That means you're claiming you banged a different girl every two days. I'm going to go ahead and call you out on that because that's nigh on impossible to do unless you are paying for it.

I understand your skepticism, Vorkuta, but I never exaggerate or lie on my posts. But I will lay it out for you so you can understand. My strategy involved several things:
1. Got a swanky pad in the best part of the city (set me back 1100 dollars a month), which is in District 1 next to Vincom Center Mall.
2. Pipelined the internet and paid for a membership in vietnam cupid.
3. Wrote on my profile that i was contracted by Citibank to work 6 months, as a consultant. Also that I had dual nationalities: American and Brazilian (people everywhere tend to like Brazilians, especially in soccer mad countries like Vietnam) and speak several languages (which i actually do).
4. Set up 2 or 3 dates per day. Most girls had no problem, going to meet me at Vincom Mall with their motorbikes even if they lived far away (the majority use them all the time). Usually each date lasted an hour to an hour and a half and I used them to scope out the girls' attitude, looks, english ability, kino acceptance, etc. I just had to walk 2 blocks to the mall so it didn't involve much effort on my part.
5. Since i knew Vietnamese girls are more conservative, I almost never attempted first date bangs (though i did get 2). The key was picking the right ones based on the criteria I mentioned above and not bothering with the ones who were too conservative, for example. So with the ones, I deemed, had the right characteristics, I set up 2nd dates at night. The days and evenings were always used to scout new young talent( All my dates were 18 to 24) Vietnamese girls are not drinkers so it was usually a dinner date at a nice place.
6. The girls love dinner dates there and when I attempted a cheap coffee 2nd date, I couldnt pull the girl when she went back to my place. The dinner dates at a nice place, I think, showed them that you wanted something serious with them. So most had no problem going back to my swanky pad, which was always nearby.
7. Most put up token resistance in my pad, but 80 percent put out in the end. The other 20 percent I banged on the 3rd date, which usually just involved watching a movie at my place.

Now do the math vorkuta and you can see the 20 to 25 is possible.
I'm in Manila right now, and if one set up things right over here, one could average a bang a day. Obviously some days you wouldn't bang, but on weekends 2 different bangs a day is entirely possible. My brother who was in Bangkok, while I was in Saigon, had around 30 different girls in 7 weeks. So, Im sure many SE Asia experts in the forum can back me up on how you can rack up big numbers, with young women, over there.
Vietnam, with its more conservative women and lower percentage of english speakers, presents more of a challenge than the Philippines and Thailand. But with the right strategy and some work, one can still do well over there.

P.S. Never have paid for a woman or prostitute in my life or even shored.

I just wanted to say chochemonger's intel was very legit. I leveraged his steps to get 5 bangs in 8 days in Saigon, 3 of them single day/night lays. All girls were very cute to smoking, and I set the bar pretty high for Asian girls because that's the demographic I attain with greatest ease.

I liked the Vietnamese girls a lot--they are, in my experience, the best-looking in Southeast Asia, and perhaps all of the greater East/Southeast Asia region. However, I would recommend Thailand and the Philippines for easier attainability for girls. Vietnamese girls are pretty conservative and don't speak much English--even the ones that are putatively studying English in college/university.

I had some initial conditions that were favorable for me. I am ambiguously Asian-looking (so Vietnamese girls, being the conservative girls they are, didn't feel self-conscious being out with me), I am fairly good-looking and muscular (this helped to the degree that I am contemplating packing on a few more pounds of muscle for the U.S.), I work in Finance, and I speak three languages (which most of them were enthralled by, especially the Mandarin Chinese).

I liked the Vietnamese girls a lot--they are, in my experience, the best-looking in Southeast Asia, and perhaps all of the greater East/Southeast Asia region. Yes, my younger brother, who looks a bit Asian and is 6ft tall, did very well all over SE Asia.

Though, you will get a lot of stares and attention as a white guy; sometimes it is a bit counterproductive when it comes to closing, especially in a more conservative country like Vietnam.
As a Latin guy or half Asian dude in Vietnam, you can take girls out at night, without the nasty stares from local dudes that often make the local girls self conscious or inhibited.

Yeah, it was.

