The female at 1:55 makes a very coherent point about why the poster is terrible. I thought it was a good poster until I heard her wise words. My only criticism is that she didn't use air quotes at any point like the female before her. If she had, her argument would have been slightly stronger. I'm glad women can vote.

I've written before about how leftists and Muslims both view each other as useful idiots. It's not like liberals don't understand that what Islam teaches conflicts with their values. They just choose to ignore it because Islam is a useful weapon against their most hated enemy - the white, Christian male. Leftists believe that Muslims will drop their religious values over time and convert to the religion of globohomo. Muslims (at least the ones liberals talk to) are happy to play along with the leftist fantasy of multicultural tolerance for the time being. They know their day is coming and the demographics on their side, especially in Europe.

What does the guy posting flyers think Islam is?



Women do have rights in Islam, but we recognize that they are different to men in physiology and psychology (and the sociological consequences of the differences). We do not try to force them to be men.

Spiritually, they have the same duties as men: six articles of belief, five pillars of practice, studying the religion, reading the Qur'an etc.

The sexes are warned not to imitate one another as a guideline. Men are not allowed to wear silk or gold or be deliberately effeminate for example. Women are not to ape men.

A few notes:

Hijab

Keywords:
Hijab - Literally barrier
Awrah - The body parts to cover (in presence of others)
Mahram - A member of opposite sex forbidden to marry (e.g. family members)
Non-mahram - A member of the opposite sex allowed to marry (e.g. strangers)
Dayyouth - indifferent to immorality of women

Your Hijab covers your Awrah.

The male awrah is everything between the navel and the knees. This is the bare minimum to cover but usually, men cover more than this.

The female awrah in front of other females is the same, but again this is the bare minimum and it is very strongly disliked for a woman to uncover everything other than between the navel and the knees in front of other women.

In front of mahram males it is the whole body, except the whole head, neck, forearms and feet. In public, in front of non-mahram males, the entire body except the face and the hands up to the wrists is awrah.

Usually uncovering the awrah inappropriately leads to embarrassment and loss of honor if done continuously. Being known for sin also causes dishonor. Some ethnic groups and tribes deal with the loss of honor by marrying off the dishonored person with other dishonored persons. This is tribal and cultural.

Others deal with dishonor violently by borrowing from their pre-Islamic ethnic honor code. This is not Islamic at all.

Consciously removing the hijab in public is an act of disobedience to God spiritually. Socially (and materially), for women, it is an act of hypogamy, they are unlikely to even want to do it. Violating the hijab reduces ones social value and people will want to associate less with one.

Women and men are not allowed to freely mix and mingle as this violates hijab.

In Sharia, women are free to pursue any hobby as long as this does not cause them to sin or violate hijab.

Some communities are too poor to organize many hobbies for women without violating hijab. Separate problem.

Family
Mothers have a lot of respect and rights in Islam. They are emphasized three times more than fathers when it comes to duties.

In marriage, the man is charged with taking full care of the wife (according to his means). He is not even allowed to count on her having her own wealth, expenses of the household come from his wealth. Women have to obey their husband as their leader (as long as this does not lead to disobedience to Allah).

Punishments (for either sex) for fornication, adultery, sodomy and other crimes of this kind require four eye-witnesses of the same act, a court and a qualified judge at the minimum.

This does not punish personal sins and drama, one repents to God for these. You would have to have a long view count or confess against yourself to get convicted and incur full the punishment. Only publicly engaging in this behavior will put one in court.

It makes industry based in sin impossible.

It's amazing that something that simple would cause enough stress to get on the news. It shows how mentally fragile people are becoming. The ambiguity is a nice psychological touch, because they don't know whether they should be upset or not, because they aren't sure what it means, which adds to the stress. The poster probably knew something about NLP, which teaches how to use ambiguity.

This is a big smokescreen to divert media attention away from the fact that the town of Winchester is being overrun by Australians. I counted two in that video.

The fact that this question is being asked without irony shows how off-course our country has gotten. People don't seem to understand that anything can qualify as hate speech. Once you've recognized hate speech as a concept, you're on your way to getting rid of free speech.

That said, I don't think most of the people in this video understood the irony in that sign. I just think they thought "Sign bad!" like they think "Red hat bad!" We're giving them too much credit to assume they thought this through. Most Americans don't seem capable of complex thought anymore -- something exemplified by how dumbed-down popular entertainment had gotten.

The immediate trigger for many drones coming across this message is that they can instantly tell it was put there by someone without the social authority to express themselves publicly. Either the authority of the state or the authority of wealth.

SJWs tend to see the world more in terms of power dynamics than actual good and evil.

Any group that has a power advantage over another group is deemed an oppressor even if the group being oppressed harbors despicable attitudes and commits evil acts. You see this most dramatically with the Palestinians and Israelis like that idiot woman who went over there and got herself run over by a tractor. There are even extreme liberals who literally make apologies for violence. These people are no better than fascists on the other extreme who make apologies for genocide.

The sympathy is extended in almost knee-jerk fashion to underdogs regardless of how these groups lead their lives. And in the name of avoiding prejudice, these groups are given way too much benefit of the doubt. Since many ethnic groups in the past were unfairly maligned, they naively assume every group is equally virtuous and benign to society. That's just how it is. It's a very simplistic view of the world.
