Dallas woman allegedly ruins $300,000 worth of art on first date with lawyer

Authorities said Lindy Lou Layman, 29, tore down several paintings and poured red wine on some while yelling obscenities after she got too intoxicated on a date with prominent Houston trial lawyer Anthony Buzbee.

Quote:HOUSTON—Authorities say an intoxicated Dallas woman who was on a first date with a prominent Houston trial lawyer caused at least $300,000 in damage to his art collection, including two Andy Warhol paintings.

Lindy Lou Layman, 29, was arrested Saturday on criminal mischief charges after her date with Anthony Buzbee. She was released on $30,000 bond. Online court records don’t list an attorney for her.

Prosecutors say Buzbee, 49, told investigators that Layman got too intoxicated on their date, so he called her an Uber after they returned to his home. Buzbee said Layman refused to leave and hid inside the home, and that when he found her and called a second Uber, she got aggressive.

Authorities said she tore down several paintings and poured red wine on some while yelling obscenities. She also allegedly threw two $20,000 sculptures across the room and shattered them.

The damaged Warhol paintings were each valued at $500,000 in court documents.

Wow... She's a real looker.

If you had a million dollars of just art in your house, what is your bank roll, and why would you bring that disgusting thing back to your home?

Over under that she parties with Tina?

Oh, this was a "date" at his house. Maybe they met at the esteemed online dating site Backpage.com?

It could be natural. It could be methamphetamine...

Laymen rarely appreciate fine art.

29 and her best years are behind her

This is Texas. He could have just shot her.

Also, and I know this because I mingle with high society art world people, if you have Warhols you are an art poseur. He's an amateur just showing off.

Aloha!

she has make up on but it doesn't quite cover the meth-marks.

Yes.

I would "paint" her face white.

The nutrients in my man gravy may help with those zits too, GOT DAMN.

For our first date, I would take her to an art gallery event with an open bar.

If he had gamed her properly, she wouldn't have had the time to run around smashing his art.

But if he had any game in the first place, he wouldn't have even attempted to use it on this Chernobyl victim.

Sounds like a collection of modern art.

...And so nothing of value was lost that day.

WB

Nobody's mugshot looks good, especially after a long night of heavy drinking. Those zits are the only bad look, and they can get covered with makeup.

The backstory here is more interesting than the story. The guy, 20 years older than her, takes her back to his place and at some point she goes drunk psycho. Bad game or Crazy Hooker?

She looks like you would expect her to look done up with the face paint. Those near wall blondies never look all that good in the natural element and those marks look like they may be botox inertion spots as they don't resemble freckles.

Conditional WB. The Contingency:
The Bonde must have booty.

This attorney sounds too connected, he either has old money or knows too much.

Quote:Then-candidate Donald Trump also visited his home last year when Buzbee held a fundraiser and donated $250,000 to Trump's presidential campaign.

Nice house for a lawyer:

Might Bang depending on which version shows up, this one or the methhead.

I assume, based on that goofy smile from her mugshot, that she took an anti-depressant or tranquilizer before or during the date and the alcohol didn't mix well with it. She appears to have still been as high as a kite when they took her to the pokey.

Just realized that she is from Dallas and this took place in Houston. That's over 200 miles. I'm thinking a SA girl or something even less subtle.

Let's be real dude - this crazy ass meth head was probably an escort the lawyer picked up.

Poor choice on his part - this dude could get any dime piece he wanted.

Those spots are probably from the “pickin’ Pox.” It’s a condition that tweakers develop from picking at various spots on their bodies while under the influence of meth. (BTW, its not really a condition, it just severely damaged skin that results from picking and lack of good hygiene.)

"Lindy Lou Layman"

Gotta' admit, that sounds like a stage name.

First off she is on cocaine not meth, she is classy like that.Second off Seeking Arrangement is clearly on a downward spiral.....

It is amazing, even drugged out of her mind, she knew exactly which things to destroy to cause the most distress.

It's like animal intuition.

When my sister used to neglect her cat, the cat would destroy only the things that meant the most to her.