At club venues, when I went to them, I was already with girls. I did do a few token approaches when (I think) the girls weren't looking, but the approaches weren't particularly effectual.

Clubs I saw were Sin Lounge, Lush, and Apocalypse Now. Lots of hookers at Apocalypse Now, but seemed fun and shorable (although that's not my thing, they looked tempting).

RE: The lowdown on Ho Chi Minh/Vietnam - datasheet
Thought I would tag on my own data sheet here given nash23's original is a couple of years old now. This is my take on the 5 days I spent in saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. However there are guys on here who have been living there for a while who will have more knowledge & experience in the scene, so would be good to get their feedback on the below

Ho Chi Minh datasheet

i had previously been in Vietnam 4 years ago when I still lived in the UK (which started my love affair with Asia) and this was the first time I returned since for a long weekend there with a friend (non-game).

The city has changed a lot where there are now a lot more cars on the road and high fashion shopping malls have gone up, you can see money has come into the city and as a result the designer labelled and upscale bars have followed. District 1 is a lot different to 4 year ago but stepping outside that area and much of the city remains the same. A rather adorable chaos as everyone flying about on their scooters going about their business (while usually transporting way too many people or goods for too wheels)

Big shout out to Elim who, although being temporarily out of town PM'd me a load of invaluable information and also connected me to Papa Rico who I met for a big night out and then coffee later on in the trip. Super chill guy who has proper solid game and has been unsurprisingly tearing it up in HCMC since he has been there.

Stayed in Lancaster Serviced apartments in D1, highly recommended. Everything in D1 is walkable and unlike in Singapore it is not so hot and humid that you are sweating like a rapist after walking one block. I always go with serviced apartment rather than a hotel when traveling with mates as it gives you more options: Can cook if you wish, you got a proper living room space to hang and predrink but most importantly you can have girls back for an afterparty but still have separate private bedrooms to take your girl (or girls) back to without having to interrupt the rest of the party (ie hotel room you would have to boot everyone else out). Apartments were quiet, friendly staff and good location with a cracking little sidestreet of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. We normally kicked off our evening in a more traditional style bar called 5ku station just a block away where they serve cheap beer, and good food which you cook yourself on your own mini bbq/grill pot.

Generally everyone is super friendly, but I suspect being a white foreigner a lot of it is down to you having a lot of disposable cash to spend on random tat. But still it never really came across that way if that was the intention, I never got any real 'hard sell' nor the impression that I was getting blatantly ripped off like some experiences I had in Bangkok and Phuket.

Touristy stuff:
Of what we got to see in our brief trip, the Vietnam war remnants museum was my favourite and just 1USD to enter, highly recommended and a must see if you have any interest in the Vietnam War. The palace tour not quite as good but still worth a quick look around. There was another museum we stumbled into, the Gia Long Palace or Ho Chi Minh City Museum but it sucked compared to the War museum, so dont bother. We did the Chu Chi Tunnels also good, an 90 minute drive there so bit of a hike but worth it, the highlight being getting the opportunity to fire AK47 and M16s at a shooting range Banana Climbing through the tunnels was pretty cool also. I recommend paying a bit extra to get a personal/private tour as takes away a lot of hassle, journey time and waiting around while you're there.

girls

Note: Getting the excuses out early, but my game was badly hampered due to a bad viral infection in my eye that had me almost canceling my trip. I still made it but the eye looked bad the first few nights which had folk looking at me funny. In addition the medication I was on (albeit mixed with alcohol) had me ending up very drowsy & pissed. On top of that my phone was also playing up severely which would prove to be quite a cockblock. But despite all this took 3 chicks home the first 3 nights (well the first ended up turning out to be a freelancer so doesn't count) and if it wasnt for sheer fatigue from the meds and charging a little too hard the first few nights couldve been 5 in 5. Saigon really is a turkey shoot for picking up the girls, tho they can be a little conservative/resistant once you get them back to your bed. Tho they do absolutely fall in love with you...to stalker-esq proportions. You pretty much barely need any game here to do well (other than maybe closing).

