What it kills is work. I cannot sit and concentrate. I actually get agitated for long term goals. I have no sense of delayed gratification. I just want to be outside running around and fucking girls, which is natural but impossible unless your job at work is doing porn.

Having girls over 4 or 5 times a week also drains my work energy from all the drinks, going out, entertaining, and screwing late into the night.

My work goes much better when I actually abstain from sex and jerk it.

I can see why many guys that work to the top have a steady wife or GF that is low maintenance and they can depend on sex. Therefore their mind can be focused always on work.

Damn I need enough $ to retire so I can run around outside and just chase chicks all day / night like an animal.

Get mini relationships, that way you focus on work

Day 1 again

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - philosophical_recovery - 07-18-2014 02:50 PM

Around a week. This is much harder than not drinking. I made it a month earlier this year, but couldn't sustain it afterward.

A lot easier when seeing a regular girl.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cr33pin - 07-18-2014 07:50 PM

Day 50 of no porn no fap. Have seen some porn here and there but no fapping in the 50 days. I do have a GF and get ass pretty regular.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - redbeard - 07-19-2014 08:33 AM

it gets easier when you have a GF however, when she's gone, things get WAYYYY harder. you will be so used to banging all the time that your cravings will come back full force.

that being said it's still good to do. use the time you build up with her as momentum. I'm on day 54, which is my best streak ever. but, the first 20 or so days, I was with my ex who I was banging regularly. once I ended things, I already had those 20 days in my pocket and knew I wanted to make them count. I think I'll finally be able to make 90 days this time.

I've felt excellent the past few days. It's interesting...I still feel like I need sex. I'm still itching for sex, but I'm working so hard that at the end of the day i don't have time for anything but sleep.

I'm also doing intermittent fasting and I feel a great correlation between the two that I might elaborate on more. With IF, I know that I'm going to get food...but I have to push through the fasted hours in order to get it. NoFap is the same thing. I know for a fact that sex will come when I'm able to go out...or when I get done with this work trip...and I'm okay with that. Just like the mornings when I crave food, I know that if I wait a few more hours, I'll be able to feast.

Day 1 again. I literally felt my testosterone oozed out of me when that happened.

I'm on Day 2.

Need more zinc.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cr33pin - 07-19-2014 02:55 PM

Well shit... So I fapped to porn, but it was own homemade porn.... Do I have to go all the way back to Day 1? That was the first time I have fapped in forever.

I've had the date set for July 31st for a month now, just a two week pre-semester fuck fest trial period to build up some T and privelige juice

But as they say to the God of death, not today

Spent the whole day writing my thesis, drinking coffee, and violently beating off. I think I did it 4 times. I regret absolutely nothing.

Laugh

Same here, no fap and finals are absolutely brutal.

I, too, have been fapping violently.

I'm not all wiped out though. Still horny as fuck.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - zanetti - 07-21-2014 05:13 AM

I have an exam next week and couldn't focus on studying because of all the sexual thoughts, mostly about my fav porno clips. Was 8 days since I had sex. Couldn't take it anymore so decided to beat off.

Positives: am now able to study and focus on getting stuff done
Negatives: a serious sense of sadness/melancholy came over me a couple of hours after I did it. Also happened last time I fapped.

Does anyone else get this?
Is there any literature/research that indicates how fapping is so different from sex?

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - pitt - 07-21-2014 06:06 AM

22 days and I don't even feel like fapping. Maybe because I have been partying a lot, having lots of sex and been always busy.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Coldfire - 07-21-2014 06:12 AM

I've decided to abstain from porn and fapping for a the next month to get ready for going away to college.

It do get those, it's testosterone leaving your body. Part of it also is subconsciously you know it's not ok, but you did what you had to do. However even phone sex works (your body is smarter than you think) and gives you a testosterone boost.

My bet is on this. You know it was cheating and not natural. So you feel "beta" for going the easy way instead of having real sex.

Or at least that's how I feel. "Fucking CR, you didn't nut inside a broad and when you do bang one....it will be harder to cum because you fapped!!!"

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Constitution45 - 07-22-2014 02:06 AM

Can anyone recommend porn blocking software, something along the lines of K9 or any accountability software. So my Great Aunt in Ireland will receive a pop up showing the porn I am watching. Will help a lot, cheers.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Handsome Creepy Eel - 07-22-2014 05:32 AM

Well I don't know about notices to other people, but isn't K9 enough for all your needs? If you set it up properly, it's both very hard to bypass and doesn't interfere with your other browsing.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - redbeard - 07-22-2014 10:49 AM

k9 is very good software. if it's not enough for you, type the password as gibberish so you can't just unlock porn.

you can still get a temp password, but I've often found that the extra steps required to reset the password were enough to keep my urges subdued.

In my case if I fap just mindlessly this feeling of weakness and little depression comes. I think it has to do with losing will power. To work against it I had a system where I watch porn 3 times but without fapping or fapping without coming. After that I fap. The effect is that you still have a will power left and you donĀ“t feel weak but strong.

Mindless fapping is like running without training it makes you exhausted. Fapping with breaks trains your will power und also you are not that fixated on coming but more in the process because your mind gets focused on the process of fapping but not on coming.

I knew this Beta guy who I suggested Nofap turn half a year ago. Six months later he has turned into a machine, he started working out, he now has a solid frame were as he was tall and skinny before, looking very unhealthy. He also is getting dates with hot chicks and has started to approach all the time. He is fun to be around with.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Coldfire - 07-22-2014 04:23 PM

over 24 hours in and I think I'm doing fine. Is there a point where you feel it becomes hard to resist and if so how many days in?

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - game_ethic - 07-22-2014 05:33 PM

^ Around 5-6 days.
