If you fap again once a week, you will do it with porn or not ?

Because porn is definitely the worst in my opinion. Fapping once a week without porn is harmless but the difficulty is to not be trapped by watching (and masturbating) to porn again !

After 21 days of no fap , I decided to feel what is it like to watch porn and masturbate to it . I walked in to the house a bit tipsy watched almost 10 videos, I felt like my brain didn't like what I was watching nor it was stimulated by those nude scenes. I ignored that , came in a bunch of napkins .After a while , I felt empty and severly depressed like this life was pointless . Tingling sensations all over my body it was horrible . This morning too , I woke up with a heavy hangover sensation as if I was shugging vodka the night before . Long story short , watching porn affects your mental health a lot , kills those feeling well cells "Serotonin & Dopamin" . It's a tremendous blow to your self-esteem , and self confidence . I'm 100% positive ,this is the last time I'm jerking off to this shit .

About 15 months without looking at porn, and day 20 without a wank. The first is no problem. I don't know if I like the latter. I've become very dissatisfied with things in my life, and while that's merited from a certain perspective, and can be motivating, I'm also conscious that my thoughts are often turning more negative.

On day 3.
Doing fine so far.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - jariel - 08-18-2014 05:18 AM

I've taken this a step further.

I stopped masturbating last year, this year I decided to stop ejaculating during casual sex.

I've decided that my sperm is too valuable to be busting inside of chicks who I don't really want in my life long-term nor do I want to give them the satisfaction of making them believe they've pleased me by siphoning out my cum.

Don't mean to be vulgar, but that's what it is.

As a result, I'm horny as fuck all the time, but I'm laser sharp in focus, and ready to take on the world, it's been much easier to dedicate myself to myself in the process.

Good luck gentlemen with your own respective journeys, it is not easy.

I've never been much of a porn watcher. I just use mental images of my previous or even potential bangs to get me hard.

That's an interesting take on things, very boss like. I'm like 99% of guys that will keep on banging until they bust their nut. I couldn't do what you do, I get a serious case of blue balls.

That's interesting Jariel. Ancient tantric practitioners did a similar thing. They believed that everytime you ejaculate, you let out a little bit of life force and spirit energy known as chi and shen. I'm forgetting a lot of things but semen retention is supposed to increase your life expectancy and health, real out there concepts. I think its called sexual alchemy.

On another note, Ive been thinking about no fap lately as a concept. I can't help but wonder if I'd have seen my fapping as such a big problem if I never watched the YBOP videos from the tedtalk.

For instance, I think back to high school and earlier years when I had zero knowledge of nofap. Jerking it didn't seem to affect my mood, social life, or self perception. And I jerked it a lot! It was only after the tedtalk video that I really began to feel the lethargy and overall shitiness that they talked about. It almost feels like if no one told me about it, then nothing would have changed. Only once it was brought to my attention did I notice all the negative symptoms.

But I also need to keep in mind that I didn't get laid at all in HS, so I had no sexual experiences to reference how it would have affected my performance; had I been sexually active at that time. Maybe if I got a girl in my room back then it would have manifested itself, and I would have had to find out the hard way.

It may also have been because you were in high school, that you felt it didn't affect you. Honestly, during those days, I would pop a boner and be walking around for hours. I miss those days.

I'm at 3 days so far, feeling good. I went 19 days on a cruise with no internet access, and by the end of it was having the hardest erections I can remember. Definitely incentive to hop back on the train.

No fap, 15 days in.

Two days ago i got a longlasting boner just by holding hands with a girl. Last time that occured to me was with 15.

22 days checking in.

I banged 5 times in a <24 hr period yesterday after no action for a while. I took some ZMA last night and got a little more booty in the morning. Maybe I only noticed it due to nofap and being more aware of what was going on, but I definitely felt drained the entire day, and didn't feel like lifting, but pushed myself anyway. There might be something to that. The problem is, after about 10 days between getting laid, the first couple of times I wasn't able to last that long at all.

I've also noticed that I don't get as much pleasure from an orgasm, or at least I'm not as obsessed about it. I get a lot more pleasure from just having sex, all the sensations of it. Additionally, I noticed how much I *don't* like having sex with some girls, because it's just thrust and ejaculate, like taking a dump.

30 days, libido up and down, def more aggressive w women. dont know if too aggressive during day shrugs.

jelqing , no edging or wanking, no porn obviously

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Party Pooper - 08-23-2014 04:51 AM

In for one week. Libido definetly up.

Digital nudity like MTV really make me think about fapping to porn... Strange phenomenon.

Still going strong though.

No sex during these 30 days? I also want to hear from people who can stay long days without masturbation and no sex at the same time, because if you are still getting sex, the difference won't be that much.

so far no release yet, coming soon i hope

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Chillpill - 08-23-2014 06:47 PM

Been 6 days strong, no fap no porn.

I think I'm starting my flatline period, it'll be interesting to see how things go considering my T levels will be skyhigh through out preseason (football) for the next week. Also won't really have time for bangs.

Goodluck to everyone, stay strong

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - eradicator - 08-25-2014 03:16 PM

I survived the fappening even looking at all the photos and downloading the 500 mb file for possibly later use...

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Coldfire - 09-01-2014 11:14 AM

I'm at 12 days and survived the fappening

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Summer - 09-01-2014 01:51 PM

Relapsed after 78 days (my record is 101 days). Always after a relapse I get even more urges, but this time I will stay strong! Having experienced PED is my motivation to do this.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cattle Rustler - 09-01-2014 03:32 PM

I'm a victim of the fappening

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - philosophical_recovery - 09-01-2014 04:19 PM

Caved sometime last week. I'm not sure if I want to continue this or not, but I am not getting a lot of pleasures out of orgasms anymore, regardlesss of the cause (sex or jerking it).
