The prostate stuff is debunked BS spread by the (((cigarette doctors))) of our time. In fact fapping gives you cancer.

Where'd you get that info about it giving you cancer?

https://www.livescience.com/7658-masturbation-increase-risk-prostate-cancer.html

Ah, ok. Consistent with what I saw when googling it.

tl;dr some studies show that frequent ejaculation may increase the likelihood of prostate cancer in younger guys (20s and 30s) and may have no effect or slightly reduce the risk in middle aged men. Nothing conclusive in either case though. That is, "more research needs to be done."

I went 52 days on nofap as I travelled to Mexico. I was having sex nearly everyday with my girl once or more times. It felt so good but now I have returned to my country and I have been binging on porn. I need to start working out and putting my phone far away at night. Already 2 days on porn my self confidence has gone down and so has my energy. Sex makes me energised and sharp, but porn does the opposite, it makes me feel numb

And... onto week 4. Things are good.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Chad's Day Off - 09-09-2019 05:52 AM

There is something to it, I believe it now. Something beyond a placebo effect. For example, I passed out earlier this morning at approximately 1AM. I put on a Youtube video of a popular podcast. Anyway, usually this low energy youtube videos make it pretty easy for me to fall asleep as I listen to them. It does nothing to put me to sleep, so I shut my laptop. 5 minutes later I'm asleep. This morning I wake up at probably about 5AM without any alarm, in fact, my phones dead and I didn't charge it. Anyway despite my best efforts I don't fall back asleep so I guess my body's telling me to get to work this morning. This never happens to me. I have trouble waking up in the morning, but these past 3-4 days I've been waking up at 6AM ready to go. Anyway, just being able to wake up this early jumpstarts my day and gets me going, rather than being in a time crunch waking up late and then having to stumble into my daily commitments.

Two weeks Porn free/no masturbation.

Starting to see the real value in nofap. This is an exercise in willpower.

If you can resist your sexual urges (the most powerful biological drive) you can resist anything. Sugar, alcohol, video games...porn/lust is the first step.

Past couple days have been tough. A lot of urges, but fought it out. There’s no place for porn in my life anymore.

Restarting. Day 10.

I had two handjobs from a lady friend hope that doesn’t count.

What's the longest anyone here has done this? Does it help with performance anxiety on a long enough timeline? I only ever get that if the girl is a smokeshow, a rarity these days :\

It really helps with overall confidence and masculinity. Think about it.

Who's more attractive to women? A guy wanking in his dark bedroom or a guy who hasn't spilled his seed for months (by himself) and instead looks full of life energy?

I did it first time before I knew nofap was a thing, back in 2013 right after my divorce from my first wife. Went from February until October or so when I let go off all my girls in preparation for my trip to Thailand. Then I spent one month without sex and got weak.

Back then I was going out 5 times a week on the hunt to meet women and it certainly helped, plus I was working out heavy, which for sure drove my testosterone and libido up. It felt right and I never even thought about masturbation, but in big part because I was so focused on fornication.

Right now I am married with 2 kids, and I have not looked at porn in 2019. I must confess I have fallen to masturbation a few times however, without pornography.

What I am missing most is the intense exercise from back then. Although I seem to be in decent shape, I carry an injury from a fall a couple years ago that has slowed me down since. Gotta man up and just work past the discomfort and pain, so sick of feeling weak.

It really is a whole body ordeal, if you're physically weak, all the sexual energy cannot flow as it is supposed to and performance will suffer. This extra energy needs to be channeled towards healing and strengthening the body through exercise, that is my experience.

I've had some stumbles now that my wife is freaking huge pregnant.

Is anyone interested in participating in this?

Been doing this, I'm at a rate of about 1 fap every 2/3 weeks. Getting laid about once a week. Definitely a game changer when it comes to energy and interactions with women

77 days was my longest streak. I'm struggling currently though, as I'm dealing the fallout of some romance. That shit really fucks you up.

