I'm a Canadian journeryman carpenter and been trying for months to land a position.

Yea, I'm at Noralta at the moment, working on a powerline job between Voyageur and Suncor.

I hear the Unions in BC are terrible, I know one guy who payed his dues for 15 years in BC without ever as much as a phone call from the hall.
You need to come to either Calgary or Edmonton to join the halls there.
Plenty of work right now, Ironically enough they even have postings for jobs up at fort Nelson.

Are you staying at the Noralta camp at the top of supertest hill? If so, nice camp!

Don’t sweat the petty things, pet the sweaty things.
