Going abroad without a job or skills is a recipe for disaster. Even skilled guys in the US have trouble finding difficulty going to Canada.

True, he has the benefits of the GI bill so what he needs to do is pick up a trade in the states and take it from there. Pisses me off, here's a war vet that can't even get hired at an egg farm in Arizona and gets booted from Canada, mean while other companies here are bursting at the seams with foreign labor. Then again, it's not the company's obligation to hire since he isn't bringing a skill to the table.