I had forgotten how curvy the Vietnamese chicks can be since I was here 4 years ago. The skin is quite pale and they have quite an oriental look. However their bodies have a bit more tit & ass going on as compared to the likes of the chinese/korean chicks I have come across (heh) which elevates them in my book. As a white guy/ex pat here you will get A LOT of attention, even by SE Asian standards. The chicks literally just stare at you. However they are extremely shy and get embarrassed easily, shying away and giggling when you smile at them in the street. Also their english tends to be pretty bad so communication is a pain, especially if you have a strong accent like I do. However, as badly they speak and understand english they can write it so much better so can you can communicate better through typing what you are saying on your phone and she reciprocates (when your phone isnt running out of fucking battery like mine that is).

Although some may find the shyness endearing for me I kinda prefer girls who are more outgoing, flirtatious and less conservative. But I know other guys tastes will differ. I found getting girls to come home with you was easy enough but they are a bit frigid and inexperienced in the bedroom, which was a little frustrating. But again very sweet where one chick why trying to take me to hospital cos of my eye condition and calling me up afterwards to see how i was. Although the keeness could be a little full-on, some would relentlessly phone me over and over and would want to come to meet me alone even though I was telling her I am out with my friends. You could tell they would make good girlfriend/wife material, if thats what you are looking for. Then again perhaps if I spent longer living there it may be a bit of an act I would start to see through. I'm sure depending on your venue of choice you will likely find more confident/slutty girls in certain bars/clubs

Anyway, was frustrating as given my condition I was operating way below capacity. So planning a repeat trip back when I'm firing on all cylinders and will report back how I get on

Nightlife

Changed a lot since 4 years ago, with a few more high end places springing up. Although generally cheap some of the high end places can still be pricey. Somehow I managed to spend a shitload of cash without really know how I did it.

Xu Bar - Came on a few recommendations and didnt disappoint. Busy high end bar which appears to be both the venue for high end white ex pats, and for local chicks looking for high end (ie non back packer) ex pats. Was surprising the number of white girls and guys in there actually, but was a friendly atmosphere where due to the layout was easy to get chatting to folk. Definitely plenty to aim at in there

Blanchys - Next door to Xu Bar and appears to be a smaller more chilled version but with a similar crowd. Looks good place to bounce a Xu Bar pick up to to better hear eachother talk (esp if her 'engerish' aint that great). But also good for pick up too if you prefer a more lounge-esq style of game to Xu

Apocalypse Now - more a proper club just couple blocks from Xu & Blanchys tho different crowd completely. Appears to be the place you descend upon around 1pm but attracts its fair share of badly dressed tourists, pervy old white men out alone and hookers. Although pretty good looking hookers at that (most had fake cans and a few with other plastic surgery). We ended up in here most nights around 12-1pm, tho seemed to be almost hookers exclusively on non weekend nights. Decent banter tho and the place to get tanked up and have a laugh. Not going to get near the volume or quality of targets as say Xu but still some gems to be had. Or try shore a hooker if thats your thing.

Go2 - in backpacker district. Lively last chance saloon club upstairs where you end up in around 3-4ish while already tanked up. Although also hooker heavy there are still some good options. Wish I could tell you more about this place but every time I was in there I was utterly shitfaced. nice bar to isolate your chick downstairs while club on 2nd floor is pumping, no idea how expensive it is to get in or how much drinks cost. But I do remember a bottle of vodka is (or should be) c120USD but my buddy got fucked in the ass paying 200USD and didnt get (or forgot) his change. So watch out for that stunt being pulled. During the day however we discovered it is also pretty cool to go have a beer on the terrace and watch all the chaos in the busy crossroads in front of you. We would sit there over a drink hoping to see an almighty bike accident but somehow those wee fuckers seem to just about miss eachother.

Also worth a mention was Saloon Seventeen (near Go2) - has live band who take requests (but clearly prefer if you request metal tunes). Is decent banter, and good for a couple early drinks to kick off the evening

Got the impression outside of weekend nights seems not a lot happens. With the exception Tuesday is supposed to be big at Lush (never made it there). Thursday night we tried Chill Sky Bar but it was pretty quiet. Tho I expect would be a different case at the weekends. Tho pretty pricey place, comparable to Singapore even. We over did it the first couple nights and never made it out the prime time slot that was saturday night tho, schoolboy error. We shouldve taken it easier, especially given the meds I was on killed my energy

But all in all a cracking 5 days in the city, despite not being 100% fully fit. Definitely going back seeing as its such a cheap/short flight for me (like a lot of destinations when you live in Singapore Banana ).

