Um, yeah, because talking to a middle-aged cab driver is a great way of knowing what girls in their 20s are attracted to.

You may have lived in Philippines but your post shows that you're pretty out of touch when it comes to Asian culture and current trends.

It's stupid to focus on race, period, but if we're gonna go there, it's clear that K guys have the biggest advantage among the Asian races. Chinese guys are known for being stable and good providers while Japanese guys are somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, Chinese has more history, but you're focusing on the wrong things. Pop culture and social trends have a much more important impact on what attracts girls than economic power and national history, although your theory might hold more weight in a third-world country like the Phils.

This past trip to Korea I've seen a ton of decent white girls (7s and even a few 8s) with Korean guys. This wasn't the case even a few years ago.

Girls from all Asian countries (and the Philippines) watch Korean dramas or listen to K-pop. You can't say this for any other Asian country.

Also, all of my Korean friends have always told me how much comments they get when they go to SEA countries. Even Japanese/Chinese chicks love Korean guys, one time I met a Japanese girl who was studying abroad in Korea and I asked her why she was studying there and she said "because I like Korean guys."

I'm not Korean so I have no interest in this topic. If anything I think it's annoying how K guys get an extra bump because of their race, knowing that a lot of them do not fit the image in the dramas and movies at all.

However, it's just a fact that K guys have the biggest advantage on average (in Asia), and saying anything other than that shows that you don't know much about Asian culture aside from the bubble you're in.

As for my own experience, I've had extended stays in Taipei, Beijing, and Seoul and met girls from pretty much every Asian country out there. So I do think I am qualified to comment on this topic.

And you can go to Shanghai and find stunning white girls with Chinese guys. Whats your point? So you meet girls who like Korean guys who live in Korea? Isn't that obvious.

Quote:one time I met a Japanese girl who was studying abroad in Korea and I asked her why she was studying there and she said "because I like Korean guys."

Exactly my point once again. Niche girls for niche game.

Are you saying the average girl in Beijing or Taipei is going to put a Korean guy +1. Zero chance. The idea that the average filipina or mainlander watches K-Pop is laughable considering they love their Telenovas here and the mainlanders love their Chinese drama shows.

And yes, I am basing it off living in a 3rd world country like the Phils and other SEA countries. Cause this is Asia we are talking about, not Korea.

Again failing to get back to my point that most 7.5-8+ in SEA countries have Chinese blood, its no advantage to be Korean. I may concede for the your average 6, sure Korean guys get more notice, but that's because they are PALE more then the fact they are Korean. How would a girl on the street know a guy is Korean vs Japanese vs Chinese.

Also Korean guys are definitely known here to whore monger and sponsor, this is common knowledge in the Phil. This is not just one cab driver, this is with multiple conversation along a wide spectrum of people. Hell, this one old white guy I talked to in my complex complained how the Koreans were driving the prices up.

I wouldn't be surprised if a sponsor situation was the same in South Korea. I am sure its happening a lot in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

FYI there is no "Asian" culture as each region has their own tradition and values. What you may define as Asian culture is based off your limited experience and time in a certain area. I am sure Jay Chau is much more well known then G-Dragon, in certain areas and vice versa.

To make it very simple this is what I consider a general scale, feel free to correct me.

3rd World:

SEA (Myammar, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.) - Pale skin +1 (Chinese/Korean/Japanese/White)

More developed:

China -1 if you dont speak Mandarin
Hong Kong -2 if you speak Mandarin (they hate the "locusts"), +1 if you're a local
Singapore - Widely diverse, hard to say, depends on niche you are targetting
Japan -1.5 if you don't speak Japanese
Korea -2 if you don't speak Korean
Taiwan -1.5 if you don't speak Mandarin

Important caveat we are talking about average girl on the street, not your tinder / club niche girl.
