That's how it happens. After a week, and it can last months depending on severity. Been there. I had a week off from porn, then tried to fuck a girl. Couldn't get hard. I searched for an answer, and came across Your Brain on Porn. Did 200 days, fixed ED.

I need to do no fap to stop my self doubt.

Not gonna happen. It's not porn that's stopping you, it's other shit that's been conditioned in your head like anxiety, fear, etc most likely. I know because I did 200 days of nofap, and anxiety, depression, didn't improve. The only thing that was cured, was ED. That's what nofap is for = if you have erectyle dysfunction. For other shit, seek therapy or other kinds of help.

Almost slipped today...but ended up going for a 30 minute run with my gym buddy and that killed the urge thankfully.
Don't give in for 3 seconds of pleasure, it's never worth it. How many times did you relapse and afterwards think: "Wow I'm really glad I just did that"

Checking in here for the first time. Currently on day 9 of no fap, I haven't found it too difficult yet. I've been keeping really busy working on my online hustles + other productive hobbies which helps allot. Majority of the time before the new year I was jerking off out of pure boredom and that went hand in hand with very low productivity.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - sterling_archer - 01-09-2018 09:25 AM

I finished yesterday reading Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson. There is not much to say except this. If I had read the book earlier, I doubt I would have relapsed as many times as I did. Maybe even not relapse at all!
While this book does not give you instructions how to overcome urges, it gives you enough evidence about why you are using porn, what triggers it and what are symptoms following it.

Long story short, it is pure brainwashing. But you must read it for yourself to grasp all the concepts, how does everything revolve around reward circuitry, chemicals and media.
When you read everything and grasp why are things like that, you will have easier time battling urges. Because you will understand where are they coming from and why are they coming. Remember, it is fully natural to have this battle we have because we are/were victims of life long programming. I know it sounds weird or too hard to grasp but it is the ultimate truth. This is addiction, in its purest sense and not something to joke around with.

I mentioned on the previous page Alan Carr and his book easy way to stop smoking, as this book reminded me of it. Approach is very similar. Both Carr and Wilson are not giving you instructions what to do and when to do it. They simply educate you from start to finish. And when you get your "education" you will be automatically ready for the battles to come. Seriously, everybody should read this if they have not already.

14 days. When I took a piss yesterday I was thinking of sex and when I looked down my dick was hard all of a sudden. Not since I was 13 I experienced this. Can defiantly see the pros doing noporn and nofap.
Should've nut in a plate today but she flaked.

DO NOT look at porn and don't follow models on Instagram etc. Gotta remove temptation for the silly dopamine fix and focus on real women instead

Have not jerked off in 14 days and I am still fucking girls but my erections are not as strong as they used to be.

Also, I just had an instance where I could not get it up for a girl I had been fucking the past few weeks.

I also am not as horny as I normally am.....it's weird, I expected NoFap to have the opposite effect

Is any of this normal?

Yes. It's called the flatline. It's completely normal.

Thanks to reading this thread and all the associated links I have been off porn entirely since 1st January this year. To most of you, this will be nothing but to me it is a huge achievement, and I am not one to congratulate myself easily.

After reading Your Brain on Porn I made the link and realised just how destructive it all is, and how it was affecting me and my behaviour. I have never been a Casanova, but I was off of porn when I first started University and I was a lot more confident in women and my general relationships. As soon as I started regularly jerking it, sure enough it all went out the window and I was a miserable shell for 5 years, pretty well much up to where we are now.

Human's aren't meant to jerk and release watching some other dude fuck a woman you will never have access to, it subconsciously (and very effectively) rewires your brain pretty quickly to accept it as normal. And of course it is straight up degrading. I take no pride in admitting that I eventually only got off to the weirdest stuff, thankfully not cuckold porn but all sorts of things that is, put frankly not healthy. I even considered dabbling in transvestite porn (tranny on natural woman) for a bit but thankfully never took the plunge; even with all the weird stuff I had seen, I knew it was a step way too far.

Over the past two months I have slowly been cutting down my use and, perhaps more importantly, the weirdness of what I was seeing. I managed to rewire myself and limit myself to vaginal penetration only, then solo videos, and for the past 10 days nothing at all.

Like I said, ten days may not seem like a lot to most people but with me I have gone from jerking it three times a day at the start of November to chaste in 60 days. So to those of you who may think it is impossible to break the habit, temper your mind, and, perhaps more importantly keep yourself busy. There is a wealth of information here to help you in both these regards.

Thankfully I have a main girl on the side who is obsessed with me that I can call on to answer my male needs, and she has noticed that I am more confident in myself already and some of the social anxieties that I am sure are directly linked to my porn use have started to be fixed. I haven't told her I am doing this, but she seems to be even more obsessed with me than before. I have also noticed more IOI's when out and about and women catching glances to me wherever I turn, something I have never really experienced before. That is one of the most rewarding feelings.

It is a long ass road, but I am in it for the long haul.

The only downside at the moment is that I am not as erect as I used to be; however reading through this it should be fixed in time which is reassuring. It will take huge personal discipline to keep on this road, but after reading this forum and from the personal accounts, it will be worth it. Good luck to everyone else trying this also

Very interesting, thanks for sharing.....is their a general consensus for how long this lasts?

