Interesting that all of those threads are locked.

Maybe his cult leader game is why?

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - Off The Reservation - 06-07-2016 10:07 AM

That was a pretty deft mass thread closing. twisted

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - RexImperator - 06-07-2016 01:09 PM

Perhaps all those other threads should be merged into this one?

It was considered, but the problem is that most thread replies don't reference the original post, so merging those 17 threads together would just create a confusing mess.

Surprised nobody has checked out his wife...

This is good, gets into a lot of the nuances of SMV with a very bright young black woman who's dating a white guy. She wants kids but wants her kids to be black.

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - 911 - 06-11-2016 10:35 PM

I trashed him on one of the previous threads, but since then I'll admit I've heard a lot of his material that is excellent. Well-presented and well-researched stuff on a variety of subjects like climate change or Black families. He still has his limitations, but I'll give him that.

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - CactusCat589 - 06-12-2016 05:05 AM

Stefan fits into the overall machinery of the alt-right in that he's more of a listener. He engages with people - this is important because it shows a willingness to hear out the other side or the skeptics, which transcends everything else in terms of converting people. Roosh is the revolutionary mind that outright challenges the system on the frontlines. though he just had the one interview with a feminist. Sargon of Akkad is the intellectual tearing down the SJW hordes from the Internet, a disembodied voice. Roosh and Sargon are conduits of the masculine need to follow true ideals and for men to channel their outrage. Stefan is more a listener. And he's the only one who's willing to hear out women (or at least who consistently hosts him).

I mean, when it comes down to it, it's really those three guys who have a significant presence and following on the Internet and have the most social capital. I don't know if he's the best person to fill this role. But all three have a role to play.

I don't know how you guys can watch him anymore. His videos are just so universally negative and depressing now. I always half expect his next video to be "So I've Decided to Off Myself".

Doom porn sells. If we're honest, this forum has some of it. I'm probably guilty of posting it, or contributing to it.

Definition of doom porn: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=doom%20porn
Quote: Articles or videos online (prevalently in the blogosphere) that mainly talk about the collapse of either the financial world or the world in its entirety. People can develop a fascination/addiction reading about this stuff (much like people who watch regular porn).

Just read an article over at <popular, bleeding edge financial website> to read about how the dollar is going to take a shit. I had to get my doom porn fix for the day.

Edit: Some might say Stefan and/or parts of the forum are raising awareness. That's great, but I'd counter that Stefan and/or parts of the forum emphasize that too much over taking action - aside from asking others to change for you.

Molyneux had Vox Day on yesterday. Good chat with a mentioning of "Free Speech Isn't Free" and Roosh's evolution (starts at 1:06 mark).

Also talks a bit about Mike.

I've always thought he's gotta be an RVF'er.

I wonder what his screen name is? I bet he is some banned user with 10000 posts like houston or cardguy or something.

Girl sounds really cool. Based on conversation, WB. Need pics.

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - amity - 06-23-2016 02:55 PM

There's a guy I follow on Twitter called Brandon Martinez, he's done some excellent interviews on Red Ice Radio re the destructiveness of mass migration and Zionism's key role in promoting this, however he is not a fan of Stefan or anyone in the alt-right or even libertarian camps, he really has a go at him here and Mike Cernovich too.
Am not sure how to take this, as I see the vast majority of Stefan's output as positive, but I'm aware that I might not be the most objective source on the matter.
Thoughts?

That video is for a school board in Brussels and it was uploaded in February of 2015. So Molyneux is in Canada but his wife works in Belgium for a school board?

I agree he has a generally negative viewpoint in modern life for men in general. His message isn't so different from that of Roosh, except Molyneux doesn't furnish any self improvement techniques.

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - praxguy - 06-24-2016 05:34 AM

I'd love to attack Stefan for all his flaws (he complained to Vox Day that his "brilliant" novel wasn't published by a reputable author because of SJWs 10-15 years ago when he first wrote it, even though price alone can factor in a lot of the explanation at over $40 sale price), but I'll merely invite you guys to listen to the most relevant topic for this forum: next time Stefan talks about a beautiful woman, pay attention to how quickly he uses moralistic words like "unvirtuous", "evil", and "bad" and I think what you will conclude is that there is a very intelligent and frustrated gamma being sucked out of an alpha and fueled by young angry men who fuel the echo chamber with their views and support.

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - Huxley Badkin - 06-24-2016 05:45 AM

No-one posted his latest yet? Biggrin

RE: The Stefan Molyneux Thread - praxguy - 06-24-2016 02:31 PM

Here's Stef's message to young men in a nutshell (this isn't a new position or anything, all I had to do was start listening to his latest show).

This video was idiotic. I listened to a few minutes of it and it's just a bunch of weird epithets.
"Bogus". "Right-wing". "Zio-Con". "Repulitard." "Christian Zionist". "Retard".
^- And all of those were from ONE sentence!

If someone's video is nothing but insults, it's because they don't have anything useful to say. After 3-4 minutes I'm still not sure what the "real issues" are that he's complaining about, and I don't care to stick around and listen to another fifty or sixty playground taunts just to find out.

Follow better people on twitter.
