RE: Cardio and Conditioning for Sex
I started using kettlebells for just this reason, and I am very satisfied. I can't think of any other movement that simulates fucking as faithfully as the kettlebell swing does. The swing itself is supposed to be propelled by popping your ass forward, with your ass cheeks clenched tighter than a Jew's wallet.

I used a rep scheme mentioned by Tim Ferriss mostly, I use a weight until I can get 75 consecutive reps, and then move up. I think this is more effective for simulating sex than heavy reps of 10 say. I'm at 44 lbs currently. My form is probably terrible, but as long as you're popping your ass forward, you'll feel the benefits.

Nice! Consensus is clearly KBs. Ive been doing swings just with a dumbell for a couple of weeks, banged a new girl this week and, yep, its noticable - definitely more thrusting power. Cant wait to get a real KB and work my way up.

Love the movement too, it seems so effective - 5 mins 2-3 times a week in return for explosive hip power, AND something that gets your cardio fitness up. Dont need to leave home and zero impact on joints. Like.

Funny that this thread exists and it's recent, I was going to post something similar if it hadn't already been discussed. I lift heavy deadlifts, squats, bench, etc but have found that my sexual fitness isn't what it was when I was an endurance athlete in college.

I'm curious and surprised by the kettleballs answer, actually. Does anyone mind explaining what it is about kettleball workouts that you feel make them the best option for cardio output in relation to sex? Is it that it's a thrusting movement but also involves moderated breathing and raised heartrate?

Also, for anyone who takes their lifting and recovery from lifting seriously for aesthetic reasons, how do you add in kettleball workouts most effectively for this purpose without impeding your strength gains from your typical lifting schedule? I lift heavy Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and take boxing lessons on the weekends. Curious how you guys have balanced the kettleball cardio for sex with your lifting.

yeah it's basically an explosive hip thrust, squeezing your glutes as tight as possible, and a hard set ends up feeling almost like a sprint - because it's a swing based on momentum, the ballistic nature of the movement means you cant slow down, every rep has to be explosive to get the kettlebell up. fries your glutes/hams and heartrate + breathing gets pretty heavy. Not as much as grappling or sprinting, but enough to get you fit.

for me I stopped squats and deads along time ago due to ear problems (dont ask), now I just do pistols to keep a level of squatting strength, and the kb swings actually seem to be making my hams and glutes tighten up and grow nicely.

I dont know how you'd fit it in with your barbell lifting though, sounds like quite an intense schedule. Supposedly, progress in the KB swing will assist your deadlift, so maybe you could replace them. I would think squats 1-2x week + KB swings 2x week might actually lead to deadlift improvements. At minimum I dont think you'd lose any DL strength if you replaced it for a few weeks, unless your DL is at a very advanced weight.
