Thanks to some chick on there who asked me for critique on her appearance and then teasing me with some provocative pics and sexts I started to let the animal brain take over. When I looked at her post history and saw she had some nudes it was over for me. I tried fighting it for two days but the urge became too overpowering. Cutting reddit out for now and deleting any nsfw content I have saved. The struggle is truly real. Time to power through again.

COLD SHOWERS

If you can't shower, then at least put ICE COLD WATER ALL OVER YOUR HEAD AND HANDS.
Works every time i get too tempted.

Well I obviously can't take a cold shower every time Im tempted. I'll have to test out that ice cold water on the head and hands. Thanks for the suggestion! The temptation will come sooner or later so I'll let you know how it helps me.

Been trying on and off a few times. Time to get serious. My first goal is to not fap for a month. Started yesterday

Relapsed after 16 days. Gotta say, the BEST nut of my life. Shit lasted for a good 15 seconds and was out of breathe by the end of it.
For a while after; my dick kept leaking which was annoying too. That was enough to put me off for another couple of months.

Facepalm3

The your best nut of your life should never be by yourself.
That should have gone ON or IN a real girl.

^Amen brother, you read my fucking mind. Rain97, you have a LONG way to go. We’re here for you mate.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Rain97 - 12-28-2017 03:09 PM

Aha, I'm not too serious about this but I do realise that when I don't nut for a while I think a lot less and act way more.

There's no way to succeed in NoFap without the the strongest determination and seriousness. Your entire willpower as a man to resist temptation is put to the ultimate test.

Many dudes soon discover they can only succeed in NoFap with the help of deep prayer and faith every time they are tempted. Do not underestimate the power of some sort of religious belief in your path to giving up this most nasty & powerful of male addictions.

I once went 7 days without any food at all (only water) and even that was easier for me than giving up masturbating long term.

The weak man you are now, versus the strong man you could be, if you just STOP playing with your dick:

41 days since I fapped to porn.

Memories of porn slowly but surely fading away as my brain heals from overstimulation. Libido is not what it used to be, but when I have a real naked woman in front of me, I rise to the occasion.

I think this is the new normal. It's not titillating, it's not exciting, it's more like... ehh. And I only nut 2-4 times a week, but when I DO nut, it's very very satisfying.

Day 10.
Doing well so far, by keeping busy.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ShotgunUppercuts - 12-30-2017 05:00 PM

30 days.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Celestial - 12-30-2017 08:08 PM

Day 11, completely flatlined already. Emotions and libido are dead.

It's normal.
Be prepared for a long flatline.
Do NOT test your erections with porn.
Libido will come back when your brain is healed...the more brain damage there is the longer the healing takes.

F*ck, I never heard about that, thats good to know^

I've heard 90 days for a full reboot (in general, though more damage = more time needed), is it common for the flatline to be present this entire time?

90 days clean is the minimum for a full brain reboot.
Flatlines during that time can be short or quite long.

It really varies from man to man, and depends on various factors like what age you are, how many years you've been watching porn, how often you masturbated and at what age you started.

A flatline can be as short as 10 days or as long as 2 months or more.
It just depends on so many factors.

Bottom line:
There is no shortcut out of the flatline.

Just try to occupy your time in productive ways and stay away from triggers.
Never try to force erections during the healing process.

Damn, well I got tons of work to do so the timing is perfect. +1 from me

The Monkmode facebook group is really good.
I'd highly recommend watching Elisha Long's Youtube videos.

Unfortunately, I ended relasping at 11 days this Wednesday. But however, I realize I don't need porn at all as I have other things like meditation.

Relapsed at 16 days, it cannot be more said guys, don't do weed on nofap YOU WILL fail. Gonna jump back on the wagon again.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Zoso - 12-31-2017 11:08 AM

Curious.

I was doing weed last night and relapsed after 7 days. But it was after the trip, so I'm not sure if weed really affects NoFap.
