Now I'm doing the only thing I have never done before, praying to God everyday and I don't have strong urge to fap anymore, the belief that you are always in the watchful presence of a benevolent being is very liberating and empowering, to say the least.

LOSERS are those people who fail over and over, never try different methods, and give up cause its "too difficult".

WINNERS are those people who fail over and over and over again, but keep insisting, keep pushing, and keep trying in many different ways, until they win big.

So don't give up.
Keep at it.
Use different methods until you find one that works for you.

If you need to pray several times in a single day, just to get through that 1 day or 1 night, then do it. It may get so bad, that you may find yourself praying so often that you may think that even God is tired of hearing from you, and even you may get sick of your own inner voice. Those are the crucial moments when your inner whining will stop, and your inner strength will grow most. You will reach a new level of power.

When that happens, remember to say thanks to whatever God you prayed to.

Still in.

Been feeling "meh " lately.

Two weeks yesterday. Waking up hard as a rock. Not missing the porn, even with daily use since the mid-80s.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ShotgunUppercuts - 02-09-2017 08:00 PM

Today I looked up flatline because I didn't know exactly what it meant though I had a good idea.

Guess that's what's going on with me now. I went to the grocery store and saw a girl with fat ass and I didn't even get semi hard,it was good to look at though. In turn this makes it easier to keep my streak going.

I'd like to step out this weekend and work on my approaching so maybe this could help with that also.

Stay up folks and remember.

If you hate starting over stop giving up.

I've finally got a few weeks of experimentation under my belt with The 5 G's for Big Erections. From my brief study I conclude that it works.

Erection quality is higher. This wasn't a problem for me, but I was watching a girl suck my dick and it looked noticeably wider. Refractory period has gone down, and performance has improved in bed. However, these could all bee due to my NoFap recovery (still going strong).

I can say for a fact that I am MUCH hornier when taking it. After 5 days of consistent use, I am ready to hump the floor if I had to. Monday night I banged my FWB twice then went to the gym...and I was still checking out ass like a 13 year old on his first Playboy.

I'm trying to figure out a good cycle that is beneficial but no negative side effects. Last week I got TOO horny during work and could not concentrate, which is rare. Reading the PEGym thread, the OP suggests only taking it 5-6 days a week to let the herbs keep their potency in your body. Major broscience, but I'm going to try it. Except I'm going to do something like Wednesday - Sunday so I can be horny AF over the weekend.

At this point I would suggest getting this, especially if you quit porn and STILL have ED problems.

I'm still in and today I recognized that I haven't tried my best to stop watching porn.

Last night I had a very vivid dream of porn and I woke up ready to blow,I calmed myself just in time to stop it but I'm sure I didn't have my hand on my piece so that was crazy for me.

2 months and 10 days in.

Also I have my phone block porn through my cell carrier,I have to find a way to do it through my house wifi also.

Day 1

Let's begin.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Vaun - 02-12-2017 01:05 PM

With the exception of porn, sometimes I think that fapping is our natural built in release valve. It cures anger, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc. Thats my own justification to keep doing it. The longest I have gone no fap is 6 days over the holidays last year.

Up until the last six months, I have never had any issues getting it up, other than some drunk dick or anxiety. Once I start having sex with a girl my testosterone and sex drive goes through the roof, if her and I are bang multiple times/week. At age 40, I can multiple orgasm, meaning, I can blow my load, stay hard and stay inside of her, then pump again for a short bit then blow again within minutes. With my most recent ex I would do this regularly last year, sometimes up to 3 orgasms in a row. She said she'd never seen a man be able to do this. My last testosterone check was 750, last spring. I take no supplements, aside from cal/mag/zinc before bed.

Lately though, I have had trouble getting it up with some women I am dating. Weirdly not with all of them. I think my problem stems from anxiety, and relying on fapping to alleviate some depression. Dealing with depression, can have me fap 2-3x per day. Once before bed, once when I wake up. At my age I am starting to see my libido dip. In the past as a young man I could be dealing with the most horrible PTSD inducing life event, and still be hard at the drop of a hat. I think those days are starting to wane. Now I have to seriously consider toning down the fapping.

