"The constitution is not a relevant document right now" - tugofpeace - 06-16-2019 11:46 AM

I saw a scary clip from a SJW a while ago. See below:

Although the guy is just a dumb college kid, I'm pretty sure there are adults stupid enough to believe the same thing regarding the constitution. And although adults working in congress probably aren't stupid enough to even say something like this to their coworkers and try to enforce it, the next generation that will work in politics is growing up on social media which subliminally perpetuates this kind of thinking.

Is it even possible that something this retarded would ever be enforced in the US?

If you don't know what I'm referring to, the kid at 0:04 in the video says "the constitution is not a relevant document right now, therefore Ben Shapiro shouldn't be allowed to speak".

Guy deserves bodily harm IMO.

The constitution is not relevant.

Modify your AR to function as per a standard infantry M4A1 then show it to the ATF and see what happens.

The only thing anyone is arguing now is precisely how much the constitution is not relevant.

I agree, the constitution is not relevant. Liberals use this as reason to steamroll further ahead, Conservatives black pillers use this as a reason to entrench.

The only morons are the "republican" type conservatives who think that they can rely on the constitution as a defense.

The constitution might only matter if you are involved in a case at the US supreme court. Otherwise, the police and local judge are your 'constitution'

Exactly. God forbid someone lands in the hands of the US justice system and sees how it works day to day. The system top to bottom says fuck the constitution.
They only reason we are not all in mass graves or in dungeons is because lawyers make a living fighitng back.

Has it ever been relevant at a local / municipal level?

If it has never mattered, then as the old adage goes, the more things change the more they stay the same.

Some libtwat or globalist footsoldier can spout off about how a crusty piece of paper is irrelevant and will crumble like a heap of dry leaves in the face of their advancing (((progress))) but at the same time, there is nothing stopping someone from reacting to their unconstitutional advancement in an unconstitutional manner that would halt or reverse said (((progress))).

They better be careful what they wish for. If the constitution is truly a drab scribe of parchment devoid of all legislative and judicial authority then there is very little preventing someone with opposing views to their sanctimonious lunacy from cleaning the streets with their faces when push comes to shove.

It's left to be relevant as a benchmark for what went right, what went wrong, and why.

Perhaps the next lot can take notes and do better.

It's still got that bit about prying from your cold dead hands (I know, it doesn't literally). That could be the final sticking point and spark for the conflagration which would be a nice sendoff for America 1.0.
