Oh fuck, how do I fall asleep? I think I have a problem guys.

Count sheep Peregrine.
There's no going back now.

Day 10. I've also had problems sleeping (as I did on my other runs), but I ramped down my caffeine intake today from a coffee plus something like 3 expressos to coffee and two cups of tea. Maybe it won't be so hard tonight.

Yeah when I have sex I am ok, it is just when I masturbate. I probably can't have a full time job because of this shit, it is really fucked up man.

I would say if you had sex (and ejeculatted) you have to go back to day 1.

LemonDrink not true. As probably the person who has gone longest on this challenge (I think anyway), let me tell you the pre challenge me and the post challenge me are completely different, and I have a lot of damn sex because I keep regulars around.

It completely changes you as a person. Some good traits, some bad. I've written about the effects twice on Return of Kings.

Almost caved last night but fell asleep before I could. So I'm still going strong. Today is Day 569.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Little Dark - 09-16-2014 11:33 AM

I've gone past 7 weeks on saturday, next week 2 months.

To be honest this has been the easiest run so far, and I don't think it's gonna stop. Only thing now is I need to get laid more.

However the benefits everyone talks about here are pure placebo. I still feel like shit most days because I don't have my shit sorted right now, whereas I was fapping hard everyday and training hard over a year ago.

It's all in the head.

How can this be day 569 when you said that you masturbated last year according to your ROK post? If you fap once, you need to go back to day zero.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Wahawahwah - 09-16-2014 09:13 PM

Day 1 : 22:00 hours.

It vos very easy. Jus warming up

Peregrine / Rustler - How you guys doing?

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - EagleMan - 09-16-2014 09:23 PM

I haven't looked at porn for about 2-3 years. I don't think it's bad to masturbate as long as you don't use porn and don't do it so often. I think there are benefits to using your imagination to masturbate, since a lot of getting aroused is mental.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cattle Rustler - 09-16-2014 09:36 PM

I had a bunch of spare time today, the temptation was there but instead I went outside for a run.

30 hours of no fap and I can feel the thirstiness ozzing out of my skin.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - LemonDrink - 09-17-2014 05:46 AM

I stopped looking at porn now. Looking back I could have saved a ton of money had I not subscribed to various porn sites over the years.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cattle Rustler - 09-17-2014 09:07 PM

Must resit.....the temptation is too strong Sad

In other news, I'm drinking hypnotiq mixed with monster....I feel like raging on my road bike.

But if I do that, I'll get a DUI.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Griprip08 - 09-17-2014 10:36 PM

So I understand it's the porn thing. That's out. But does it come down to actually having an orgasm that get's you all foggy and shit and lowers testosterone? I actually managed to just stop short the other day but still shot out a quick load. It was the weirdest thing ever but I was actually satisfied and didn't orgasm.

Anyone experience anything like this?

Also, only day 4 for me, can't wait to start feeling more energized and clear headed. Really wonder about the above though.

Yeah, that's what it's all about......fapping lowers your testosterone and makes you foggy. You can't concentrate if you do it too much and get lazy. Not to mention it takes away time frmo doing other stuff.

Ditto if you're jacking but not cumming.....you could have spent that time doing something else.

I've experienced something like that but the temptation will eventually come and win you over.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Sketness - 09-17-2014 10:39 PM

is it just me or does anyone else after they come from the gym just want to fap?

is this some kind of biological thing going on here or what?

Day two.
Easy as fuck.
I did reopen my okc account after like a year so maybe there's something to that

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cattle Rustler - 09-21-2014 03:19 PM

Ok, so I broke no fap yesterday.

Just passed the 24 hour no fap period.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Little Dark - 09-21-2014 06:51 PM

Shit, you know that feeling you get when you just know you're gonna fap? Once you get that there's no going back for me.

81 days, this last week was horrible but piss easy on all the others.

Day 1...

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Blackwell - 09-22-2014 02:24 AM

I survived the original fappening.

I couldn't survive the sequel.

Day 1.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Party Pooper - 09-22-2014 05:14 AM

Day 36.

Libido still growing. Sex on my mind constantly.

Two days ago I managed to cum and stay hard for a second round immediatly after.

F*ck porn, this is like I'm sixteen all over again.

(09-13-2014 10:00 PM)Nomad77 Wrote:  Two points I want to make:

1. There is a difference between masturbating and watching porn. Although, they usually go together. I would suggest just try cutting out the porn first while masturbating without it. Then cut back on the masturbation to some reasonable level. And when you do masturbate think about real girls you know instead of porn. The porn will stay in your memory for awhile until you replace it with real women and sex.

2. A lot of guys, including myself, use it to relieve stress which allows you to focus on work. It's much more efficient than having sex with a girl. You burn up a lot more time and energy banging a girl. And if you have to go out and get one, forget it. Might as well, get a hooker. What this means is that unless you can find another way to cope with stress then it's going to be very hard to stop.

The main problem is not masturbation it's the porn. If you can quit the porn that alone will make a huge difference. The easy access that the Internet has created has really make this a huge problem. Just imagine if drugs were as easy to get. Anytime you find yourself stressed out and thinking about watching porn just go to a public place. It will help.
Strongley agree on the "stress" issue. This is a problem I have had for years. Some tension happens in my life and I find myself frapping away to get that endorphin blast. I don't think it's the sex addiction problem, but an endorphin one. OK, maybe the two go hand in hand [insert obvious joke here].
I started in college as a way to relieve the stress of exam taking and it's continued onward. Combine the years of frapping with all the online pr<o>n and you have a toxic brew. I shudder at what the young guys out there must be experiencing with all the fat entitled chicks and availability of cheap online substitutes.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ColSpanker - 09-22-2014 11:42 AM

I'm of two mind on the abstinence thingee, seeing how it never works for me:
1) Create my own pr<o>n and tame the demons, but that might have effects I'm not prepared to handle
or
2)Swear off pr<0>n entirely. Literally write a pledge, date it, and sign it in blood.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Gorgiass - 09-22-2014 03:06 PM

Bored, sick, and home most of the weekend, past bang declined to join me and risk the cold. Gave in, watched some exGF porn and fapped. 120+ days run, back to Day One. I'm alright with it.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Wahawahwah - 09-22-2014 06:18 PM

Reset.
Did not hit double figures