I screenshot girls from Tinder a lot on my phone. I have my favorite porn stars. I am on my computer and phone basically 24/7. I know what my triggers are. Now as I am alone, I want to see if I can master this.

Day 1 2/12/17
If I slip, I will not use porn.
I will track no fapping and no porn daily.
I will delete the screen shots on my phone.
I will delete my dating apps and only approach IRL.

Thats my mission now. I will chime in occasionally for updates.

ORGASM and the steps leading up to it naturally release an explosion of hormones because God (or evolution, pick your poison) wants us to reproduce and reproduce often. Why does eating feel good? Humans are hard wired to enjoy fucking and eating. Everything we do is to meet those two goals.

Yeah man, I don't believe in any of that hokus pokus or mysticism, so I don't ascribe any deep seated guilt to it. That would be the furthest reason for me to do this. I haven't had any negative effects from it, so I am just willing to try it now.

To see maximum benefits - DO NOT EDGE
EVER.
Not a single stroke.

Make your hand into a hard fist every time you get that urge and keep it that way until the urge passes.

Apologies are in order for this question because I'm sure it's been covered in this thread, but given that it's 105 pages, a little TL;DR is justified.

Has anybody found any negative consequences/counterproductive effects from nofap + no-orgasm (different things, as you could have gotten laid) after two weeks or an extended period of time? I feel great right now on nofap and no porn at the two week mark (aggression, horniness, more action less thought, better boners), but I may not get laid until the 3-4 week mark with the way my current girl hustles are shaping up. I have heard that extended periods of no-orgasm has lead some to feel a dip or "flatline" in motivation, aggressiveness, mood, and even lack of approach desire, even though they experienced the initial high of aggression, confidence, and better wood during the first two weeks. In short, I don't want extended no-fap to affect my game or my performance once I close. I'm entertaining a fap without porn as a hormone "reset."

FYI no-porn is a keeper either way.

This is an excellent question and i do not have a definitive answer for you. I have heard reports both ways - one that long term nofap means your overall libido and desire for sex gets more muted. Other dudes say thats nonsense and that as soon as you see a hot girl in real life after months and months of nofap it comes rushing back and you approach with zero fear. My suspicion is that all ejaculations without a real life girl are bad for you, no matter how long you have been abstinent. Even without porn i cant see it giving you any benefit whatsoever. I have actually read those nofap self help books from 150 and 300 years ago that i posted about on the previous page and they say the same thing. No ejaculations without a girl - ever.

Also, im beginning to suspect that the elements found in semen which accumulate in your body when you don't fap react differently according to outside temperature and time of year. Meaning something like that its easier to do long term nofap in the winter, but really difficult in the summer. If this is true, then that would mean that we have been lied to about human nature and that humans actually DO have an official mating season.

We know that women's menstruation cycles follow the moon cycles very closely...so it would be no suprise if there are strong energy forces in nature we dont even understand that affect us more if we are full of sperm. Meaning that sperm is kind of an energy receptor and conduit for the male body and depletion causes you to lose all that "magic" power.

When you do long term nofap you find out what its like to be a woman with a cycle of both extreme horniness in certain weeks and then other weeks you have zero desire and extreme moodiness like girls have before they get their peroids. Honestly, nofap will really help you understand women's brain chemistry more cause you will feel similar highs and lows.

My advice to you is this:

Block all porn on all devices and do not fap for at least 90 days. Record your moods in a diary over those 3 months and post about it here. Once you reach the 90 days you can make an assesment of what you think is right.

