the thing I didn't like was the sticky humidity. I ended sweating day and night. Otherwise I liked it, even tough I was unable to go to Huacachina.

Turistas sweat a lot there for some reason, though the climate is not very hot at all, even in summer.

I can attest to significant flakiness in Lima in 2016 and early 2017. I didn't know it was better before.

RE: Lima, Peru Datasheet
This was my second time in Lima and I found it to be getting closer to the South American average now (which isn't something I like).

It is still a beautiful city - maybe even better than a few years ago but in terms of girls things have gone downhill.

- I have seen guys try to pick up girls right next to me during the day, something I rarely see in the US

- these pickups were in Spanish and very fast and abrupt it seemed

- girls seem to be 'on the run' in the city constantly with arms crossed on the chest, headphones and a super fast pace - seemingly to counter pickups

- coffee shops, malls, parks seemed deserted by the other sex

- I surprisingly found one bar that had some approachable girls in Miraflores on Friday/ Saturday

- Girls seem much better looking than I remember, last time I was here and said to myself there is nobody to talk to, since everyone is ugly, this time I saw big numbers of 8/9 in my book

- there are many more tourists in town but Spanish is still absolutely required

- online game is useless - I set up 20 dates, 19 flaked even with confirmation and/or video chat the day before

- the attitude of girls I talked to has change rapidly and is more aggressive - no psycho, emasculating game as in the US, but much more distant

- call me crazy but to me it felt more like going out in FSU here with the many 'Teflon dates', not South American at all, girls are approachable to an extent but nobody ever flirts anymore

- I tried nightgame during my last visit and found it a complete #fail so besides the odd bar I did not go out at all, maybe I missed out on something

I thought the girls are much more pretty than last time but attitudes and my ability to actually talk to girls have decreased a lot. IMHO don't go to Peru because of the girls, it's as hard as Mexico. It is also pretty expensive but it's also a really beautiful spot on earth.

RE: Lima, Peru Datasheet
I recently spent 3 weeks in Lima and Cusco. I'm not sure what all the talk about difficulty is here. I banged 4 different girls in my first week alone. All Tinder. Pipelined briefly before flying down there. I'm 30's white, good looking, average height. I experienced relatively little flakiness.

Logistics: AirBnB Miraflores and Barranco, 50-80/night for apt with doorman. Uber is fantastic. Ahauasca and Cala are good night spots. Larcomar mall has english speakers. Jockey plaza is a huge mall and you need spanish over there.

My thoughts: Easy to line up 6's from Tinder. Not very rewarding. Great country, cheap as hell, food is fantastic. Plenty to see and do besides game. I still keep in touch with a couple of the girls that were higher status that I didn't bang. Peru is like any other country, the quality will require putting in the work, there are no shortcuts. Spanish would be extremely beneficial. I had to pass up countless leads because of language barriers and I wasted a lot of time filtering out the english speakers.

The women are nothing special in Lima, but better then US of course. Women in Cusco are ugly. The upper class ones are usually more white, can be very attractive and are much more difficult to game. These girls really have no reason to date foreigners unless they actively want to get OUT of Peru. The good thing about these girls though is they will set you up with there friends who you will not find online.

Overall a worthwhile trip. I had more fun touristing then "gaming", but if you want to make a run at easy latinas, it's there for the taking. Now I'm back in the US and its a disaster.

I can see that with the 6's. Glad it worked for you!

I was focusing on 7++ and didn't get far. That was clearly a bit too ambitious.

Airbnb. Negotatiate for 40% of the advertised prices, and you can get 30 % off at the end.

50-80 $ per night most travellers would consider quite pricey. Is that even true for a week or two?

You can easily get a one-bedroom apartment around 35 USD in better parts of Barranco in a luxurious building if you stay more than a week. They normally advertise for $55-65 USD or so. It might depend on the season though but I would normally not expect to pay more than $50 even in the highest season. Most hosts accept my offer or a bit higher as I write them that I contact a few hosts and will accept the lowest offer I receive.

I saw a few studios in Barranco, which are cheaper but never stayed in one. They had good reviews though.

The good apartments have security/reception desk but I have never faced a problem when bringing guests.

Miraflores is a bit more expensive but I like to stay in Barranco after experiencing both.

