Hey guys,

work is stupid busy at the moment. I get home and crash asap, get up and do it again so haven't had time for an update.

But I wanted to drop a line on a trade that no one thinks about.

Powerlineman.

These guys are the other side of electricity. An electrician deals with low to medium voltage power. Basically distribution.

Powerlineman deal with transmission. The ultra high volatage powerlines.

250-750 KV. That's serious shit.

Lineman are like the cowboys of the trade. It's very dangerous, they get paid extremely well, after danger pay is added it can add up to $100/hr and here, you get to fly in helicopters. But you are on call, work outside always and it is very dangerous.