Flatlines in those 90 days are normal and expected while your brain reboots. In fact if you don't have a flatline i would think you are cheating or taking chemical supplements like viagra which you should never do. Accept that you MUST have a flatline to heal the damage from lifelong fapping and porn. However, if this flatline extends beyond 90 days then i would look at other causes like diet, your job, your weight, social life, and any other addictions you may have. Getting rid of alcohol and all forms of non natural sugar and being a healthy weight will make you more horny for sure.

Interestingly scientists have found that a full production cycle of every single sperm (called Spermatogenesis) is somewhere between 70 and 90 days. Considering you release millions every time you ejaculate this would explain why the 90 day standard has been agreed up by thousands of men as a the best benchmark for a full brain and body reset.

Does anyone else catch themselves diverting to softer substitutes to porn? I keep doing youtube searches like "bikini contest brazil" and "sexy latinas booty shaking."

I haven't jerked it to any of these videos, but I feel like I'm cheating. Need to be more disciplined. Still, 1.5 months no porn.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Rhyme or Reason - 02-13-2017 12:49 PM

I've been doing this for the last week without even realizing it. Already a noticeable difference in my attitude. Porn is so fucking wac, every time I jerk it to porn I feel so fucking low. And that shit seeps into other areas of life. I'm going to refrain from fapping too. It was never a huge problem for me but it still feels better to not take the easy way out.

Yeah man, it is cheating.
Don't do that unless you want to keep failing.
No online softcore. No online profiles showing cleavage. No online sexy dancing. Nothing.
Not even erotic stories with only text.
The only girls turning you on should be real girls you see in real life which you approach.

Actually, masturbation, especially steady masturbation is major cause of depress, anxiety. Just think about it, you are sending unconscious signals to your brain '' look, this is one and only way of getting poison out. I just can't get laid, just be happy what you got.''

Scary stuff. What the hell is '' once before bed, once when I wake up. '' ?

I used to masturbate every three days (twice a week) and considered it too much. You really need to stop masturbation.

Hahaha, I made a no-fap challenge a week ago. It was what i done at my 4th day. I tried not to masturbate to these ''soft'' videos, but i eventually opened random porn page and fapped it. I think anything capable of turning you on must be eliminated and avoided.

By the way,

Day 2.

Feeling normal. Even though I stalked big butt women all day.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - malakaix - 02-13-2017 08:45 PM

I decided to give this a shot.

After 7 days of no porn/no masturbation i'm really beginning to realise how much I was fucking with my dopamine levels by doing it 1-2 times a day for years. I know it's only been one week but jesus.. the difference in energy and mood is noticeable.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Speculation - 02-13-2017 11:22 PM

Day 20:

I'm back on the No Fap bandwagon again after realising its contributing to my anxiety. I've also cut out caffeine and alcohol. I intend to abstain from all these things semi-permanently to permanently as I've been moving in this direction for a few years on and off. I want to see if I can build a lifestyle where I don't need any of these crutches to enjoy life.

The last thing I'll be cutting out (or at least down on) is computer time, but that's a story for another day.

I flat-lined for the first couple of weeks and I'm currently at the point where I barely notice hot women and don't automatically think 'I'd like to bang that'. I'm not worried as I'm an old hand at No Fap and have previously done 90 days without slips.

The tricky thing at the moment is catching myself in threads with WB images and being mindful enough to scroll past quickly rather than drink it in. No erotic stimulation except from real life women and even then I want to take a break from them in the first month or two. I've got some serious rewiring to do.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Vet-Boy - 02-15-2017 01:47 AM

Currently approaching month number 6 on febuary 19th.

I reluctantly edged a little less than a handful of times but i dont really count them as breaking the streak.

Looking to never fap again

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ExploringReality - 02-15-2017 06:17 AM

I'm on day 5, I wanted to break it since I broke my dryspell 2 days ago but then I remembered that NoFap probably had a lot to do with losing it in the first place (I was 1 week into when I made plans with the girl, which made me bold IMO). So stopping one of the things that has been helping me is a stupid thing to do. This is being hard, very very hard, but I'm positive I will do it.