Irish, I would have probably put your datasheet in a new thread as this one is very old, but nonetheless, a great update on Ho Chi Minh City!

I was in Saigon a few years ago now and from what I've read on RVF it sounds like the city has changed a lot since then, especially the nightlife (I remember the nightlife being very poor when I was there, especially for a city of it's size).

RE: The lowdown on Ho Chi Minh/Vietnam - datasheet
Yeah in retrospect maybe I should copy and paste it into it's own thread. Just I find it useful when all the datasheets are consolidated into one thread whenever I am researching for a new city I am visiting, hence I just tend to tag it onto the latest existing thread. However it may get missed in that case.

I have written up other datasheets on Jakarta, Manila and Glasgow as well as a much needed update to my base city Singapore which has seen a big shift in the nightlife scene of late. May create my own thread for those once I polish them up a bit.

I will be back over to Saigon again soon for a weekend, tho got a couple persistent stalkers which I'm hoping to avoid. But need to go again as I didn't give it a good enough crack of the whip last time

I just got wind of this from another member. Solid write-up and, of course, major props for battling through the weekend in spite of the blurred vision / cosmetic issues. For a white guy in Saigon, it's all about differentiation. You rolled in with a positive attitude, were very prepared for the local shit tests, and had solid logistics. These all contributed to your success. 2.5/3 in Saigon on the first 3 nights is no joke.

I'm going to dish out some more data for the community in due course, as I think there are important gaming implications for short-term visitors vs. long-term residents, targeting 20-24 year old students vs. 25+ career women, etc. Hell, Apo on a Friday/Saturday night is a gold mine when compared to the weekdays.

A round of Irish car bombs awaits you upon your return.

Nice report Irish.
Damn, you've got me thinking about going back for a better look.
I was there briefly in 2011 but sounds like it is changing fast, and with your intel I could have a good time.
Ahh, so many places, so little time.

Cheers man. I quite enjoy putting these things together and helping out other lads with some intel. Just wish I had more time to dedicate to it. It's good especially to get a range of opinions as well so the more datasheets the better. As one man's heaven can be another man's hell. The place def changed a lot from when I was there a few years back, I imagine a lot of asia is getting that way as well.

Cheers man, it was a pleasure to meet you too. We should do it more often Thumb up

It was an eye opening (wayheeey) weekend for sure. You definitely gave me some food for thought when we were chatting about the asian travelling lifestyle while financing it through the running of an online business. To be honest I am looking to do a few months travelling as came into a bit of cash and have some rental income coming in too, so I am sure it is do-able, and fuck me I deserve it after the hours I have been working. It's just a question of timing and knowing that with the real stringent VISA & employment pass laws here I would probably be turning my back on Singapore for good once I quit my job. I love it so much here I really don't want to do that without having some 'in' to come back again to eventually. But I'm trying to work a couple of angles on that front, my networking is generating some leads.

I will let you know when I will be back over, so many places I'm keen to go to round SE Asia, plus so much happening here too, can't make my mind up.

Looking forward to your write up man, we probably should start a seperate thread as I probably should have done with my HCMC data sheet. I will do so for next time when i do my Jakarta write up. Just waiting on sorting my return trip there to try out a couple more venues and expand my knowledge of the place. Sorting with a mate from here who is over a lot and his bird is quite hooked up so can get us the best tables with some comped bottles. Planning on meeting up with Elim as well and whoever else RVF'ers might be in town. Plus I have a few irons in the fire from the previous Jaks trips, including a chick who till now I didn't realise is apparently one of the top female DJ's in Indonesia(!!)

Excellent posts on Saigon Irish! I'm going there in the fall to check it out and see if it's a place that I'd want to post up for a few months and I've already bookmarked your post about it.

Papi Rico,
Looking forward to reading your datas from the ground on Saigon as I am looking to possibly relocate to Saigon for a while starting from this fall. Anything you could post would be highly appreciated!

Cheers guys!

