(10-15-2013 08:48 PM)Vaughn Wrote:  Yesterday I deleted all the porn hyperlinks I'd saved to my "favorites" folder over the past few years. Day 1 of no-fap. I've had issues with ED since 2008. I've been doing testosterone supplemenation for about three years now which seemed to help with the issue somewhat, but over the past several months my eyes have been opened to the possibility that the issue may stem from years of porn viewing. More and more frequently it seems I only get really hard erections when I watch porn. I'm done with watching porn and will see in 3-6 months if things improve.

To clarify my intent, my goal isn't necessarily to not fap. My goal is to cut out the porn and my hope is I can get back to the point where the sight of a hot naked woman arouses me strongly. If I'm in the shower and so horny I can rub one out just through my thoughts, I'll do it. Not sure if that will happen as it's been years since I rubbed one out without any porn.

When I've been to strip clubs in recent years the beautiful girls dancing naked or topless in front of me don't really turn me on like they once did. Even lap dances fail. Could it be from having spent so much time watching hardcore porn that the dancing stuff just doesn't do it? I look around at the other thirsty dudes in the club throwing dollars on the stage and I wonder (no homo) if they have hard ons or if they're flaccid like me. Ten years ago I used to get very turned on during lap dances. Not anymore. Don't know if that's normal. Hoping the no-porn no-fap thing will answer my questions.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Bushido - 11-05-2013 04:34 AM

I had some visitors stay with me for a couple of weeks so I started NoFap almost accidentally. Now I figure I may as well stick with it as an experiment.

A few [email protected] Day 14:

1. I'm aggressive as fuck and not always in a good way. Someone put an iPhone in my face to take a closeup photo even though I'd said "No Thanks" twice to the photo. I pretty much lost it with them right there, grabbed the phone and threw it on the ground. I must have looked like a dick but it just happened instinctively.

2. My mind is constantly on sex. I have been hitting up my phonebook and lining up dates for almost every day after my visitors are gone. Previously I was too lazy to get in touch with these same girls. I'm constantly plotting and thinking about what positions I will be banging each girl in. Shit is crazy.

3. I'm catching myself perving on girls in a totally obvious way. Staring at asses or cleavage that I would have glanced at briefly before. I'm not sure if this is a good thing.

4. Haven't noticed an improvement in my approaches although I'm definitely more motivated. My blow-out ratio is still the same give or take.

5. I'm making stronger eye contact with girls. Suddenly everyone is a target. Find myself talking to waitresses/shop staff more often that I might usually ignore.

6. Weirdly enough, no random erections. I thought that was par for course but nothing has changed there so far.

7. At work I'm distracted and angsty at times. I feel moments of rage/aggression more often with some of the arseholes I work with. I haven't reacted but it's like some angry beast has woken up inside me. This might be the most unpleasant aspect and I'm scared that I might end up reacting to something.

8. It could be placebo but I am getting more glances and smiles from random girls. Or maybe I just didn't notice before.

9. My mind is constantly on sex. My mind is constantly on sex. My mind is constantly on sex. My mind is constantly on sex. My mind is constantly on sex. My mind is constantly on sex.

All in all, it's a mixed bag. First girl comes over on Friday. Poor poor girl. She is gonna get it.

On my 17th day, I feel more confident and something...primal? I don't know how to describe this. Not fantasy about porn much anymore, but some time my mind automatically fantasy about girls I want to fuck instead, is this good or bad?

Seeing high school girls walking in their short skirts give me hard on <_<

Will stick to this

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cattle Rustler - 11-05-2013 08:12 AM

I share dreambig's feelings, instead of getting sex out of my mind......sex is the only thing in my mind. Although I'm a bit more productive as I spend my time doing other things.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Checkmat - 11-05-2013 08:43 AM

I just finished a ~14 day abstinence from porn. Holy shit that was difficult.

The first week wasn't too bad. I thought, hey I can do this all month. It was the second week that it all caught up to me.

Like dreambig experienced I too had sex on the mind 24 hours a day. I found myself flirting with girls I otherwise would have passed off as ugly or beneath me. Everyone was a target.

I was using fantasy a lot more when I thought about sex. I didn't get laid during the 2 weeks and I think that's what eventually had me break down and use internet porn again the other night. Then again yesterday.

Once you start again, stopping is difficult. I'm going to go for another 2 weeks now because I think at the very least, in my experience, using porn once every 2 weeks (twice a month) is way better than EVERY DAY.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - markus85 - 11-05-2013 11:26 AM

I'll chime in with my thoughts...

Since I started fapping the longest break I ever had was 3 days. This time I actually made it 30 days. I noticed I woke up feeling more refreshed and I did notice as other posters mentioned a slight increase in aggression. Aside from those benefits nothing drastic...save for one which for me makes it worth it which I'll explain.

I actually never knew about no fap nor did I have porn induced ED. My interest was peaked when I read on a forum about a guy saying his game improved rapidly during no fap because of how thirsty it made him. Like dreambig said above "everyone is a target" girls I would never consider before were actually targets to get my nut off Tongue

No here's the kicker...there was no logical thought process in my mind that said "Hey Markus these girls are not actually attractive! Your thirsty and your sack is heavy...take of the shades!!" I remember doing two messy approaches on a cashier who I thought in the midst of no fap was a strong 8. I fell of the wagon and started fapping again and visited the same store some time later thinking that the cashier looked familiar. It clicked it was the same girl from my earlier approaches and couldn't believe how previously my mind/hormones warped my perception and turned her into a beauty when in reality she was barely a 5.

