will you do when clueless idiots thinks you are wrong for "pushing" your philosophies onto them ??

Im wondering if some of you think its wrong to push kids to compete in spelling bee's ? Is it wrong to teach your kids how to go fishing ?? Shoot a gun ? Learn how to run a business ??

Who are any of you to judge ?

You're right, parents should be allowed to introduce their children to heroin.

ha WHAT?!? I get what you're saying, but I really don't think straight lifting is really that horrible for children. Richard Sandrak was lifting pretty heavy (read that his bench press was 210 at 8 years old) and his parents probably gave him steroids starting at the age of 5 and at 16 he was 5'9". His father was also arrested for domestic violence. The real kind. Saw an interview of him from 2011. Seems like a pretty well-adjusted kid despite psycho parents.

5'9'' at age 16? Who know if he would have been 6'2'' instead?

And his physique is completely gone now. Most likely because his body couldn't handle the heavy training in the early growth years.
