I did about two weeks until I eventually slept with a girl, and then started fapping once a day after that. I did find after fapping daily, everything went down in terms of life satisfaction and motivation. I'm a definite advocate, day 1 today again!

Been doing NoFap/NoPorn on and off for about six months now, definitely one of the hardest things to do especially when you hit the gym enough and take zinc.

That being said it's something worth pursuing in my opinion especially laying off the porn as that stuff can be toxic if not controlled.

I got some blood work done and my testosterone levels are fine, but I'm going to a more thorough lab soon and getting a full hormone panel done.

Typical T tests don't tell you anything as the actual T may be bound to, say, Albumin or SHBG, thus coming back as quite low/borderline. High Oestradiol (male version of the female oestrogen) can also point to issues.

For a full pic, you need: Total T, SHBG, LH, FSH, FAI, Prolactin, Oestradiol, Free T.

Alright, I'm in.

After only one week of no porn and intermittent masturbating I could tell a big difference in quality of life.

Never, ever have I ever watched porn, beat off, and then been happy I'd done it.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - captain_shane - 05-28-2015 11:16 PM

Day 5 right now. Longest streak is 6 days, I'll beat that since a fling is coming over saturday and I'll be at 7 days.

I'm sticking with this shit for the long haul.

+'s
- I'm a fucking animal. Not just a dog or a gorilla, I'm a fucking raging beast thats been unlocked.
- Much more receptive vibes from women. Looks/eye contact/flirting
- I feel like doing shit like never before
- I don't take shit from anyone anymore

-'s
- I'm thinking about sex CONSTANTLY
- My standards are lowering, but it might not be a bad thing
- I'm very impatient.
- Beast mode status. Be aware, and remain calm.

This shit's hard, but I love it so far. It's definitely a different feeling than normal. No placebo.

Gonna begin Day 1 of this tomorrow. Can't take it anymore. My energy has been dogshit on the daily even with eight hours of sleep, constant exercising and eating healthy. I'm good at work because I work in a predominately male environment and the few females we do have at work are either in military uniform or women 50+ years of age, but my local gym is what kills it for me. I like working out there because I like the staff and the atmosphere plus the eye candy motivates me but its my biggest enemy for no fap.

Trying to see where I am at with this after three weeks. Hoping to see an increase in energy that will motivate me to go longer as well as to start approaching more.

I've done No Fap on and off for a while but the effects were always positive enough to warrant giving it a serious try. Day 1 starts today.

One thing I have noticed is how much more difficult it is to get through the night as opposed to the day. I've read, and agree, with articles about how your will power is finite for each day and that as the day goes on your will power loses strength. Fapping doesn't even enter my mind until around 5 PM after a full day of decision making has drained me. You have to consciously get yourself through those nights and it will, once again, not even enter your mind the next morning.

How do you control the non stop sexual thoughts if you don't have a chance to go out?

Longest dry spell since then has been 2 weeks.

It never even crosses my mind... I hope I can keep this up until the day I die.

I still didn't fap since mid December and I rarely have the urge to want to. I get laid 1-4 days per week.

I see a lot of people here struggle with it, I started with zinc this week and for sure it has made it tougher.

How come a lot of guys are finding it so hard? I don't know whether what I'm doing is a good or bad thing...

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - MtnMan - 06-09-2015 09:33 AM

I wanted to share a short update on my experience with NOFAP.

I started this over a year ago, I was getting laid regularly throughout most of my trial with it. I averaged about one new notch per month. I didn't find it too hard to abstain from masturbation like others have shown. I was 30 when I began, and healthy/active.

For the last 2 months or so I have decided to FAP whenever I wanted too. I live a very busy life (the way I like it), so its not like I have tons of time to sit around and wank it. However, I probably average 3 times a week, plus sex 3 times a week.

I have a noticeable increase in morning wood and spontaneous boners after resumption of fapping. My sex drive is also increased. During nofap, I was somewhat disturbed at the lack of morning wood. Now I am back to my normal wood every day, with a few randoms throughout the day.

