Your ability to actually quit depends on how things are going in your life. For example, is there a girl you can bang - this helps a lot. Are you stressed out from work - doesn't help. You need the other factors in your life to be working for you not against you.

Personally, I just quit cold. Delete all the porn and all sites. Don't make it easy to access it. Do whatever you need to go get out instead of being in front of a computer. Exercise more. Limit your masturbating to about one or twice a week IF you are not banging anyone. Whenever you feel the need to masturbate go and try to get a girl. Refocus that urge on women and gaming.

So, I'm doing this experiment because I want to see how I do without it. Basically, I've chronically masturbated and looked at pornography since I was 11. In order to reroute my brain chemistry, should I just go cold turkey for a while or can I still do it, say once a week or so? I'm afraid that if I decide to do it then I'm going to give in and keep doing it more than once a week.
