RE: High quality Zebra linked to healthy gut flora?
This caught my eye because I had zebra fillet steak for dinner today, first time I've ever tried it.

There's a local farm shop here that does a side line in exotic frozen meat from South Africa, so I bought some zebra and crocodile cuts out of curiosity.

The zebra steak was good, much better than I expected, and I'd buy it again. It has a lighter taste than beef, but still succulent and delicious - you can cook it the same way you would cow meat so I had mine medium-rare and salted. Not sure if I'd choose it over a chateaubriand or a ribeye if it was on the menu in a good steakhouse, but it compares very well and the more subtle taste of zebra makes for a pleasant change.
