The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Roosh - 05-22-2015 12:09 PM

So yesterday MGTOW shared their beef with neomasculinity. And today it's the Red Pill, where people come out to share their long-held grievances with me.

http://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/36vyiw/rooshv_slams_the_red_pill/

Their entire argument is that I'm doing this for a money grab. Considering that in today's blog post I strongly criticized those who are fleecing men, and that straying away from PUA will certainly cause me to forgo significant amounts of money, they are desperate to find some avenue to attack me when I've been open as a book with all my actions. Considering that no work of mine costs more than $10 on Amazon, I must be doing a poor job at fleecing men for such trivial amounts of money.

They also pointed out my lecture tour as another way I'm earning "profit", when it's unlikely I will earn a dollar on it. I have stated that doing a lecture tour is a really stupid way to make money, but I wonder if anyone here really objects to me making some income off the value I do give which I labor on daily. If you do think I am taking advantage of men, or charging too much for anything I offer, please share it with me. And if you insist that I do everything for free, then I ask that you provide me with reasonable food and shelter so that I can continue my work along with $2,500+ in monthly expenses to maintain the operation of all my sites along with content production on ROK and RXN.

It's also telling how defensive they are in me "slamming" the red pill. I calmly and merely pointed out their collective mentality and ongoing direction. It was a description of the reality, not a slam, because if it was a slam, I could come up with other means that they would feel more harshly.

Roosh, you've helped so many men, including me personally, that I'd love for you to become a billionaire. Fuck the haters.

------------------

The most sickening comment of all is: "I respected Roosh until he pulled this lame bullshit move. He's trying to monetize TRP by changing the name of TRP. I like the guy and I like his work but this entire "Neomasculinity" thing is the most transparently self-serving bullshit ive ever seen.

The only reason I ever trusted TRP in the first place is because I knew no one was profiting from it. By contrast, I am 100% sure that someone IS profiting from "Neomasculinity," so I will NEVER, EVER be able to trust it."

That guy has never had an idea so wonderful that millions of people could benefit from it. So he doesn't get that profit is created by spreading those ideas far and wide, and allowing the people who benefit from those ideas to appreciatively give you their money.

One of my buddies deliberately bought a gold-level early bird ticket to your NYC Lecture as a thank you for your hard work and beneficial influence.

Don't let it get under your skin. How's the old saying go? "Haters gonna hate"? It's always been said that when you have people outraged and criticizing what you do then you are doing something right. Something disruptive.

I personally have never purchased any of your works, but I would not say your asking price for your content is unreasonable nor is it unjustified. I've been following you through RoK and your blog/videos for some time now and it's clear to me you have a passion for something and you put a lot of time and effort into it. When you are doing things and you're in the public eye there are going to be people that try to strike you down or look for reasons to demonize you - that's just how it works which I know you are very well aware of. I certainly am not educating you on anything in that realm, but I'm just saying I don't think you need to worry about defending yourself to this community.

I respected the RP subbredit, but it largely seems to be full of basement-dwelling, neckbeard virgins these days. Too much negativity there, so I call bullshit on any "game" they may have. All the guys I know who get laid are easy going.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Quintus Curtius - 05-22-2015 12:23 PM

These people are sniveling chickenshits and losers. Their opinions matter not one iota.

They're all about resentment, jealousy, and hating. Why? Because they've sat on their fat, whiny asses for years without ever having worked hard to do something.

They offer no solutions, no actionable ideas, no inspiration, and no hope.

They are the detritus of history, the occupiers of those swirling eddies on the margins of the river's main course. Nothing can be done with them, and they should be left to stew in their own juices.

The fact that Roosh is being attacked means that progress is being made, and made rapidly. People are now standing up and taking notice.

This should be a teaching point for us. Any time you try to do something positive, expect hate and negativity from losers. Even from your own family. Because your action, your positive action, holds up a mirror to them. Your action reminds them of their own shortcomings. It reminds them of their own unwillingness to take action.

What have these guys ever done, except caress their keyboards?

Remember: everyone wants to see you fail.

Now would be a good time to read this: http://www.rooshv.com/everyone-is-hoping-that-youll-fail

O, you haters and deniers, choke on your rage! Great things will come, but not through you!

.

TRP is full of that common internet species that thinks everything should be for free, that making money is bad, and promotion is evil. Charging people $50 for a talk in multiple international cities is a way to make money? This is what they believe? They are losers.

Meh, even if you WERE making money off the talks. . .so what? You gotta eat too. Don't know why that is a bad thing.

Then again, On top of already being pretty much co-opted by shills (check the mad max discussions) TRP is pretty much in the anger phase, rather than the "what are you going to to do improve your life" phase.

They're not meant to be taken seriously. Neither is Reddit as a whole.

Agree with others here, and that everything on Reddit is poisonous. It attracts the scum of the internet. At least 4chan is darkly funny.

I'll repeat what I said in the other thread on the lectures - Roosh could make a little more money and please the fans by offering a small intimate dinner/lunch with fans. Or offer it at cost for guys who fly in to show some love for the super fans.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Samseau - 05-22-2015 12:35 PM

Charging 50 dollars in NYC is chump change. These guys are idiots

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Fortis - 05-22-2015 12:46 PM

Further things to note in Roosh's defense:

How is he being a bad guy here by offering value? I wish I wasn't going to be in Asia this year, otherwise I would cough up the dough to see roosh give a talk. He's putting his face out there and saying "this is what I believe." Isn't that as red pill as it gets?

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - RedPillUK - 05-22-2015 12:50 PM

I just looked at it and barely one supporting comment, goes to show these lame reddit users aren't as alpha as they thought.

