One advice from me that I think it might help those who start first time or those who are struggling. I think counting days by yourself is a double edged sword. See, if you have some sort of diary and each day you put one number higher than previous one, or if you put some marks on calendar you are essentially doing two things.
If by one chance you only begun recently, you could get discouraged as you constantly see how there is a huge road ahead of you. If you have a long streak and suddenly fail, you will get mad as you will see how much you invested in it and ruined it. Your confidence will be low and it is not unusual to have chaser effect.

What I propose? To install nofap/noporn companion app (android) on your phone that tracks days for you. You simply put in day you started and you FORGET about challenge. You still know you are doing it of course, but you are not bothering yourself with how many days are you in it. You live a life aside this challenge. People tend to really immerse themselves into this challenge and their mind is constantly occupied with days/achievements/failure/success and I think that mind occupation fucks with you.

Anyway, that is my opinion, nothing more, but it may be good for someone. No matter if this works or not, once again I advise you to read your brain on porn as it will give you a better perspective. You will understand why are you doing it for real, and not because you thought it would be a good challenge for you just for fun or similar.

Day 2. I’ve accepted that years of porn/fap have negatively impacted my productivity. This week we’ll encapsulates the issues - 1) thinking about porn at work this week and even watching some at work 2) this past week the two evenings I fapped, I was too tired afterwards to get up and make dinner.

I have to shake this habit for the sake of my productivity.

I nearly relapsed on Saturday, two days into this 6 day streak - watched porn for like 40 minutes, and nearly did the deed but was distracted by a family member which I took as a sign from the universe to keep going.

Lessons...I don't know

Im almost at 90 days and ithere hasnt been any significant change in my energy levels compared to the last time i went this far

Last time i was going nuts because i had soonmuch energy i didnt know what to do with it .

Argh I hate this, you've got a date lined up and you're pretty confident you're going to get laid so there is an element of anticipation in the days leading up to the date.
When she cancels you're left frustrated. It's tempting to take matters into your own hands.

Happened to me mid last week. I caved too, then I was just annoyed at how much power she had over me.

Something that comes to mind is setting a rule of not using my phone in my bed - I watch porn on my phone typically.

The simplest thing is to UNDERSTAND why you are/were watching porn in the first place. Read book "your brain on porn" where it goes to explain why you do it and why is porn so prevalent among young men. When you understand why, your urges will drop much more but you are not out of the danger zone. Next thing is to avoid a lot of this forum threads (nsfw), instagram thots, youtube thots and what not. Limit yourself to using browser on phone, but if you do it, follow the same procedure as for computer. Also, take up something to occupy your mind if the urges arise.

Buy seeds for a fast-growing pot plant and plant one when you begin your streak. Ideally, place the plant where you will be able to see it when temptation strikes.

If you break your streak you must throw the plant out as well.

Relapsed twice yesterday at 6 days and felt down. Today the sun came out, I played basketball with my friends, chilled at the park and ate some good food, girls gave me smiles all day. This is why when you relapse don't sit alone doing nothing stuck in your room, go out there, do excercise, socialise and your relapse will be 100x better.

what helped me is having multiple "punishments" for if you have urges......the reason I said punishments with quotations is that these punishments will actually help you....My "punishments" are

1.Work out to failure in a way that will directly or indirectly burn your arms out. (push ups, pull ups, bicep curls etc) (Sally push up challenge is a great go-to)
2. go on an exhausting run or jump rope, (this works really well if you a night masturbater, this will definitely put you to sleep)
3. cold shower (we all know the benefits)
4. Meditation/reading (this is great but sometimes it won't physically stop you from masturbating)
5. Read up on why no fap works and look at people who you look up to, then imagine how weak and pathetic they would look masturbating. imagine Bruce Wayne masturbating
6.If you're a believer of the afterlife or heaven imagine your ancestors (mainly male) looking down at the only one weak enough to not actually get a girl.


Now with all that said, I accidentally tortured myself. In my month of waiting to become a true member on here, i stalked the page and learned of supplements that boost testosterone (zinc magnesium, lecithin etc). I took some of those supplements, and did no fap and well....... I turned into a sex maniac and got massive gains in strength and size.