Cuidate!

Furnished apartment prices decreased a lot in 2018, roughly 10% + higher availability.

Some updates:
-Cala is closed until new year
-LimaBar is the new "club" in Miraflores, and a good option if you are looking for 7+
-Dali / Mute are alternatives. I would go there only with reservation and buying a bottle. A Million USD entree fee, or writing a stupid promoter guy on FB to put you on the list. long waiting time for lists. They protect their girls pretty fine ^^
-Uber + UberEats is strongly recommended
-Guys who complain about flakes didn't offer to send an Uber

I agree with you concerning Uber, many girls complained how unsafe Lima got, so it's better to say that you send her with an Uber home.

RE: Lima, Peru Datasheet
Never scored in Lima itself, but touring around Huaraz my mates and I bagged some cuties from Lima in a club.

Funnily enough I didn't know a word in Spanish then so just motioned them over to the dance floor and started making out.
Girls were seriously DTF. Didn't want to take them to our shitty hostel with 8 beds in a room so had to walk around from hotel to hotel for 2 hours until we found a per-hour one that would let us rent a room for the night.

Good times. Promised to come visit the girls in Lima but never saw them again.

RE: Lima, Peru Datasheet
Long time reader, first time poster.

Forum won't let me create threads yet, so I'll just post my mini-report here.
Just spent a month in Peru, mostly in Lima.

Focused mostly on touristing and learning Spanish, so most of my action came from Tinder.

Logistics: get an apartment in Miraflores, $40-$50/night gets you a decent one on Airbnb. You will want to set up dates in Miraflores because it's safe, there's lots to do, and girls love it. Even if you want to go out in the more artsy/hipster Barranco, it's a 10-15 min cab ride away.

Nightlife:
- The only decent venue on Calle de las Pizzas in my opinion is Son de Cuba. Great music, not a lot of backpackers, good layout, frequented by locals.
- Sargento Pimienta on Tuesday nights plays salsa (sometimes live bands), and there are a lot of foxy chicas wanting to dance, but you better know some decent salsa Smile I only went there once and didn't have much luck, but I can see the potential.
- La Cachina has a western-like vibe and plays mostly gringo music, so seems like it could be frequented by girls who are interested gringos.
- Lima bar is a more high-end venue located in the Larcomar mall. Was super crowded on a Friday night and the music was too loud to hold a conversation. There's a rear patio though, where there's always a few groups of girls enjoying a cigarette, much easier to approach than inside. Overall, the place is better for groups.

Online game: if you have half-decent photos, you'll get a lot of matches on Tinder. However, most of these girls are just collecting matches or want you to follow them on IG or who the fuck knows what they're doing. In my experience, only 20-30% responded to messages, some went silent when they realized that I wasn't living in Peru permanently, and only 6 ultimately resulted in dates. One wasn't too interested, one wasn't as good looking as in the pics, the other 4 I closed (2 Peruvian and 2 Venezuelan). 3 were in the 6-7 range, the other venezolana was a solid 8 in my book. In addition, she turned out to be a sex freak, let me fuck her every which way including anal, and even sent me to the store for more condoms in the morning because she wanted more sex. Good thing I was leaving Lima the next day because she had sucked me dry lol. I think she also gave me the clap, but I ain't complaining Smile

Language: I don't know what I would do in Peru without Spanish. Not speaking the language deprives you of like 80% of the opportunities in the dating game. Very few chicks speak decent English. It is worse with Venezuelan chicas. I'm at like B2 level, and even so I sometimes didn't understand half of what my venezolanas were saying. Not that it mattered much though Smile

Closing the deal: honestly, there wasn't much trickery involved. Be a nice guy, show them a good time, tell a good story, and don't be afraid to escalate. Most Latinas normally don't drink much, but they can be just as crazy sober. 3 out of 4 of my bangs I closed on the first date.

You can read up on the touristy stuff in other places, there's too much to see in Peru for one trip, I'll definitely come back here.

Anyone figure out a way to get around the ATM bullshit? It's all high fees and low limits. Very annoying.

The multi red ATMs don't charge a fee, but they have a 400 sole limit each withdrawal unfortunately. Still, you can pull out two times from one in a day normally no problems.
