Jerry Falwell Jr. to Take ‘Leave of Absence’ from Role at Liberty University

Man, I always feel bad when millionaires have these kind of problems. It really puts thing in perspective for me. </sarcasm off>

I read that book sometime ago. I'll have to look that one up. Thanks for the tip!

    The Joe Rogan thread

I've not watched every interview, but I did enjoy his interviews with Jesse Ventura and Graham Hancock. There were a couple of others ones I liked to but can't remember right now. He does have a lot of nice material though I do question his politics. At least he is not an ass with his subjects...

I'm gentler, kinder, Pinochet. I was trying to take a playbook from the Zen like Ron Paul. I know he is not a leftist, so there would be no value to pushing him out of a helicopter.

I'm not a bitter agnostic but a realist along the lines of Captain Capitalism. Again, I realize you are too dense and dishonest to understand what I was saying. Maybe you could apologize sometime for misrepresenting my position. It would be the Christian thing to do.

Bucky is one of those 'holier than thou' types. Everything worked out for him or so he says, so obviously everyone's track record should do the same. I can't see any value that he provided to this thread.

    2020 South American Expat Thread

Wow! Leftist stupidity is worldwide and has no ethnic or language boundaries. Admittedly, I'm frustrated with corporatized economic system here in the US, primarily banking which negatively impacts us, but I know the alternative would be worse. I was able make out some of the article since I can...

And what value did you provide bucky? You made a bunch of asinine assumptions about my positions and as an alleged Christian, misrepresented what I was saying. I can't help it you are too dense to understand my point of view though you don't agree and which is fine. I simply made the point...

    Joe Biden thread

Most Americans are too stupid to vote or much less own private property. Few are worthy of living under the Bill of Rights with people who can genuinely keep it. It's too bad we can't start by repealing women's suffrage.

I'm not a general, and don't act as one on TV, but I like the Pinochet memes of him dumping commies/leftist out of a helicopter.

    Fasting

I've never bought his products, but he does say some interesting things and points to research confirming the benefits of fasting and low carb and no sugar diet. https://roguehealthandfitness.com/ Joseph Mercola is also pretty good.

Where did I say that I'm making a statement or poking the system by not having children? Do any of you people read the threads? Sure, I would like to have had a woman that's worth a damn for something, then yes, why not. I'm sure as hell not doing it if it involves divorce and me eating out of a...

    Libertarian Party discussion

I would say the closest America had to libertarian-ism was the America of the early 19th century. Maybe if you pressed it, even up to early 1900's, but even then more stuff was starting to become regulated. But for the most part, few Americans had any interaction with the federal government...

    U.S. Supreme Court nominations

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/11/laurence-m-vance/what-the-republicans-could-have-done/ That's one issue with Trump is that he has no real limited government principles. He will tweak some things but not work outright to abolish it. Granted, he needs help from Congress, but none of this...

    The Honk pill (Clown World)

When I first saw this report, or something similar, I thought surely at first this was something from The Onion or Babylon Bee, but no, it was the real deal. The stupidity of allegedly educated functioning adults is clownish beyond belief at times. I wished sometimes I could be a...

I did not begin attacking your hero on this forum or using f-bombs.. To be blunt, I read him partially for entertainment value since I don't really want to be lectured from those who had a nice bang or two or more, and then want to lecture about the awesomeness of chastity. I don't care what sex...

No one said dying alone is a wonderful way to go. And where the hell are all these 'Christian virgins'? As an older guy, I'd be happy with an FWB set up with a woman; it's the way to go if you are not having kids with her. I'm more of an agnostic and not much for religion. Besides, Christians...

Exactly! But no one said go live like a homeless bum. I certainly like a warm shower, potable water, good adult beverages to drink, a car, and so forth. I don't have have 3000 sq ft. cardboard shack to have those things, so minimalism is a good way to go.

If I could have found the right woman, sure, why not? But the reality is that most marriages end in divorce usually instigated by the woman. And the court gives her half your stuff, assuming you have anything to give. I don't believe divorce is always a great deal for the children.