So for me it's worth it personally due to how thirsty it makes me which in turn dampens alot of the approach anxiety.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Bushido - 11-05-2013 04:19 PM

Well I just had my first ever threesome and lasted a grand total of...5 seconds.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Buddy Orion - 11-05-2013 08:56 PM

I lasted 7 days and could not take it anymore. I'm currently not meeting enough new girls to do NoFap. If I'm not able to approach like a boss, should I consider doing it?

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - MidWest - 11-06-2013 11:45 AM

Usually when I jerk off after a long period of no fapping my load is bigger and more satisfying.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - cardguy - 11-06-2013 05:23 PM

I am not sure if constantly thinking about sex (through no fapping) is a good thing. Seems a distraction from more interesting thoughts.

Why not have a no food month - and just fantasize about eating the whole time?

I'm not judging. I think this is a fascinating thread - and a really interesting experiment.

Anyone - off to look at some porn! :-)

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Felix88 - 11-07-2013 04:16 AM

Actually, I found out I can redirect my sexual energy and getting things done, feel more focus.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ChocolateCockOfZeus - 11-08-2013 01:20 AM

Day 30.

I. Am going. To whoop. Someones ass. Seriously, I'm not very nice as of late.

Plus, I've been eyeballing fat girls. Intense eyeballing.

I also had a doctors visit today. My doctor is a female. While sitting in the room waiting for her to come in, I fantasized about her coming in without any clothes on under her white coat. The thought brought on a thunderous erection. The thing is, she's sooooo average looking, but my cock is acting like she's Pam Anderson in the 90's.

This shit isn't easy. My whole reason for doing this is so I can regain sensitivity, because at this point just the sight of a condom wrapper kills my erections. It ain't safe for a man in Atlanta without a condom, so not wearing isn't an option.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Bushido - 11-11-2013 08:34 PM

Day 21:

1. Feeling more grounded than last week, probably because I got my rocks off with 3 different girls (2 regulars) in the last few days.

2. Not as obsessed with sex as I have been but my motivation to pick up new prospects is still high.

3. Girls are reacting well. Went out to the local bar last night and a cute girl dressed all in black came to sit down next to me to which I said that seat would cost her $100. She laughed and said she would pay me later and stayed there for the next couple of hours. Other guys were trying to talk to her but she just ignored them and kept our conversation going. She had her hand on my leg for most of that time. Meeting her tomorrow night.

After that one left an even cuter girl with dyed blonde hair asked if she and her friends could drink with us. Instead of joining them I just beckoned them over to our table. They looked a little bemused for a moment but eventually obeyed. The cute girl asked ME for her number shortly after (the "please teach me English" line lol) and we set up a date with her for next week. Placebo effect? I don't know but something has changed and I like it!

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - betterthanyou - 11-11-2013 10:35 PM

I realized that the way to quit porn is to change your environment. The first time I ever quit for 2+ months, I was focused on making money and did not have the time for it. Now I don't even think about it.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Swearbox - 11-12-2013 03:55 PM

Holy fucking christ...25 pages dedicated to whether or not porn or no porn will improve your overall sex life. This is the nerdiest bullshit I ever saw. I swear the age of the internet / gaming is to blame for all of this shit. Go out there and interact instead of locking yourselves away and thinking that abstaining from jerking off is somehow going to improve your chances. All it'll do is make you more desperate ffs. No porn...LMFAO

I'd read all of them, but i'm too busy looking at Xhamster.com
Smile

Think about the days before the internet, the hardcore porn addicts would be societies outcasts - very weird dudes. It simply cannot be healthy for the mind

Nice shaming attempt there. You are mistaken if you think people are "locking themselves away" to do this. The whole idea is to get out there, open more girls and hopefully have more sex.

FFS there's no big secret mystery to getting yer hole...I cannot believe the world needs a fucking internet forum to help guys get girls...and I'm not trolling before anyone starts, I just find it incredible that the younger guys today need guidance from each other on how to score. Ask your dad(s) how they did it in their day and I swear not one of them will bang on about abstaining from porn or jerking off to increase their chances. Maybe it's a Yank/Canadian thing and I'm just a simple Brit, who knows?

Our dads didn't have high-speed internet porn available to them 24/7 when they were growing up.

They were lucky to get their hands on a Penthouse magazine. It's totally different.

And if you're that aghast that there's a forum to help guys learn game--an important skill in being a man--then you're probably in the wrong place.

I'm on Roosh for reasons other than how to learn how to tap up women...I just saw this thread and simply had to comment. And as far as your 'important skill in being a man' goes try and approach it like men and not like spotty little school kids. Peace.

I just can't seem to quit this stuff. I have to view extreme shit now in order to get off. Ejaculating during real sex is getting harder too. I used to be clean for 3 weeks once, that felt real good. Now I can't go longer than a few days. I installed a few web blockers but I always find ways to circumvent it.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - markus85 - 11-14-2013 06:59 AM

To reiterate on my earlier post I don't come at this from an angle of 'porn bad/evil!' in fact I still watch it and enjoy it but I don't practice edging nor do I even touch my cock...just enjoy the images Tongue I imagine 90% of the damage is being done with the orgasm/reward at the end.

I'm on day 5 now and I'm experiencing the same benefits as before. Just the fact that it makes me super thirsty is reason enough for me to stop jerking.
