It's a huge fight, with massive media. He needed to explicitly have that in writing otherwise he was just being ignorant to the process. Conor won't be controlling the media circus. The implication is that Conor dropped him but Paulie stated he was shoved [Which would be closer to the truth]. This wasn't an area I thought about too much but shoving typically only comes with a warning. I imagine we can expect a lot of this on fight night. Floyd on the canvas, irrespective of how he got there looks good for Conor [His chances of winning are 0.01% So the little things add up re saving face].

Damn, you think they would've paid him off a little to go along with the ruse, or at the very least just to keep quiet and exit gracefully. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic that this isn't going affect the betting lines - too many people are emotionally invested in rooting on a Mayweather loss to be put off by something like this. Maybe if a video surfaced of the event where Connor allegedly got KTFO'd by Bradley Wheeler...
