Are you trying to be condescending? Your response implies you think you're better, hence my words do not carry any merit on their own. What are your criteria? Your post count and your data sheets don't make up for your passive-aggressive panty fits.

Let me just block you now and get it over with.

O the horror,

Unknown newbie is blocking me. How can i sleep tonight ?

Relax newbie Neil will sleep soundly in his mom's basement tonight knocking one off chuckling about those no fapping losers.

Neil your being a poor sport. I really find a dude quite dense or stupid as hell to not think that an artificial creation like digital porn is not detrimental to a males mind and well being. Its okay if you don't subscribe to the theory but to come in and belittle kats is low brow at its finest. You have kats in here giving their personal testimonials and you still claim its some how a myth?

At least have a debate and bring your own view to the table, nothing wrong with that.

This type of acting is mad childish. If you have any personal or family battles with addictions or issues you would look at this in a different light. You sound mad gilded right now.

Edit: I guess I should do a update on my progress thus far. I am still not 100% off viewing porn I have not viewed videos or anything like that for about a month now and have not fapped in how long I think 3-4 weeks?. But I still stumble on pics and stuff, even on this forum (Those Kern Vice vids?) so I do not know if that is cheating my brain or not but since shit was static or mild I don't think it did. I think the motion pictures and sound does more to the back brain versus just static pictures. My dreams have calmed down a bit but my sleep has been off and I am still mad irritable. My game has been sharper though I steeped on the weekend and was a beast. Only time things get hectic is after the gym that is usually when my testo and horniness is sky high and I am hyperventilating mess.

Going into the dark zone that most guys don't want to talk about but fuck it. I will. Sleeping is always the roughest part my brain is still fucked and my dreams basically re-program porn or bangs I have had. I'll sometimes end up busting one in my sleep without even noticing, kats shy away from this as its something people only think of happening in their youth but it can still be a problem in later years also. This has cooled down as of late though but if I don't empty on a lizard I will empty at night so gotta keep busy and in the gym to keep the energy up to go slay lizards.

Keep on truckin'

Kosko,

I'm pretty much done with this discussion. I had fits in other no-fap threads also. It just bothers me that some people sit at home and come up with all sort of make believe fairy tales and convince themselves that the best thing they can do is not fapping instead of actually doing something about the problem and finding a girl to fuck. I can't stand the idea of weakness in some one that thinks that not fapping will somehow give them magical powers and suddenly they have to beat girls of them with a stick. It's just not gonna happen.

Maybe it's the age of these no fappers. Young guys tend to be naieve. For me it's an utter lack of willpower and thus weak.

Anyway i already said enough about this subject.

Although I'm not religious anymore, I think that's by far the best and most thorough guide on how to stop wanking. Brilliant!

Quote:When you bathe, do not admire yourself in a mirror. Never stay in the bath more than five or six minutes -- just long enough to bathe and dry and dress AND THEN GET OUT OF THE BATHROOM into a room where you will have some member of your family present.

They said "member."

For those who have done this or are doing it, are you seeing all the 'godlike' benefits that everyone claims?

I've done it for around 9 days before and felt like an absolute alpha beast and I am craving feeling the benefits once again, because really the feeling was indescribable.

But supposedly most people will get flatline periods where they'll feel like absolute shit and depressed for days/weeks/months, depending on how much you used to jack off. This flatline period scares me, I'd rather not deal with that shit, especially if its longer than a day or two. But I was never into hardcore porn just the regular shit. And when I did wack it, I would only jack off once a day, rarely more than that. So here's hoping that the flatline does not affect me for too long.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - kosko - 06-20-2012 04:27 PM

9 days is nothing I am a serial porn addict and even though its hard after a while it does not become that big of a deal only when you hit the certain times when your hornyness is through the roof do things get hectic. I try to take a nap or force an activity to keep my mind of off it. I am trying to do the "reboot" right now.

