Any job a guy does in the oil sands, there's women doing them too although you'll see less women in the more labour intensive trades such as welder, pipefitter, iron worker, boiler maker, scaffolder, etc. Lots of women doing industrial insulation, operating heavy equipment and the big huge mining trucks. As you can imagine most of the cleaners (room attendants) are women, as are a lot of the security staff, kitchen staff, medical, etc. Lots of women in the offices from reception/secretarial to planning (booking flights, camp rooms, etc).

There's a decent amount of female engineers too, basically if a woman takes a degree or diploma in any engineering discipline and wants a job in the oil sands, she won't have a problem getting one, from what I've seen, its encouraged.