This is hell when I had 3-4 girls in my rotation and now I just have to swing open the stable doors and yell "be free!!!" because I can't perform

Flatlines can be as short as 1 week, to as long as 3 months or more, depending on your age and years of masturbation/porn usage. (Younger guys exposed to internet porn at a younger age, take longer to recover than older guys)
Most men are shocked when they realise how long they will have a totally dead dick, and the time that is needed to recover.
You are repairing REAL BRAIN DAMAGE.

Thank you for the post, I imagine I will be on the longer side of average, thinking at least a month, probably more

Crazy to me how much of an effect porn had on my brain and I didn't even know it

I'm not sure if the book has been posted in this thread yet, but everyone should check out Your Brain on Porn. This shit is pretty sickening when you think about it.

- ED
- Homo thoughts
- Psychosis
- Becoming more and more depraved
- Lack of interest in real women
- etc

Porn's fucked up, very fucked up. And to think that those beautiful big titties freaks are causing so much brain damage is concerning.

Everyone trying nofap should read YBOP and the chapter in Think and Grow Rich called "Sexual Transmutation". Both of those will keep you in check much more than sheer will power.

Yes.

The (((people))) who own and run most of the porn companies know this. If you look at the sort of porn they push on you now, it's really a lot more degenerate and violent than anytime in the past. They know it will take more and more extreme and depraved shit to make you get hard and keep watching porn over a number of many years. They are not only trying to weaken and warp your mind and soul, but change the racial makeup of children born today and in the future.

One of the many reasons I gave up porn, was that I saw the following types of videos becoming more and more common:

-Mother/Son, Brother/Sister, and Father/Daughter incest themes,
-shemales,
-transgenders,
-writing all over the girls body with markers,
-trapping girls for over an hour in extreme bondage positions with things that look torture devices,
-opening asses & pussies far too widely,
-giving girls electric shocks on their pussies,
-fake necrophilia (sex with girls pretending to be killed or dead),
-advertisements for games where virtual girls have sex with demon monsters
-inducing real vomiting with dildos.

From what I have read many girls performing porn are either addicted to painkillers, are alcoholics, or use a lot of hardcore drugs to cope with the pain.

Once a girl has done all the regular stuff, the only way she can keep making money is to do more and more extreme porn like some of the shit mentioned above. Often a girl will start a shooting a scene and the girl thinks she only has to do x and y, but they ask her to do z, and if she refuses they tell her they won't pay her for that film if she doesn't finish it. She phones her (((agent))) and he persuades her to go along with it. I can't imagine what state her body must be in when she tries to get pregnant one day and what kind of baby she will eventually produce after so many years of abuse.

There are other even more depraved things they could push on you, (such as bestiality) but don't simply because it's still illegal in many places....but they are working on changing that too.

You need to realise that this isn't just about money and physical control over young fertile girls and mental control over all men.

Quitting porn is also one of the main battlefronts of spiritual warfare.

This is one time I don't blame women. I think (((it's))) a quick push toward money which women are willinging going to gravitate towards. The increased depravity isn't on their wavelength. Lead, Lead, Lead. This is the same formula dudes have been using to pick up pussy for while. Lead, Lead, Lead to my bedroom, except it's been Girl, Girl/Boy, Boy Boy/Girl. It's the same tactic through and through.

Here are my thoughts

- Girls: Make as much money as you possibly can without corrupting your morals
- Guy on Porn: Stop, if you must ween, then use just girls. Don't look at dicks!
- Jews: Fuck off, your shit is obvious at this point.

I almost want to start a porn site about jew girls fucking blacks, indians, mexicans, etc and see what happens.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - sterling_archer - 01-12-2018 11:02 AM

Last night I had a wet dream but I knew today is not the day I will relapse. Why would I, of all other days, relapse today? Because according to Your Brain on Porn I am one of the minority that gets triggered by wet dream. Mechanism is practically the same. You get the dopamine rush, although not at the same level as woken up, and you cum because of the images that your brain produces. My attempts in past at this challenge became really difficult when I had a wet dream, and I relapsed couple of times because of it. Since I now understand the mechanism and am red pilled regarding porn, I haven't been tempted. No urges at all.

For the lolz, you know what I dreamed? That I was looking at porn and fapping. Unbelievable. After I suddenly woke up after ejaculation, I felt so relieved it was just a dream. I even remembered that I was in the dream angry at my "relapse". Can you believe this stuff? Luckily this was not a relapse, but it can show you that my brain still uses images from porn I looked even years ago against me. I consciously cannot remember these videos, but they were totally familiar during dream. Explains good subconsciousness and its effect.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Ethan Hunt - 01-12-2018 08:44 PM

Well after 12 days I used an image and I as done Back to the beginning. Out of curiosity. To what extent is images damaging. I assume damaging but less so when compared to actual videos. At least your mind has to work to some extent.

I gave NoFap a go again for this week and I'm proud to say I went for a week without it. Doing meditations a lot has kept me from doing it, but I don't feel the urge to fap to the things I fapped to anymore. I feel invincible for the first time and I don't have to hate myself for doing it.

Checking in. Accepting the fact I am actually addicted to fap/porn/sex stories, and will treat it as an addiction.

Anyone have experience going the addiction treatment/therapy route for helping this?

And please, none of that “lol just will it bro, mind over matter” stuff please. I need structure.