To me, fapping feels like an exercise that I need to do to keep those parts of my body healthy.

I know everyone's experience is different, but I wanted to share my honest experience with it. It was a fun challenge to try, but I prefer to fap as I please and keep my body operating the way I like it to.

I haven't fapped since I begun NoFap five days ago, and I'm already feeling much more energetic and motivated. Got so much done at work today when usually I BS on the internet while I was fapping, and went to the gym straight after work instead of going home and napping for an hour. There's times I get the urges to do it but the newfound energy is enough to keep me going.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Felix88 - 06-09-2015 08:38 PM

I haven't jerk off since May 20, and haven't watched porn for a weeks and occasionally turn it porn on and off, I wonder where should be my start date.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - ~wrIghter~ - 06-10-2015 01:16 AM

Just finish 90 days No Fap. I will give a brief recap of pros and cons from my own personal experience.

I started the No fap challenge in March. To me I didn't feel that I needed to but I wanted to see the results that would come from it. Before I had only studied game and pursued online dating. I rarely got out in the field and cold approach girls.

After my first week, I had felt tempted but those feelings subsided when I busied myself. After the first month I found that I was more focus but my sexual standards had lowered. If there were parts of a girl that was more attractive than her face, I'd consider banging but never thirsty enough to go for it.

I later realized that a lot of my approach anxiety was eliminated and that I could interact socially with no problem. (I could do this before but not when I was interested in the subject). Here are my pros and cons.

Pros

+ Elimination of approach anxiety (Gives you that hunters ambition).
+ You're more sensitive to stimulation. (If you drink, good chance you still won't have a problem getting up).
+ More energy and more focus (I started walking miles every couple of days and working out).
+ You've established a good amount of self control and don't need to jerk off or watch porn.
+ A desire to go on the hunt (I've wanted to go out and meet more girls and just live life more).
+ Boost in confidence (Women notice this and you can see their interest when you're speaking with them).

Cons

-If you're not getting laid....this fucking sucks, but its still doable
-If you've gone about a full month or two with no-fap/no-sex/monk-mode there is a good chance of having a wet dream. This happened to me the first month I started and a day ago while I was napping. (I was taking zinc at the time as well).
-4s and 5s, would start to be considered to end your dry spells. (I've had some interested, never took bait).
-While you are able to focus on other things, sex does become a big part of what you think about.
-Sensitivity can be an issue. If you're not fapping and you do get a girl over to smash, it could be a quick blast.

Conclusion:

This is all about self control and having more shit going on in your lives. There is nothing wrong with fapping, but I do understand that with porn it can become an addiction for some.

This definitely works and could be a benefit for those looking to stop substituting their hands for real pussy. Get out their, approach women, and get the real thing. If she gives you blue balls...go let one off.

Props to everyone here who did 100+ days (with lays or without).

No porn: Day 2

No Fap: Day 23

Gonna start today.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Vaun - 06-13-2015 09:04 PM

Im 4 days in. Decided to give this a go since I think I am low T. Its showing in my approaches, and I am tired as hell in the evenings. Havent been sleeping well, going out and drinking often. Training now 3-5x per week. A little overweight by about 10lbs. Going to try the no fap thing for a while. Shooting for once a week, maybe I will keep it going. Dont have morning wood right now, and being run down with the extra weight, I think this should help with more sleep, no drink, no fap, etc.

Unfortunately I'm going have to give up the NoFap for a couple of months. Doctor's orders. Can't say I'm looking forward to the decreased energy levels and focus but it can't be helped.

Jesus fucking christ. Find a new doctor mate. I can't think of a single genuine reason a doctor could give that could justify masturbation as necessary to prevent any health related issue.

I'm guessing it's the usual bluepill prostate cancer prevention nonsense. Right?

Your doctor basically told you that you need to up your masturbation frequency. Think about how ludicrous that is for just a moment.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious - Felix88 - 06-18-2015 08:23 PM

I haven't watch porn or masturbate for more than 1 week now, I feel better and give less shit.

Today is 9th day.
