Who is deserving and who is just an impulsive shoo in?

Highlighted the ones I think could arguably belong on such a list. Many of the names they selected are simply vomit inducing, ie Taylor Swift and the Ferguson douchemongers. The bulk of the remaining names are complete non-entities. I imagine they landed on the list because they went above and beyond the token SJW cockshining that is expected of leadership of the institutions. For example, Howard Schultz's asinine race-trolling was so retarded it didn't manage to survive a fortnight even in today's toxic climate, but it was enough to land him in the top 20.

What the hell? How did they make this list, an instagram poll?

Leadership is a pretty difficult thing to quantify at the best of times.

This list is ridiculous though.

RE: Fortune Magazine 2015: World's 50 Greatest Leaders List - Dark Knowledge - 03-29-2015 03:54 AM

Taylor Swift....

RE: Fortune Magazine 2015: World's 50 Greatest Leaders List - RoastBeefCurtains4Me - 03-29-2015 04:14 AM

I, too, noticed Taylor Swift on the first read through. I was waiting to see Barry Soetoro, and was glad to see he wasn't considered among the best. I initially was thinking the most powerful, then realized they were saying "best". For all I know, the manager at the local McDonald's is a better leader than some of these guys.

Here's the thing. This wasn't some highly reasoned, data driven analysis. This is pure click bait by some bozo that's doing a free internship, or otherwise not worthy of being published in a major nationwide media outlet. It's meant to make people say WTF!??

And Taylor Swift - heh:

Jimmy Fallon - our favorite male feminist is on the list too:

Even he is on the list:

Mainstream media is only good for laughs. I usually can't stand much of it, because it is so filled with lies and propaganda, that I get too pissed off at it. Thus I barely acknowledge it.

RE: Fortune Magazine 2015: World's 50 Greatest Leaders List - Sooth - 03-29-2015 04:22 AM

Depends how they define leadership I guess.

If leadership is "leading and encouraging large quantities of brainwashed sheeple to open their wallets and be good consumers" then this list is quite apt.

Jimmy Fallon?

RE: Fortune Magazine 2015: World's 50 Greatest Leaders List - Foolsgo1d - 03-29-2015 06:44 AM

I don't read fortune magazine. Is it worth more than wiping your arse with? A list which includes a meme basketball star, a Chinese dictator and Taylor fucking Swift is a reflection of poor editorial work and journalism.

Although out of the lot I would reckon Taylor Swift. Couple of her songs are catchy.Boogiepika

Girls who do that to my boner deserve a place on the list.

Taylor Swift is a superfine piece of Southern snatch, I f'ing love that bitch... she has one the purest slut faces ever, and a superbly lanky very-near-beauty's body. It would be unthinkably good to stick it in each of her high quality holes, especially that pinkest and tightest one of all.

Nothing much to say about those other dudes, LOL.

Seems more like a "List of 50 people we think you will want to read about"

There's Adam Silver, Yao Ming, Lebron James, the coach of a women's basketball team.

Does Fortune share some financial interest with the NBA?

The NBA is the sporting outlet where SJWs have had the most success. The NFL is giving it a run for its money though.

Aside from the ridiculous inclusion of international banksters, alphabet agency heads, current and former NBA stars, and pop starlets here are a few more silly ones..

Massive failures for both of these "movements."

All the HK pro-democracy thing did was highlight serious issues with pro-democracy movements. Wouldn't be completely surprised if Wong was part of a broader CIA op too. I don't believe in spontaneous "movements" in China, the broader middle east, or Russia (and its former territories). Whenever you see some highly publicized western media backed political movements going on in these regions you have to look at it from a cold war perspective. It's various rival intel agencies probably probing for some kind of weakness in the bureaucracy..ie. spycraft.

Ferguson protests exacerbated racial tensions in the U.S. nationwide. It attracted the usual race mongers (Al Sharpton et al.) like flies on shit and made things considerably worse.

Yes, being a host of a talk show and rather unfunny SNL dork..truly a world leader.

Sir, you should consider writing and illustrating children's books. It might even beat my all time favorite.

I'm sure American magazines would deem it incorrect to put Vladimir Putin, with all that Crimean action. Instead they opted for obscure names of people who seemed like angels. Lebron and Adam Silver became the SJW lapdog for domestic violence this year. Joshua Wong and Yao Ming were probably put there for some Asian names, even though both their activism amounted to nothing. Tim Cook wouldn't have made it if he didn't flaunt his homosexuality.

Regardless, I've stopped subscribing to Fortune.