Let's just go with their theory for a sec, its a money grab. OK, and? Whats wrong with that? if they were truly kicking ass at life, they wouldn't be upset that they're precious movement supposedly been 'slammed' and it now has 'competition' that is there to make 'money'.

They also are still too blue pill to understand, democracy is not always a very good system. Why should everyone get a say? This reddit sub is full of shit and arguments. There are times when a dictatorship is better, and this is what I think is happening here.

It's sad but this shows what I suspected anyway, that they're mostly still 'plugged in' losers.

I've been listening to happier, confident, more inspirational music lately, and Roar by Katy Perry might as well be Roosh's theme song. Except while she's singing about the negative effects of a breakup, Roosh is detailing his journey against an entirely corrupt society.

The hate Roosh is receiving is because he roared so loud. Smile

Lyrics are below for those people who can't stand modern pop music. Smile

Quote:I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agree politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything

You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Get ready 'cause I've had enough
I see it all, I see it now

[Chorus:]
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a lion
'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
You're gonna hear me roar

50 bucks is what... three, maybe four beers in NYC?

I'll probably be there for the NYC meetup; too bad I couldn't get the early bird but there's a few things I need to check on my end first.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Only One Man - 05-22-2015 01:05 PM

Could it be that TRP are the hipsters of the manosphere? Once a person or a group starts to branch out and gain bigger exposure they shit all over it whether "selling out" is occurring or not.

By the way, Return of Kings was mentioned by name on the Adam Carolla Show podcast a day or two ago when they were discussing the Mad Max movie, although it was in a negative light. Either way, Roosh and his projects are rapidly gaining wider exposure and apparently some people have a problem with that.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Roosh - 05-22-2015 01:07 PM

Speaking of profit, The Red Pill members make a big show about information being free, but they seem to forget that they regularly post on a for-profit platform owned by the most die hard feminists in Silicon Valley, perhaps the world, and led by a litigious feminist itself (Ellen Pao) that is on the verge of passing more oppressive rules. TRP subreddit exists because the feminists who own the site have allowed them to post. For men who are obsessed with being "alpha" and maintaining "frame," they have volunteered to position themselves on a lower hierarchy compared to these elite feminists.

Every single page view they give reddit, they aid feminists. Every single comment they post, they increase the profit of this anti-man corporation, and even if ads are not always directly on TRP, the huge amount of page views that the subreddit gives reddit overall is definitely used to sell ads sitewide through their advertising spec sheets.

So either indirect or directly, everyone who regularly posts on that site is increasing the money that feminists make, improving the popularity of their platform to better bring SJW and far left thought to the masses, and improving the financial support that Silicon Valley feminists receive. How they can reconcile that fact by critiquing me for selling books shows how confused these men are, and how they are merely parroting red pill ideas and not living in the spirit of them.

I wish no ill will on these men, but I told them from day one to go forth and build their own platform. They did not listen to my advice, and are now being overseen by the enemy---a virulent matriarchy---whom they so despise, and who can shutdown their so-called "frame" with only a few clicks. When that happens, they are welcome here in this community where they can finally learn from men who live more truly to masculine ideals.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - Roosh - 05-22-2015 01:16 PM

Rollo Tomasi has been posting slightly negative comments about me on TRP and Twitter for the past month or so. Today he comes out soundly against me by comparing me to Tucker Max and dropping snarky comments. I hope the red pill mob treats him better in the future than they have treated me.

Along the lines of what Basil said, I know plenty of "lurkers" who go on reddit to get their daily dose of internet funnies, but the average Redditer, who goes out of his way to call him/her/itself that looks more like this:

I don't like these civil wars in the manosphere. It's internal divide and conquer. I propose a truce and let's aim our weapons back at the feminists etc.

RE: The Red Pill subreddit attacks me and neomasculinity - scorpion - 05-22-2015 01:32 PM

The Red Pill started out pretty decent, but has fallen off greatly in quality the more it has grown. At this point it's mostly a collection of keyboard alphas and wannabes, with a smattering of quality posters and a depressingly large number of guys whose chief hobby seems to be explaining to other men how alpha they are on the internet. I laugh my ass off every time I read a post there by some total nerd that considers himself an "alpha red pill guy" because he approached a girl and has been lifting for two weeks. Roosh is correct in that "Red Pill" has become just another identity label (like MGTOW and MRA) for men online, and the Red Pill's identity has unfortunately become corrupted by the toxic cesspool that is Reddit in general. This is why it's full of so many wannabes, losers, women, homosexuals and embittered nerds. Even the quality stuff on there is pretty much just a rehashing of thought that has been floating around the manosphere for years. The original ideas presented there are basically non-existent, save for the embarrassing screeds penned by "Illimitable Man", one of TRP's most lauded posters, who is quite plainly recognizable as an embittered omega with severe resentment towards women stemming from personal rejection. He's probably quite typical of TRP's readership demographic in that regard, which explains his popularity and the fact that he hasn't been laughed off the site for being an obvious keyboard jockey like he would be if he posted here. Overall, I would like to see a few of TRP's better posters come to the RVF. The rest can go straight into the trash with the rest of Reddit.

Oh, and by the way...

Yeah wow I just saw that exchange, I remember I posted a comment by Rollo that was on TRP where he was criticising Roosh on Dr Oz, I thought it was pretty obvious the resentment there, and now its just fully come out.

1. Rollo's remarks are very disappointing. Hopefully you, and he can hash this out like men, shake hands, keep whatever this thing is moving forward.

2. Why not monetize your work? That's the American way. I'm a paid member because I see the value.

These pussies were getting emotionally sucked dry by the chicks who friendzoned them throughout high school while Roosh was running DC bachelor and coming up with the strategies to change their lives.

The sheer lack of respect is astounding and it shows me they all need their hands held on not just how to get laid, but on how to behave as men.

That community will turn on itself before long.