Once I have them in my vicinity, they start to feel safe, comfortable and don't care about accidental touching. And I'm far from being a tall and strong guy.

I wouldn't mention this if I had seen this effect my whole life, but it used be quite the opposite, with girls trying the hardest to keep the 1-2 foot distance. Now I tend to have them almost on me without any effort. Not to mention that I don't get nervous anymore, which used to be a thing around females as well.

Whew, today I got approached and opened by a highly attracted girl the second time in five months. She remembered something I talked about with others before our guitar group lesson (I'm an amateur pianist) and brought it up 90 minutes later just to compliment me on it while showering me with IOIs.

I'm not even on a proper retention streak now, but it seems that getting rid of porn for 5 months had lingering effects, especially on confidence and T levels. That was the best thing I ever did in my life.

One thing that annoys me about those "surprise attacks" is that I'm mentally unprepared to properly game the situation. Otherwise I'm completely natural around girls now - no shyness, anxiety or insecurities, regardless of their looks. They appear and I'm just rolling with it as if I know what I'm doing.

Here's a good solution:

https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/228006487-FamilyShield-Router-Configuration-Instructions

You just configure the DNS settings on your router and upon so doing every device connected is unable to access adult sites.

It shouldn't. Not masturbation if there's a woman involved. Anyone disagree?

I wouldn't disagree. If you're with a woman and want to get it all over her tits or face, I wouldn't count it against you if some manual manipulation was used.

On a related note, I fell off the wagon yesterday, it had been over 2 years since I last viewed porn, but I did yesterday and I fapped to it. I don't understand why I would do that, I have a wife and we still get it on. Every couple of years it seems, I will just do this. I feel awful afterwards, I'm a man in my 50's. I have to be stronger to resist the snares.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - NoMoreTO - 09-23-2019 01:24 PM

I haven't watched porn in months. I have been off for a while, and every time I go back I think to myself "this is the stuff you used to like", its weird now to me to watch it.

I have noticed more attention and even flirting from women. A cute barista barista today was trying to strike up a convo with me. There was a big butt girl in the office, and

I just passed day 10 of retention with no fap. I used to do 5 days + when I had a girl on the go and there was a break. I would always get some energy back, but at 10+ days things seem to be in high gear.

Is there a plateau for guys doing retention + no fap?

Recording such videos should be avoided. Doing it is not only extremely degenerate, but also just asking for trouble - let's say your kids find a tape of their parents, or your wife sees that you kept a recording of you sleeping with another woman. I strongly advise to remove them from existence as soon as possible.

(12-18-2012 08:34 PM)slubu Wrote:  Pretty interesting update I have. It's been about a month since I gave up the NoFap ("NF") challenge and jacked off. I've decided I'm going right back to NF, and here's why:

- I'm still relatively indifferent about girls. However, I did let my guard down with the slut. I don't think I would have been as duped while in NF phase.
- My quantity and frequency of sex is still very high, mostly because I'm fucking my roommate so she's always there. However, I'm not happy with that situation to be frank. Kills my ability and desire to go out a bit. Nonetheless I still have brought girls back home, though...
- In this month since giving up NF, I've banged a total of zero new girls. None, zilch. I went from roughly 3.5 new bangs/month to 0. Horrible.
- I'm considerably less aggressive. Admittedly, it is due to the fact that I had two girls on rotation for a lot of the time. But sometimes I could just walk out and go approach some girls and rather chose to stay in and jack off, such as today.
- A little bit more focused on work to be honest.
- Started working out again, but I've actually put on about 5lbs (0% muscle). Need to really get in shape.

The beta thoughts continued on. I was very comfortable with my roommate and just having sex on demand. Many nights I'd give up my ability to mack, though largely it was so my friends could try to bang her friends, in that I'd offer to have our groups meet up but knowing my night would then be over. Previously I was ruthless and would never do that.

Another interesting note - I made this thread exactly one week after giving up on NF. I wonder if my lessened desire also led me to believe I was getting burnt out. I actually never felt that way beforehand.

