Question Where are girls getting all their "game"?
Last night I tweeted this:

It got me thinking. How much does the media have in influencing how these girls interact with us? The short clipping above does eerily ring familiar in my many interactions I've had with American girls.

Feminism has done such a great job out of robbing a girl's femininity that she is now an empty vessel for publications like Cosmo to fill her with garbage that decreases our experience with them. It's like a 1-2 punch in the destruction of these women.

Do american women still read Cosmo? I thought the skinny models on the cover where a bad role model that set unrealistic expectations and made 'real' women feel inadequate

"Shitty advice for a shitty life!"

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
This is the "free market," where profit margins matter more than the well-being of the people. Girls read "The Rules" and all that chick game stuff. This is the girl version of flipping the script. Of course, feminine women don't realize that the more power they have in their relations with men, the less attractive the men become.

So, maybe we need to flip the script even more by increasing our efforts. Like- for as many approaches that a girl gets in a day, the guy who is persuing her should make that same number of approaches, or get that same amount of phone numbers in a day.. something like that.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
I posted a thread like this about online girls. They're learning the shit from somewhere. Calling me on all these crazy google voice numbers even the girls out of the country are calling on my local area code.

There's more. They neg my profile but you can tell they have interest. Shit like that that is too common tells me they have a guide like this someplace.

It's despicable really, and it's not like it's something new too, it's been going on for years (not just in cosmopolitan). It amazes me that a lot of girls think that we won't pursue other girls on the side when they give us shit like this, though.

It's behaviour like this that has made men start to learn game. If being nice meant you get chicks, there would be no need for it. As others have pointed out, women invented game, not men.

The solution is to just keep on doing what a lot of people here are doing, treat those women like shit while continuing to look overseas for quality girls.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
I wrote this about a year ago:

Quote:Sometimes the girl is not using the neg as an opener, but as a failed attempt at teasing early in the interaction. They make fun of my hairy arms or my retro flower shirt or whatever else I’m wearing without using a scrap of charm or humor. We’re talking straight-up insults.

When this happens, I look at the girl and say, “Does that pick-up line usually work? Because it sucks.”

“Uh, uh, it’s not a pick up line! You wish it was!”

Reverse the genders. That little dialogue sounds familiar, doesn’t it? We’ve come full circle my friends.

The irony behind "Girl-Game" is that it makes the girl more likely to be single.

She'll end up screening out good alpha males who weren't interested in playing games with her, so she'll just be stuck with betas following her flaky ass around.

Women are becoming a product of their environment. They are trying to mimic what men are using now to get laid. It's instinctive to use what is being used against you. Goes all the way back to elementary school.

me: You're stupid.
her: No, you're stupid.
me: You're stupider.
her: You're stupider x1
me: You're stupider x1 + infinity.
her: Can I have some of your jello?
me: Sure.

The male/female dynamic is still the same.

Female projection.

This type of behavior is appealing to them when they see it in a man. Thus, they assume subconsciously that men will also prefe to see it in the women they pursue.

They cannot understand that the sexes are different. Men (particularly those with options) do not want to become intimate with that which is closer to themselves. Acting more like a man (trying to be "one of the dudes", or copying male mating strategies) is not going to appeal to the type of men these women want. As Samseau said, they'll end up with sad-sack betas who lack the confidence, backbone or skill to do any better.

You lose money chasing women, but you never lose women chasing money.

That's what I said copycat. But my response included dialogue, which made it cooler.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
There's no doubt that there's an echo chamber between fat girls, lesbians, aging bitches, and the exploitative media (blogs, media, advertising). They're all pushing the genders-should-be-exactly-the-same ethos because it appeals (on some level) to 90 percent of chicks and preys on their over-simplified worldview.

I'm banging a girl who does this to me constantly. You can tell she wants to be nice, but then puts on this transparent I-don't-give-a-fuck act that's so fucking annoying. She was about to get kicked to curb when she spontaneously brought a whole meal to the house, took a good dicking, and left me to work on some projects I was chipping away at.

It's a constant battle. Rough sex seems to cure some of these symptoms, but not all, and you have to get to that stage just to administer the medicine.

There was a Reddit thread on this Cosmo piece, and I said the two things above - the only men, if any, she will get through such disrespectful tactics are low value men, who bend easily to her will. As they submit to her whims, she grows contemptuous of them.

As for the 'girl-game' negs, yeah, they're terrible. There's no charm, wit or subtlety about it, and it's usually something grossly disrespectful- like insinuating he is a homosexual. That's like rolling up to a girl and saying, "haha, you have a big ugly nose!"

Feminism has an interesting role here. It's not the doctrinaire feminists, the Andrea Dworkins, who promote this shit. It's what happens when you feed pop feminism to your average woman, who already has a penchant for manipulation extending back millenia. You tell her that men want the same things from a mate that she does, that men want a woman who seems powerful and in demand, and Gurl Power! And all that gets turned into this toxic girl game.

Like someone else said, this sort of 'advice' is not new. It seems like with people spending more time out of relationships nowadays and having less defined social circles, girls are getting hit on more by guys. So they resort to 'tactics' to manage things.

I've been wanting to write a thread for a little while about the necessity of just unplugging from all this bullshit. Basically starve the beast by pirating mainstream, misandric media or better not consuming it at all, and refraining from name brand products dependent on advertising - you can usually find a better substitute from a smaller company that cares more about its customers, if you do a little research.

