I went 129 days by keeping a post-it on my laptop which read:

"For Jennifer Dixon, ensure your Dick's on.
129 days to Feb 1"

It was cheesy - a pathetic rhyming attempt at best - but it gave me the motivation. Jennifer was a girl I met while visiting friends abroad, and she was the first girl whom I have ever had real, genuine attraction to. Of course, after suffering from delayed ejaculation with 15+ girls as it was then (think more like 20+ now), I knew that I had to make a serious change.

Since then, I've been on and off relapsing into porn/fapping.

Going away to Asia for 7 weeks helped, and my next trip is for 10 weeks so I'm sure I won't fap or watch porn then.

The results from not using porn should not be underestimated: stronger erections, increased sex drive, increased confidence, increased focus, increased time, not feeling like its emotionally cheating on someone, and honestly, it even makes me happy to know I'm not ensuring that women in the industry are abused. What's the trade off? A little bit of pleasure. It's totally worth it.

Before I turn on porn I just remind myself of the immense self-loathing I feel every time I'm done with it. Porn is toxic - end of story.

Good luck, gentleman.

(PS - PM me if you wish to find me on the forums as well)

You better quit porn for no one but for yourself. Nothing wrong about eventually meeting an awesome girl and keeping her in your personal hall of fame but you always risk pedestalizing her - which in this case happened when you started this challenge for HER. Get out of that ONEities or you might develop mental issues that will hurt your game and certainly not even help you to improve your DE problems.

Concerning the other things you write about porn, I have to strongly disagree. It was never my motivation to stop watching that shit because it felt like "emotionally cheating on someone". No man should ever feel ashamed because he gets a boner from seeing a hot woman. It'd rather be a pity if he doesn't. Getting sexually aroused by more than one woman is how nature engineered us. To deny this triviality and turn it into feelings of shame will be detrimental to your mental health, no matter if, for some reason, you decide to stay faithful to a woman or not.

You can't be serious about pitying porn actresses. While it should be obvious that there are incidents of real abuse in the business, you can be pretty sure that all the Belladonnas and Sasha Grays out there began their careers and do these extreme sex scenes on a voluntary basis. They earn shit tons of money and no one forces these broads to shoot a gang bang. Spare your sympathy for those who are actually abused, tortured, disenfranchised and killed.

I wish you luck with quitting porn. Just don't do the right thing for the wrong reasons.