As weird as it sounds, I'd be interested in seeing the results of a study looking at a group of 12 year-olds; half who have started and half who have not. Basically, the researchers would observe their interactions with others, perceived focus, school performance, etc. and determine if their is a substantial difference between the groups. I feel as though the results derived from a study like this could produce information related to this topic in the purest form.

I'm also on board with no porn. I'm trying to follow the Paleo lifestyle as much as possible: diet, exercise, and everything else.

Every second watching porn could have been an approach.

Going to definitely try this, been meaning to for a while.

I went 27 days before breaking down, started again and now am on day 31. So one wank in about 2 months. Here's what I've noticed:

- I have a lot more extreme emotions, which for me is still very muted. I don't really have mood swings.
- I'm rock hard with the slightest of touch from a girl.
- I think about sex a LOT.
- Most importantly *** My ability to interact with girls has skyrocketed. Don't know if it's this or what, but I find myself being able to carry on conversations with girls with ease.
- I give much less of a shit about 1) rejection, and 2) any particular girl that I'm dating/trying to bang.
- I've had a more difficult time closing on dates. Not sure why.
- That one time I did jerk it, I felt so damn happy for about 5 days afterwards. Like I was just flying high in happiness. This was quite odd, I don't think I was this happy in years.
- I've been approaching a lot more, probably because I'm outrageously horny.
- I'm more of a dick to girls, which works initially but then I push it too much and has been backfiring of late.
- Porn now almost freaks me out a bit. It's weird I know, but not in the sense that oh my god what are they doing, but that since I don't view it regularly it is a bit shocking to my eyes. I've only seen it randomly and not on purpose.
- I'm actually less efficient with work, mostly because how to bang and who to bang next dominate my thoughts.

I can see this being useful for me... No jacking off means I will need to stick it somewhere...

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - bacan - 07-10-2012 11:09 PM

Haven't jerked since I gave it up in Mid May .. this has been ridiculously easy.. I have been having steady sex .. My poor sex drive has lowered I think..

4 days now I think....starting to get a bit agitated...

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Cr33pin - 07-12-2012 06:42 PM

Since i try my best to not watch hardcore porn, i notice when i see a pic of a girl in a bikini on facebook or something i get all excited like its my new porn

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Andreas - 07-12-2012 07:39 PM

I only stayed like 6 days and I couldn't go on. It's very hard when I don't go out that much. I don't even have a car to go out there as much as you guys do now. And even If i go to the gym, after 3-4 days I feel the urge to fap again. Confused
How did you guys stay 2-3 weeks without fapping when you were 18-20 years old?

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Richie - 07-12-2012 08:07 PM

Does fapping mean wanking?... If so you can have a wank for god sake... you are only human. I think the point of this thread is to avoid porn. THe idea is that you find pleasure in the simple things. Eg a pic of a girl in a bikini Smile If I don't watch porn for a week my motivation to approach girls increases 10 fold. Too much porn dampens the senses and makes you less proactive in actually getting laid. ALso the long term damage of this means you can't get properly aroused by a normal girl in a normal sexual situation.
But by all means.. fab away. Just use your imagination. Mine is usually the girl I just saw in the street. I feel sorry for you younger folks who have never experienced life without porn.

I don't think this site has been posted in this thread, I didn't see it in any of the posts but: http://www.yourbrainonporn.com is a very informative, scientific site that is all about porn addiction. Here is a good place to start: http://www.yourbrainonporn.com/doing-what-you-evolved-to-do.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ccurtis189 - 07-13-2012 08:25 PM

I'm on day 3 right now, trying to go for 90 days as suggested by yourbrainonporn.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Some guy - 07-13-2012 08:28 PM

The 90 days challenge was invented by Reddit, I believe. I'd recommend you just keep going for as long as you can.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but this guy is saying 7 days w/o fap leads to 147% increase in T before the T levels drop down to normal again: http://themodernsavage.com/2009/02/04/effects-of-male-masturbation-on-attracting-women/

I was spanking it like an orgasm addict for the past 2 weeks but stopped 2 days ago. I already feel more horny and alert Smile
