A woman has been killed and two others have been injured in a machete attack near Stuttgart in Germany.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the attack in the small city of Reutlingen in the south-west of the country.

German newspaper Bild reported the man struck outside a kebab shop, causing several witnesses to flee in panic.

An eyewitness told the tabloid: "The attacker was completely out of his mind. He ran with the machete behind a police patrol car".

He said a passing BMW managed to run him over and afterwards he "lay prostrate on the ground and didn't move".

Unconfirmed reports have said the female victim worked at the kebab shop.

The motive for the attack is currently unclear.

It comes as Germany is on edge following two attacks in the past week.

A teenager went on a rampage in a Munich mall on Friday evening, killing nine, and an Afghan teenager attempted to attack train passengers with an axe in Bavaria before being shot dead by police last week.

Oh those pesky Buddhists!

Edit: Finally managed to be the first one to say that on a thread. Now lets hope I'm not wrong.

Nice they're keeping it creative though Rolleyes. I guess bombing and shooting is kinda a bit passé now, so they're mixing it up so they don't get labeled copycatters by their muslim buddies.

According to Bild, he is a 21 year-old asylum seeker from Syria. He is known to the police. The woman he killed worked in the kebab shop.

If you really think about it, such crimes aren't that unheard of in the backwater towns these animals are from so it makes sense we start seeing more of this.

I propose a new law for Germany. No news outlet or person or forum shall be allowed to discuss these attacks.

Problem solved.

I guess we really are about to see daily terror attacks in Germany, France and Sweden.

Un-fucking-believable.

RE: Machete Attack near Stuttgart, Germany: 1 killed, 2 injured - Alpha_Romeo - 07-24-2016 12:26 PM

This incident doesn't appear to be of terrorist nature, but still if he was known to police then that certainly can't be a good thing, so why is it that he hasn't been deported already?

If you still aren't working towards living behind hefty walls or in some sort of guarded apartment building in 10 years time, I think now is the time to start.

Moral of the story: don't go near a kebab shop.

I think inevitably people will stop buying food at these places as they will associate negative and dangerous feelings with the people running these businesses even if they have nothing to do with it.

Many established middle eastern foreigners who have lived in germany for decades may find themselves going out of business soon.....which will cause even more problems.

Germany's reaction on this attack:

Just last week I saw those same Germans bragging about their tight gun laws... I guess we need to ban trucks, axes, knifes and machetes now. It's hard to feel bad for the Krauts after reading things like this.

Sweden joins in on the drama in their own typical way.

Well, today I learned that Marxist squatters in Germany see a pregnant woman being hacked to death with a machete

and

"stabbings"

as equivalent.

What is the deal with kebab shops? When I moved to the UK for a few years and lived in a small town in the early 2000's there was like only one on the high street and it seemed like it no one ever went in it.

A couple of friends visited from New York and I joked that it was a front for something else and one of the New Yorkers looked at it and said, "No, seriously."

Are these things subsidized or what? Any UK members care to explain the phenomenon? Are they sleeper cells for machete attacks?

We were told that die-versity would bring us exotic food. Here's a story from vibrant 2007 England.

Quote:Missing girl's body 'put into kebab'

A schoolgirl was murdered by a fast food shop owner who joked that she had been "chopped up" and put into kebabs, a court was told yesterday.

The prosecution alleged at Preston Crown Court that Charlene Downes, 14, was killed by Iyad Albattikhi, 29, owner of a food shop in Blackpool, who had sex with her.

No trace of Charlene's body has ever been found.

Mr Holroyde told the jury that a witness had heard Albattikhi and others talking about her.

"These people were talking about sex with white girls, and there was mention of having sex with Charlene," he said.

"Albattikhi laughed and said she was very small - the plainest possible indication that he was lying to the police when he said he did not know her. He and others present then laughingly said that Charlene had gone into the kebabs."
