How to iron a shirt without an iron
All you need is a spray bottle filled with water. I travel with this one that I bought in Target for a couple bucks:

Put the wrinkled shirt on and spray the wrinkles. Then use your hand to "iron" the shirt, simply brushing it flat against your body. That's it!

If you keep the shirt on, it will dry quickly because of your body heat. Sometimes if I'm in a rush, I'll spray iron my shirt, walk out the door, and be dry and wrinkle free in time for my grand club entrance. Of course it doesn't give it the crispy feeling from an iron, but it kills all obvious wrinkles. I haven't ironed a shirt with heat in a long long time.

I also use this method when I buy a new shirt and want to get rid of the new shirt creases in the front.

I have to admit that I don't know how to iron. I might never learn if this works...

Another tip is to throw a wrinkled shirt into the dryer with a wet wash cloth. Take the shirt out while the dryer is still running. This too will remove wrinkles without the hassle of ironing.

Another thing you can do is turn on the shower with hot water, hang the shirt on the shower rod, and let it run for 15 minutes. I've used this method to get wrinkles out in a pinch.

Solid tip. I was big on the dryer trick when I lived in a house. I will try the spray trick tonight. I try not dry pants in slack in the dryer as it makes them shrink, this trick works for pants if you take it out a quarter to half dry in the dryer. Slap the pants in the air in a wave motion like how you do when your spreding a large bed sheet. The motion and slapping force will get any large creases out, the heavier the pants the better it works.

Driers work, but most apartments in Europe don't have them.

This can work.

However if your bathroom is like this, it can be hard to get enough steam going.

RE: How to iron a shirt without an iron
This sounds like a solid tip however, I am a Brit and I am used to ironing my clothes. Sometimes when I have something on my mind, I'll just throw some music on and start ironing my shyt to clear my mind.

I have dealt with several Toronto lizards who do not iron. In fact, my former starter had never ironed before (a la Houston) and I had to actually do it for her after I finished lacing her.

It's funny, we all have an (probably inaccurate) idea of what people look and sound like on this board. This is what I think Moma sounds like, except he says "liz-ard" periodically. Please tell me it's true.

Special treat. Moma interviewing that delusional cow Naomi Wolf, which Roosh clowned-on a while back. Try not to flip your lid (especially if you go and read the abhorrent, supplicating comments under the video).

Re: OP

I'm an ironing guy myself (even with starch sometimes), but since that requires a board and time, I often don't get around to it. I know some guys who swear by those clothes-steamer machines. They're not as good as ironing, but they're probably a good middle ground between actual ironing and hanging your shirt in the bathroom or spritzing it with water.

The upright works amazing. I've used one.

The handhelds travel well and still do a decent job, I'm told.

RE: How to iron a shirt without an iron
A true playa has his bitches iron his shirts.

I'm not a playa so I travel with one of these:

http://www.luggagepoint.com/samsonite-tr...nt-steamer

It's light, small, cheap, and dual voltage. Been using them since 08, and they will steam out the heaviest of wrinkles. Only fill it half way, or it will spit to much water.

I tend to overpack my bags and need something that can handle the excessive wrinkles from stuffing too many clothes in one suit bag.

My M.O. when landing in a new city is to immediatly find a cleaners and get my clothes sorted out. I like to use the hand steamer to supplement, like using it on blazers between wears.

Besides, in this day and age you'll be hard pressed to find a woman who won't double crease your shirts.

The steaming Bathroom really works! I use a lot when I am in a hurry and without the steamed machine above. (For example, as I travel.)

I can vouch for the upright as well.

I work in a tuxedo rental and tailoring shop. Couple of years ago our boiler that feeds the steam presses died, on a Tuesday when we had 1,500 tuxes to assemble by Thursday morning! No worries, bust out the uprights (I think we had them on hand for drapes) and go to town.

This is all you need fellas. A staple in Parlay's closet.
I do have a full size ironing board and iron every morning though. This is just for emergencies.

I am a fan of the spray bottle and dryer technique myself, but damn those Ali G videos had me laughing hard! I've never seen them before, thanks. And for the record Naomi Wolf's legs look like tree trunks.

Used this today on a new shirt didn't have time to iron. Worked like a champ. Also -- baking soda has changed my life.