Take it for what you will, but in my eyes there is no doubt I was much better - game wise at least - during the NF phase. Tomorrow, I start again. Goal is to not stop ever, but to be realistic I'll shoot my sights for once I learn conversational Russian. Considering I don't know any Russian currently, it won't be anytime soon.

(11-20-2012 11:06 AM)slubu Wrote:  Alright, so I went 165 days and decided to end it last night. Immediately I regretted it. I've posted plenty about my attitude/effects during the time span, so I'll focus here on what I was like towards the end:

- The most objectively indifferent and aloof I've ever been towards girls. I honestly could not care less about any of them.
- Most sex I've ever had on a consistent basis. This was towards the end, have two girls on rotation and the occasional SNL here and there.
- Most girls I've banged in a 165 day time span (19 different girls)
- Most aggressive I've ever been in terms of going out and approaching.
- Most scatterbrained I've been with respect to work and desire to work.
- Least I've ever worked out since I started going to the gym 14 years ago.

As soon as I fapped my mind rushed in with tons of beta thoughts for whatever reason. It scared me. I wanted to sleep over one of my rotation girl's places. I wanted to stop going out and be a good guy. Like I literally was being brainwashed.

Obviously I realize that the direct sole variable is not fapping or not fapping, but indirectly it is. I probably had so many bangs because I was so aggressive in going out, but that was because I was not fapping so my only release was through a girl - talk about motivation.

Everyone is different and I realize that what may work for one may not work for others. But this shit worked for me, and worked wonders (absent the lack of motivation for work). Not sure if I'm going to go another 5.5 months or whatever, but I'm definitely not going back to my ways of before (few times a week).

Bumping this for motivation. Currently on day 3

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Batman_ - 10-24-2019 04:31 PM

So I recently went 7 months without fapping to porn - although I did fap a few times (without porn) near the end, AND I did "peek" at porn occasionally. So it certainly wasn't a strict hard mode. I noticed absolutely zero, and I mean zero benefits to my life. And my previous longest streak, last year, was about 5 months of strict noporn/nofap, and I didn't notice a damn thing either.

If you quit fapping but continue to look at porn, you accomplish nothing.
If you quit porn but still fap, you may still see progress, but it will be incredibly slow.

For people who are serious, it will probably take at least 3 months of hard mode (no fap, no porn, no edging, no peeking, no "softcore" ie youtube/instagram) to see real change. Some people may take longer, especially people who were heavy porn addicts during adolescence. Given my history, I think suspect I need at least 1 year of hard mode to see signs of recovery.

To be honest, I'm pretty convinced that most people are delusional and falling to placebo. There's no chance that 1 week or even 1 month will do anything drastic. And if you're the type who thinks that looking at instagram booty models is okay as long as you don't fap, you're wasting your time as well. All supranormal sexual stimuli are harmful and the data is more clear than ever. Cut the shit and take control of your environment.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - kosko - 10-24-2019 09:47 PM

I've been off porn for months. Aside from a slip up back in July I don't even remember the last time I watched the stuff . I don't miss porn one bit and I now find it silky and gross.

Physically, boners are more frequent, stronger and come about much easier. Intercourse with the significant lady is much better, more intense, and I am much more into it.

I don't fap as well but there is more urge to fap during dry streaks but no urge to watch porn.

In the end , I recommend just doing no one and sticking to it. It is poison for the mind so just take the small steps to rid yourself if the evil that is porn.

I agree. The physical benefits are way overblown.

I'm still not watching it because it doesn't give me any benefit, which means it likely hurts us in some way that we don't understand. The same applies to masturbation.

As porn and masturbation is satanistic, the benefits of removing it are first and foremost spiritual. To get them you need to

1. be free other sins (including fornication)
2. be not possessed by demons

If you opened the door to spiritual evil in the past, just not touching your D might simply not be enough. That's something people on those "secular" sites about "sexual health" do not understand. This is not a secular matter.