RE: The lowdown on Ho Chi Minh/Vietnam - datasheet
Guys, I need your advice on selecting place to rent in Saigon. I go to Vietnam for a full February 2015.
I am comfortable spending 1000-1500$ for rent there, which is up to 50 dollars per day. I can spend more but I would feel these costs.

The problem is that there are no good options up to 50$. Serviced apartments near Vincom Center Mall in District 1 are mostly about 80$. Lancaster (80-110$ per day), Somerset is about 90$ per day, Mayfair, Le Thanh Ton all are above 80$.
Only Mix&Match is 55-60$ (on the edge of the comfortable price boundary for me).

Budget hotels in Distict 1 in the same area are starting from 20-30$. So in theory there's an option just to rent cheap hotel in great location, right near Vincom Center Mall. Because I think save extra 10 dollars by adding 1 km walking distance from Vincom Center Mall would cost me more in time spent walking and logistics effect.

Is it effective for game purposes to choose apartment over budget hotel? Is there effect of spending extra 20$ for room with better view and space? Did girls react differently?

Another questions are girls easy about bringing and showing their IDs?
For example, Mix&Match serviced apartment requires overnight guests to be registered (though no need to register guests who don't stay).

Girls have to show ID at hotels, it makes them feel like whores. I will try to post more details about apartments when I wake up.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

Surely, before asking for advice I've checked airbnb first, then all big booking sites like booking.com, hotels.com, agoda.com. By the way many objects on Airbnb are not from real hosts, but from big serviced apartments providers, and "hosts" on airbnb are just middlemen or representatives of those big companies. Also I wrote to real estate agency easysaigon in Vietnam.

The question is partialy about policy of choosing place, doest it pay off when you pay more, given budget and alternative ways to spend money like dinner dates and etc.

OK, most of the monthly rentals you find in Saigon on the Internet are insanely overpriced. I would just get a hotel room if you're going to be here for a month. Just book a couple days, tell them you're thinking about staying longer. If they give you trouble about bringing girls back, switch hotels. Girls don't care about banging in hotels, it's just that sometimes they 'forget' their IDs or get cold feet because asking for their ID makes them feel like a whore. A few girls have mentioned this to me but in the end it didn't hurt my efforts.

Ok, thanks. Then I am more likely to use hotels.

Another question is on Game.

chochemonger1 said that it's important to prescreen girl on being ready to go home: ".... The key was picking the right ones based on the criteria I mentioned above and not bothering with the ones who were too conservative, for example. "

It's a commonsense that more drinking and girls who accept accidential touching would be easier, but if there are no clear signs and you like the girl, did you run tests?

How do you guys prescreen them given that kino in public is not common in Vietnam, so I cannot touch much or hold hands in public in Vietnam (that's how i understood). Which kino acceptance tests did you use? How do you judge?

Is there some verbal alternative like discussing sex experience or relationship questions. Would it be polite to ask girl straight about her sex experience? Should it be one of the topics with Vietnamese girls? Which questions or intimate topics were ok and which were unpolite?

I've never had problems with kino but I think Vietnamese girls react differently to certain kind of kinos. For example, hand holding is more accepted than you your hand across her back but with alcohol anything goes really.

You can definitely hold hands in public and the best time to do that is when you're crossing the street (applies anywhere but if there is a mandatory time to hold a girl's hand. It is crossing the street in Saigon) 99% of the time, she will compliance. If not, ditch her asap.

Is there a reason why you'd want to bring up such topic? the best type of game in Asia in my opinion is "safe guy" game. Don't try any crazy trick or be cocky funny. Just be normal, that's all you need.

The blonde Vietnamese girl in this video, for those of you that have spent time there, is there a lot of girls like that in Ho Chi Minh? I'm all about those petite, dainty, kinda ditzy, adorable asian girls. I'd be in heaven if the place is crawling with girls like that.

Definitely not. Sounds like you have a thing for white girls if that's your ideal asian girl.

I wasn't specifically referring to the blonde hair or pale skin.

Are there, in SEA, millions and millions of petite, dainty, kinda ditzy, adorable Asian girls? In short: Yes, man, absolutely.

(Someone's going to buy his ticket to HCMC real soon...)
