I know a guy that sells seo services and pocketing 70k (last I spoke with him) a month.

He has the whole process down to where he doesn't do much.

What's his niche?

My goal is location independent income. Anything $150k (after any taxes I'm eligible for) will be enough to live as a bachelor even in say Manhattan. Of course more is better, but I just want enough to be able to pick up and move at will to any city I want. Rent a pad near the nightlife and slay the local poon. As for the end, I'd like to base myself out of Lower Manhattan and live as a bachelor

You will get there faster by selling your own product line and controlling the sales process.

Interesting.

Any idea how many clients he has?

Employees?

70k per month gross or profit?

No clue, but it seems he has a pretty good sales funnel. 70k would be gross (I think his expenses are pretty low) but that probably has shot up since I talked to him. He has employees from 3rd world countries doing a lot of the work. Not sure how many.

I think he pulls most of his clients from one forum. Grant it, the forum has over a million eyes a month.

That is why I always say to create a product line with high priced items or services. Get them in with a lower priced product and upsell the hell out of them.

When you do that, you don't need as many people to really make serious cash.

Hell, adding a recurring service would be great. SEO will normally need additional work to keep rankings so this guy sells monthly fees for continual service after he gets them ranked.

I do something similar. I don't work in dollars, but I expect by the end of the year to have about 20-30 clients, which might make $35000 profit (per month.) (That's according to a currency calculator, so might be a bit off.)

Maybe, that might be a bit of a stretch, but SEO marketing isn't the only thing I've got going. I also don't really want to take on that many clients if I can help it, it's a pain in the arse at times.

I wouldn't consider that IM in the sense that most people mean. i.e. affiliate marketing and blog running.

(At this point, I'm not going any further due to personal/financial info etc.)

Of course, having clients isn't necessarily location independent, and that is a world away from Internet marketing in the traditional sense. Even if you want to go down that route, you are still better served by branching out into different stuff. Even if you outsource, dealing with clients means less potential leverage. There are only so many clients you can see, thus you're still limited by time.

The problem with running blogs for money is that there are guys who automate the whole process, automate the SEO and can set up a profitable blog witihn an hour. If you're aiming for the traditional route of writing your own content, you're already miles behind by the time you've written your first post. Again, it comes down to being able to leverage your product and service decoupled from the time you spend. That is why it isn't the greatest return on investment.

How insightful. Why don't you tell us more?

Thanks for the help guys!

I will pm you for more info.

This is very interesting stuff. I know many things are bought and sold online. There must be alot of marketing type stuff involved. Maybe "internet marketing" is literally being created as we speak? Who knows what the "internet" world will be like in 10 or 20 years. It seems like the wild, wild, west to me. There is money to be made but it can be hard to figure out exactly how?? I'm sure at least a few guys have figured it out, I'll keep doing my research and educating myself.

In time he will.

Getting started with affliate marketing/ adsense is a good way to learn the basics imo.

Once you have a small income set up from that you can reinvest into other ventures.

I agree with product creation being the best way to make money. Product Creation + list building in my opinion is a goldmine especially in the IM niche.

Speaking of which, do you have any suggestions for great sales copywriters for something around 50 bucks a copy? Got a WSO ready for sale but I'm waiting on my friend to write a sales copy and he's without computer access.

Best way to make e-money is through ecommerce, then wholesaling and finally distribution. More long term though.

What sort of thing are you looking for as far as copy goes? Maybe I can help.

RE: International Playboy essentials
Interesting discussion here about IM and the whole 4HWK. I'll write more on that later with my own experience.

Tkid, even if you were able to find someone to write a copy for 50 bucks, I would strongly suggest that you keep the 50 bucks and invest it in a couple of good copy writting books so that YOU can learn copy writting, which is one of the most vital skills when it comes to selling, be it online or offline.

Here's one fast and easy suggestion: The Ultimate Sales Letter, by Dan Kennedy.
Hynotic Writing by Joe Vitale.

Get those for less than 50 bucks, lock yourself in your room for 48 hours and devour them. Then you will be able to not only understand the process but also mechanism of how good copy is done. That is if you're serious about learning a vital skill in the IM world.

Hey VP, I bought Hynoptic Writing based on your suggestion and have been reading it. That taught me the importance of copywriting and I have been practicing by writing content for other people. However at this moment I feel I could hire someone who would do a better job.

In the long term I want to become an excellent copywriter but short term I want to release this product ASAP and get some cash flow from that for further biz ventures.

I'll also check out the Ultimate Sales Letter..

Sounds good Tkid, but anyone accepting 50$ for a job to write copy, I would stay clear of them. You want someone talented to write you copy that actually sells? then be ready to spend a lot more than 50 bucks...LOL

TKid, listen to VP. It would be a waste of $50.

Here is what I would do if you want to hire someone to write copy. Try writing it yourself. This is a skill you should learn anyway and you shouldn't be putting this off simply because you want to make money right now. That isn't a good enough reason and that type of mentality will set you back since it will never be a good time.

You know your product better. Work on your sales page. Once you get the offer points, bullet points, testimonials... nailed, then look for someone that can rewrite your copy to add some flair. It will be a lot cheaper to have it rewritten then paying a copywriter to start from scratch.

I thought there was a couple of copy guys on this forum.

Thanks for the advice WWT and VP. I've written a copy and I'll work on it to make it better. Then I'll hire someone to rewrite it for cheap.

Good luck Tkid. The most important thing is nailing down the offer. I am not that great of a copy writing but can make a lot of sales just because I make a brilliant offer.

My partner just got internet access. He's a brilliant copywriter and just told me mine was garbage and that he will take care of it.

I'll keep reading and practicing. I want to get good at copywriting over the next few months.

Edit T-Kid wrote that.

Freedom, Check.
Money, check, check.
Languages... check.

I have most of these things. I think I qualify for international playboy. But, I lack something.

I lack a sense of purpose in the world.

Men need a sense of purpose something that we are very passionate about.

All I need is a day job that keeps me motivated and that really captures who I am... a purpose that keeps me going. Like teaching kids English or loving a job or raising a kid or starting an amazing business.

Men need a challenge and a mountain to climb. When we have this, the pussy just lines up.

Sorry to rain down on the parade. This my main goal for being in this forum... to find out what my international purpose is. I am looking for advice.

I have an oceanside farm in the jungle in central America. I am developing it slowly over time. But, it isn't enough. I like the blond blue-eyed women of Northern Europe like, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Ukraine. I need to somehow incorporate them in my path.

1. Money
2. Game
3. Health
4. Fashion
5. Languages
6. Knowledge
7. Self-defense skills
8. Muscles
9. Dance skills
10. Sex skills
11. Multiple Passports
12. Music skills
13. Drawing/Painting skills
14. Any additional skills that are not listed here

You left out the most important element: Freedom.

I talk about this on the blog a lot. Location independence is a must. You can not be an International Playboy if you're making your money as an Accountant or a Lawyer or a Doctor or some shit. Unless you're very lucky (like HH), you're going to need to pursue an unconventional way of making money.

Internet Marketing/SEO, starting an internet based retail business and successful property or stockmarket/commodities/Forex investing in that order are the "easiest" ways so to speak. I pursue the former because you don't need much in the way of start-up capital to do it.

Also, while being a James Bond/G Manifesto type International Playboy is obviously the final goal, guys like Roosh and Naughty Nomad are still International Playboys. As are MiXX, Deb Auchery and many many other guys on the forum. And some of those guys make A LOT less then what'd you think (Roosh included).