I totally agree. It seems like the uglier/fatter/more feminist chicks who can't get a man any other way resort to tactics like this. They start acting like the few bangs they've had and its really off putting. Girls need to realize that all they need to do is look nice and act like herself (provided shes an interesting person) to get a man.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
Game for men = Teaching us how to be more appealing to women.
Game for women = Pushing the typical equalist agenda and saying that if women want to be appealing to men, they should do what men who appeal to them do.

This has been touched on many a time by the wise men here; men value obvious things like looks and youth, women value more nebulous things like confidence and status. This is why game for us is (mostly) about improving your mindset, your station in life and your social skills; because it's what the women like, while game for women is making themselves as physically attractive as possible; it's what the men like. Sure, betas and guys who don't have a rich and well-developed prospect pipeline will eat this kind of shit, but the alphas, the men she actually wants to date? They'll shoot her a disarming look of disdain, fuck her for a few weeks and then drop off the face of the Earth.

I've had girls be intentionally evasive on plans, I usually straight up tell them to stop dicking me around, and if she doesn't I tell her I'll call her later, and then I don't because I promptly try to make other plans (or maybe I just stay in and read or watch a movie? She doesn't know that).

I actually have a Cosmo opener; if I see a girl reading it, I ask her if I can read it, the first thing I do is ask them what they think of the cover model...the cover model is usually an already attractive woman, wearing a nice dress and airbrushed to the moon, so she'll say 'She's beautiful!', and I'll say 'Yeah, I guess...', and then I'll read out the articles and point out how stupid (or on extremely rare occasions, how astute) they are and clown on her a bit.

Haha.

Girl game is so weak it is pathetic. Cosmo style 'game' is just more female projection, 'act coy, be mysterious, do the leading.' Basically what a man to do. The opposite of what girls should be doing.

If they didn't have their looks and innate femininity, they'd be nowhere. Or, as is the case now, writing articles about 'where the good men have gone, and why men need to man up!'

If females had game forums, most of the topics would be 'Why is he intimidated by my strong game?'

If a girl does obnoxious things, and is unpleasant to be around, self-respecting guys will relegate her to the hump and dump pile. The guys that stick around she either won't be attracted to or it will be a sado-masochistic relationship. These are not things the create long term happiness and well being.

If a girl wants to achieve this type of lifestyle, then yes, she should use "game."

They get their game advice from the same places we do. Internet, tv, pop culture, books, etc.

Female game has been around longer then male game right? Before Ross Jeffries, Mystery, Neil Strauss, Roissy and Roosh - There was "Cosmo", "Ladies Home Journal", "Harpers", etc.

Female dating experts are seeking an audience the same way male dating authors are seeking an audience.

Most of the advice they get is questionable. Most of the advice we get is also questionable.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
Women's game is mostly centered in relationships aka how to hook him how to make him marry me etc. They do not have a game based on pick up approach, escalation all these are considered to be things a man should care for.The same way most men ar enot interested in relationship advice or how to hook up a woman to marry the same most women are not interested in picking up cold approach, negging etc.

As for dating etc women usually try to do everything difficult. That is what Cosmopolitan advises in this article.Do everything difficult for him.
For example a man wants to arrange a certain accurately defined dating time so he can put his schedule in order. The woman does not want to leave him this convenience. She wants to have it uncertained till last minute so to kee him embarrased and interested. She also wants to keep an escape route.
This can take a dramatic route when arranging place for date.A man will naturally choose a restricted and well defined place to meet(for example in front of a small shop) a woman will choose a vague and huge place to meet with no defined boundaries(typical a mall or a metro station the biggest one).
This comes from the mens desire to have everything under control(not to be lost) and the woman's desire to keep face(noone will spot her in such a massive hall waiting) and have an escape route(in case sth goes wrong and she wants to leave).
So the whole trick is either to define the place or the time but never leave both of them to the woman as the old PUAs suggested.(women do the same if you tell the place they automatically set the time and accept no objections).

I love that video.

Fey - Insufferable leftist with her head up her ass, who thinks she's smarter than someone who was once a vice-presedential candidate (not saying Palin is some paragon of intelligence, but I don't see Tina Fey running a state) and can't write herself as anything but a quirky victim of male oppression or unlucky in love because the hot young wimminz are taking all the good men (in case you can't tell, I can't stand Tina Fey).

Silverman - I might as well listen to a male comic, instead.

Poehler - Only as funny as her writers allow her to be (and I have wanted Ron Swanson to punch her in the face more than a handful of times this year on Parks).

And excellent point, Kamaki; women don't have early game because they don't really need it; most of them, save for the absolute dregs of their kind, know that they can get sex whenever they want, but sex and commitment are two things that you get in different ways. It doesn't matter how good the sex is, most men, even lesser betas, will eventually get tired of you and fail to put a ring on it if it's all you can offer.

RE: Where are girls getting all their "game"?
Well, there used to be a good relationship advice in women's magazine. Read the article below and compare to Cosmo. We came a long way, I'm just not sure the direction was quite right...

Quote:The Good Wife's Guide

Housekeeping Monthly - May 13, 1955

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favourite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.

Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

Be happy to see him.

Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his very real need to be at home and relax.

Your goal: To try and make sure your home is a place of peace, order, and tranquillity where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit.

Don't greet him with complaints and problems.

Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

A good wife always knows her place.
