Happy Memorial Day - LINUX - 05-27-2019 01:24 PM

One of the saddest days of the year.

Thank you to all the people who fought and died so my family and I can enjoy our freedom and safety in the greatest country in the world.

With love and gratitude, I pay my respect to you.

We miss you.

Happy memorial day, man.

Happy Memorial Day!

May these endless, useless wars on behalf of Israel end someday, and no more young Americans get killed, maimed or traumatized!

American

Saddest day of the year?

I usually hang out with my buddies grilling meats and BBQ, as does every other American.

They won't. We have the incessant need to impose our will and morality on those people that we consider lesser than ourselves who also happen to have abundant resources that we require to fuel our propaganda driven consumerist machine.

I feel sorry for the soldiers and patriots that gave their lives hoping that life would be better for future generations. Sadly that decision is above our pay grade.

New interviews with Atomic Bombs testing veterans - they had to keep it secret for 50 years. They were used as guinea pigs.

Memorial Day? (((They))) have a pretty good racket based on what good American men went through.

RE: Happy Memroial Day - RWIsrael - 05-28-2019 02:01 AM

Here's to the fallen. Thank you for your service and the ultimate sacrifice you've made.

No American soldier ever fought my wars for me or my father or my grandfather. I have enough friends and relatives of my own I commemorate every year whose sacrifice will attest to that.
May I ask that you cut it out with that shit at least in this thread that is meant to honor those who gave their lives?

are you joking or seriously believe that?

anyway, I feel sorry for all the soldiers that (unconsciously) let their life for this evil powers.

Thanks Linux.

There is a sadness that hangs over memorial day for me as well, despite the BBQs and good times spent with family and friends.

Some of you need to resist the urge to post dumb shit in threads like this and let us have a memorial day thread in peace.

RE: Happy Memroial Day - 911 - 05-28-2019 09:34 AM

You can on one hand respectfully acknowledge and grieve the dead from recent wars for Israel, and on the other understand the nature and motives of these wars.

This is an especially critical point to make since we're on the verge of starting another large war for Israel, with potentially thousands more grieving in America, and hundreds of thousands dying in the Middle East.

R.I.P.

Quote: Iraq had no dangerous "weapons of mass destruction," and posed no threat to the US. Moreover, alarmist suggestions that the Baghdad regime was working with the al-Qaeda terror network likewise proved to be without foundation.

So if the official reasons given for the war were untrue, why did the United States attack Iraq?

Whatever the secondary reasons for the war, the crucial factor in President Bush's decision to attack was to help Israel. With support from Israel and America's Jewish-Zionist lobby, and prodded by Jewish "neo-conservatives" holding high-level positions in his administration, President Bush - who was already fervently committed to Israel - resolved to invade and subdue one of Israel's chief regional enemies.

This is so widely understood in Washington that US Senator Ernest Hollings was moved in May 2004 to acknowledge that the US invaded Iraq "to secure Israel," and "everybody" knows it. He also identified three of the influential pro-Israel Jews in Washington who played an important role in prodding the US into war: Richard Perle, chair of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board; Paul Wolfowitz, Deputy Defense Secretary; and Charles Krauthammer, columnist and author. [1]

Hollings referred to the cowardly reluctance of his Congressional colleagues to acknowledge this truth openly, saying that "nobody is willing to stand up and say what is going on." Due to "the pressures we get politically," he added, members of Congress uncritically support Israel and its policies.

RE: Happy Memorial Day - LINUX - 05-28-2019 01:50 PM

It is really sad that this forum has come to a point where we can't even have a "Happy Memorial Day" thread to pay our respect to the fallen without you guys talking about jews, evil powers, Israel, and politics.

This pretty much sums up my feelings regarding this:

Take care guys.

You have to keep a bit of thought behind your feelings, otherwise you're vulnerable to being manipulated, especially when dealing with a highly charged emotional subject like mourning fallen soldiers.

Saddam, Assad and the mullah in Iran aren't a threat to our freedom and our futures, the surveillance state and the $6 trillion we've spend post-9/11 in mideast wars are.

RamZ's take yesterday on Memorial Day:

RE: Happy Memorial Day - RDF - 05-28-2019 05:15 PM

^ Who said that any of those people are a threat to our futures? This isn't a thread about debating the legitimacy of past wars or discussing whether to engage in future ones. It is to honor the scores of American soldiers, who were also fathers, sons, relatives, and friends, who have died while serving for the United States. There's plenty of other threads to discuss the former two topics.

RE: Happy Memorial Day - Soundbyte - 05-28-2019 07:38 PM

Linux set the tone of this thread, which was remembering our fallen warriors. It was painfully obvious that memorial day meant much more than politics to him. If people want to speak about politics, make a thread in the politics section.

RE: Happy Memorial Day - Sidney Crosby - 05-29-2019 12:35 AM

Crazy that a thread on here dedicated to remembering fallen soldiers turns into one of "those threads"

Wtf

My thoughts drift back to erect-nipple wet dreams about Mary Jane Rottencrotch and the Great Homecoming Fuck Fantasy.
